  1. I agree. The Epon 501, with their undercut, are more forgiving. They don't have the soft buttery feel of the Mizunos but I would just stick with the Epons (no I wouldn't, cause I can't stick with anything but my Yamaha 2009 Tour, maybe) as they are darn good.
  2. And then I want one of that level ? Such a great project to follow - would be awesome to have a Swedish designed putter with some sweet mods. All done by people here. Cool!

I still sport the Matrix f7m2 LTD with full length zylon in my 3-wood. Never have I hit a shaft that is so tight yet feels so good. It is in strong flex but feels so much softer. I think I will have to give the Eldorado a go if anyone can give a review about feel and performance. Would be great to have it tested vs a Matrix TP or f7m2.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmiuraismmm - lovely! Don't sell them, just hang them on the wall.
  5. Are they conforming?
  6. WOW! That is a fantastic four. Like playing a round with Seve, Hogan, Bobby and Nicklaus ?
  7. Beautiful! What are the lofts/bounce? How big are they compared to 210 KGX?
  8. off

They look new - never played them?
  9. Yours? ? Writing from the surgery room after first anaesthetics. That shoulder should be good in 3-6 months, about when golf courses open round here / timing! Can't wait to be able to smack the ball again!
  10. Very pretty indeed! I hope it finds a great home. GLWS
  11. RC 6150 56 bent to 55. Fantastic little wedge that is small enough to look good and big enough to actually have a sweetspot.
  12. He would take it to a chop-shop though and tune it heavilly and possibly give it wheels.
  13. I've not had the privilege of hitting a 7D or an AAA. I do have a Diamana X 70S they I've not hit yet either though but how would that compare (or would in not?). B

Beautiful! I will post pics of my re-finished Honma Tour Model 4-wood with a 2-star shaft; NTB driver with a G-Loomis (bought at the Japanese "Fairway Golf" in San Diego) and a Dunlop driver when I get home. I also have two Mizuno woods, laminate and red painted, from the late 60's. They are in horrible shape and were aparently the first Japanese golf clubs imported to Sweden. They were in my bag when I started playing golf as a 6 year old in 1983. In pretty shabby shape back then too but would be fun to have re-finished.
  15. 2015 what region? Chianti Classio? I've bought as much 2010 Brunello as I could afford, best ever, but only opened one bottle yet. I'll have some good wine years starting 2020 or so. A good friend of mine, Swede, has lived in Osaka for 16 years. He is not a golfer but an all-star drinker ? Maybe he has some ideas Chris
  16. Thank you for the write-up. Beautiful and well written. I've been to Italy a few times but after reading this, I don't think I've really been to Italy.. I'm a sucker for Brunellos and Super Tuscans so may have to plan a real trip with your expert advice Chris.

Wonderful oldschool looks! Have you tried it out yet Dave?
  18. Maybe that's the idea - a new kind of "rescue" but one that makes it easy for you to hook or slice your way out of the woods. :-)

Thanks everyone who contributes to this post. I think I will try to find a few Monaco wedge shafts. Best, Björn
