Scratch Milled "Weight Slot" Prototype Wedge *PICS
Oh someones proud :D I am to bro your picture taking has improved 200% Tripods are cheating... Its like teeing up your shot from the sand  Nice looking wedges! I love the new milling holes. Adds some style that the classic holes were lacking :D LOL if you were assigning me a handicap based on my picture taking abilities without the tripod I would have been about a 50. You would never yell at a 50 handicapper for teeing it up in a bunker. You would just be happy to see him get it out.

What do you guys think about this?
FairwayFred replied to FairwayFred's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearExactly. I can refute his claim and then Paypal will take statements and make a decision. Untill then they will hold the money. Im not sure what would happen with the wedge at that point.

Adding Ingots in the milled out area would lower the COG and make the ball spin a little more. That is something we could do we would just have to find the right size ingots or mill out the slots to the size and depth of the ingots we could find. BTW, Ive improved a bit in my picture taking huh? That tripod was the key!

What do you guys think about this?
FairwayFred replied to FairwayFred's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearIt was not a custom Scratch wedge that he ordered it was a Vokey that was not even mine. I am selling it for a friend of mine. This has nothing at all to do with Scratch. It has not even been a week since it shipped out. I have no problem sending the guy his money back if he is unhappy with the wedge but thats not even the case here. Its definetly not about the money. They guy was just incredibly rude starting with the first PM he sent me. Anyways refunding his money is not even an option that he has left me because before I could even do that he has filed a claim with Paypal.

What do you guys think about this?
FairwayFred posted a post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearI was wondering what you guys thought of this situation. I sold a Vokey wedge to someone on this board on the BST section. This wedge was not even mine, I am selling it for a friend. It is brand newly refinished by the Iron Factory. We recieved the payment last saturday. The wedge was taken to our local Pak Mail shipper on tuesday along with about 75 other wedges. Were shorthanded at the shop right now since Waldo is out of town so I am running around doing 1000 things at once including trying to carry almost 75 boxes into Pak Mail by myself which certainly was fun! I get a PM from him on thursday asking me to confirm the day it shipped. I tell him it shipped on tuesday. I get a PM from him on friday saying that the wedge did not show up yet and that he wants the tracking number. I tell him that it was sent through a Pak Mail shipper and that I didnt have the tracking number handy. I told him that I would get in touch with Pak Mail and get him a tracking number. I send the owner of Pak Mail an email friday night asking for the tracking number for his package. Saturday I havent heard from him and I call. He is not there but I leave him a message to check his email. Sundays they are closed. I expect to hear back from him tomorrow with the tracking number. In the meantime I am sure the wedge will arrive any day. Today he send me another PM saying that he cannot believe that I have not gotten back to him with the tracking number. Now he has filed a claim with Paypal demanding to get his money back. Throughout this whole transaction he was very very rude. I am not really sure what I should do and I wanted to get some others opinions. :)

My Scratch wedges arrived!!!!!
:) Those are the kind of shots that keep you coming back day after day. It was actually from about 125 yards. I used my new Scratch Weight Slot 53*. The raised COG was exactly what I needed on that shot, trajectory was perfect! Here is a pic of my new favorite club 8)

Here is a pic of a wedge with our new milled Weight Slots in the back. These Weight Slots take weight out of the bottom of the club and raise the COG. It is the same concept as the holes drilled in the back of the Titleist BF signature wedge or DL3s wedges in this months Golf Digest. However instead of using a drill press we use a milling machine. It achieves the same thing and we think it looks alot better. :) These milled Weight Slots are now available on our custom wedges for an additional $20.

My Scratch wedges arrived!!!!!
Harald, I am very glad to hear that the wedges finally arrived!!! :) Here is a pic of my "Tango and Cash" grind 58* wedge. I will get some more pics up later from some different angles but this should give you guys a pretty good idea what it is. The grind has trailing edge relief in the center part of the sole only. Pretty much it makes the wedge play like a thinner sole wedge from the fairway and around the greens but like a thicker sole wedge from bunkers. I am not the best bunker player out there so this is key for me. It allows you to open the face for flop shots to a certain degree without the leading edge raising off the ground too much. It is a very versitile grind that is working very well for me right now.

Jeff, It was great to meet you. I really had a great time. I look forward to showing you around Bandon sometime soon. :)

Scratch Custom Tour CB Irons are here! ***PICS***
Jovi, I am very fermiliar with the MacGregor PCB Tours. Excellent set of clubs. The progressive cavity technology on those irons was very simular to the progressive face thickness on our Tour CBs. Our CB is noticeably smaller with less offset and a thinner topline. It has a much more bladelike appearance at address.
