  1. Ted, I got your message this evening. I am sorry I did not get right back to you but I was out of the office all day playing golf. I will call you tomorrow (tuesday) :)
  2. possible deal pending............
  3. Sorry we do not sell components at all. The way that our clubs are made we need to have the shafts and grips with us to ensure correct weighting of each club.
  4. Smit, Scratch irons are on the way! :D We will be releasing our 2 sets of Blades in about 2 weeks. The raw heads are on the way from Japan as we speak. The first set is the Scratch Classic Blade. It is a small traditional sized blade that is shorter from heel to toe and slightly taller. The second set is the Scratch Tour Blade. It is a slightly larger modern size blade. It is slightly longer from heel to toe. The heads are forged along side our wedges at Ishihara Japan from the same soft heat treated 1018 carbon steel. As with our wedges our irons will be 100% custom hand made for you to your specs. You get to choose lofts, lies, lengths, swingweight, shaft, grip, finish, grind, headshape and stampings. The price for 3-PW is $1250 plus shipping with pretty much any steel shaft except Project X, PX is a $100 upcharge. Our forged CBs will be released around April 20th. They are the same size and profile as the Scratch Tour Blade. I have been playing a prototype set for about a month now and they are just incredible. They look perfect at address and are very workable. The feel is just butter. On top of all that I am consistantly amazed at just how forgiving they are. Here are a few pictures for you guys. These are pictures of the raw heads with our S logo superimposed where it will be on the finished product. This will give you guys a good idea about what they look like. I have also added a picture of a raw head at address for each. (the blade address pics are of a 4 iron the CB is a 7 iron) Keep in mind that these pictures are of raw heads that we have not done any work to. Our first run of irons is limited to about 10 custom sets of each model. Send me an email at [email protected] if you are interested in ordering a set or have any questions. As soon as we get a set done I will post professional pics of them here and on our website. SCRATCH CLASSIC BLADE SCRATCH TOUR BLADE SCRATCH TOUR CB

  8. I need to move this putter. I will listen to any reasonable offers. Send me a PM.
  9. $175 shipped This is a brand new head straight from the RC tour van. It is a 20* 5 wood and it sits dead square. Pretty much a slightly larger version of the Sonartec SS03. Send me a PM if you want it.
  10. Price lowered to $525 shipped. Someone out there will be VERY VERY happy with this putter. :)
  11. Now THIS is an INCREDIBLY rare find. This is the only one of its kind to ever be sold by Gauge. One of the first Aluinser Prototypes ever made! It is a GAA0 head that is completely unstamped. The only markings at all on the putter are Aluinser by David Witlam on the bottom of the Aluinser. There are no other markings or stampings on the putter at all. No stampings on the sole, face or cavity. It has some of the best milling marks on the head that I have ever seen. Especially in the back by the cavity area. It has a polished shiny nickel finish that looks like a shiny smokey chrome finish. This putter is 100% completely brand new. It even has the plastic still on the grip. Comes with black leather Gauge headcover. I will sell for $550 shipped and paypal'd. I guarantee that you will never see another putter like this one. Send me a PM and own a piece of Gauge history that is sure to increase in value!
  12. Thanks for the offer but I am just looking to sell. Good Luck!
  13. The Copper finish is actually turning out to be very durable! I have had my Copper wedges for about 3 months now and I do not notice any more wear than on a normal chromed club. I am sure they will wear a little faster in the end but it is alot more durable than I ever thought it would be. The original Hogan club that we redid was taken to a local golf store for people to beat on. 3 and a half months later and after thousands of balls on the range the club still looks amazingly good. They decided to polish it yesterday and it now looks pretty much brand new. We should be officially adding the Copper finish to our line in the next couple weeks.

That is not always true. Taylor Made's first run of Fe2O3 wedges were not oil quenched and had yellow flags. They were cast 8620 steel. The forged wedges are only from the Japaneese market. You can buy the normal yellow flag cast wedge is some US retail stores.

  16. This is a very very rare Gauge Design GA01 Longneck Tour putter. It is siumlar to a Kevin Burns 9303 head style. It has a long plumbers neck and is 100% face balanced. This is 1/5 putters made with the face balanced long neck. It is a completely 1 piece putter, there is no aluinser. It has Gauge Design by D. Witlam on the sole along with GA01. It has the Gauge logo in the cavity and on the face. It also has the tour T mark handstamped on the back. This is an extremely rare piece and an incredibly good looking putter. It is brand spanking new, never touched a golf ball. You will never see another putter like this again. I have pics that I can send to anyone interested. I will post the pics in the thread tomorrow. I will sell it for $450 shipped and paypal'd. Feel free to send me an email with any questions.
  17. After 3 rounds of play, I am very glad that I got the Hogan. It performs alot better for me on the course than the range. It even feels alot better now that I am hitting real golf balls instead of range rocks. I find it very easy to hit from just about any lie. Trajectory is perfect, most importantly it doesnt balloon into the wind. All 3 rounds were at Bandon/Pacific Dunes with about a 30 mph wind and the Hogan performed wonderfully especially into the wind. On one uphill 175 yard par 3 dead into the wind I hit a perfect Hogan 19* to the middle of the green. I think I carry it about 210 under normal conditions. Simular to my distance with a 5 wood. I definetly carry it longer than a 2 iron but there is less roll. I have struggled to find a hybrid that I was comfortable with mostly due to the offset that they all have. The Hogan sets up great and looks like a club I can hit. It has very little offset and most importantly does not hook. I was very impressed with how consistant the ballflight is. After the 1st round I was so impressed with the Hogan that I bought the 21* #3 to replace my 3 iron. (the fact that it cost only $75 didnt hurt) I was equally as impressed with it. It goes about 10 yards shorter than the #2 with only a slightly higher trajectory. Seems to fill the gap between my 19* and my 4 iron perfectly. It is equally as good into the wind as the #2. Its alot more forgiving than my 3 iron and is very consistant. It is just so much more playable in pretty much every situation. I have only played a few rounds with them but I think despite my ego being mad at me they will be a great addition to my bag.
  18. PRGR Zoom 050i 19* with DGS300 shaft. 9.5/10 condition, D4 swingweight with no lead tape. Excellent club that can be had for next to nothing right now. $400 club less than a year ago. $80 shipped!
  19. Graphite Design GAT Tour75 S flex. Played 44.25" in a 1.25" bore driver and frequencied at 7.0. Perfect Pull by TourTunedGolf. Shaft is pretty much brand new. This is the same shaft that Kenny Perry and others are using on tour. GAT technology has steel fibers which help the shaft kick and feel more like a steel shaft. Excellent shaft, if they made a heavier version it would still be in my bag. $70 shipped Harmon Tour Design Model 7250-X46 X flex Prototype. Pulled from my BBD Type H. Played 43.25" in the BBD. Graphics read: HTD Prototype. I know nothing about this shaft really as far as specs but although it is stiff it feels really good. Harmons are the fastest growing shaft on tour right now. $70 shipped Send me a PM if your interested or have any questions. THANKS!
  20. LOL Wrong Forum! LOL Check Buy/Sell/Trade
  21. 13* Taylor Made 200 Tour Issue "Duffy" with DGS300. Hit less than 10 balls, pretty much brand new. Sets up perfectly square. $175 shipped 14* Callaway Steelhead+ 4+ model with Graphite Design JV Japan Tour shaft, stiff flex. This is the best fairway wood model Callaway has ever designed. There was still 20 of these clubs in play at the last PGA Tour event even though this model is 3 years old now. Shaft is very high quality, about 75 grams, 3.0 torque, mid/high kick. Sets up perfectly square. $225 shipped Send me a PM if your interested or have any questions!
  22. I can definetly vouch for Scott and TourTuned's work. I had him take apart my BBD Type H and rebuild it with an uncut Fujikura HM4 that I had. I told him the frequency I wanted and he tipped it right to that frequency on the first try. He matched the swingweight, spined and flo'd the shaft for perfect occilation and quick set it in time for our tee time an hour later! I also just got back my KZG Gemini that he reshafted for me. It looks perfect and the guy I got it from really butchered it trying to shim it open for me. I was very impressed when I got it back. These guys run a top notch operation and their clubwork is as good as any in the industry.
  23. No problem at all! I am glad that I could be of help. I definetly do not think that the Air Muscle would be what you are looking for. (BTW, PM returned! ) I just bought some SYB to try but I think I know what would work best; I couldn't resist buyin the SYB--they were being dumped for pocket change. If these Concept dont' work I'm going with TS202s w/PX 5.5. I've found 3 and 4 irons but would love to find a 2. Doesn't that seem like it would work well with my z101s and my DD Spec? Sounds like a very sweet setup. I have heard great things about those TS202 long irons. I bet the 2 iron would be very nice. I dont know if it would be better than the Air Muscle for a 2 iron though. For a 2 iron the AM is very very good. Not getting along with your Club X these days? I like the idea of versitility for this perticular spot in the bag and I think a club like the Hogan is the way to go over a 2 iron or 5 wood.
