im currently in the process of picking which AXIV shaft to buy and was wondering does anyone know if these need to be tipped, or play better if tipped? also should i choose a weight im happy with then the flex i normally play or do i go by the shafts CPM? sorry but its kinda confusing! :cool:

chris do u still have the brand new viq 450 with w60 r available????

in the catalog this only comes with one shaft option.....can it be order with a custom shaft??

i would definately agree.....for example out of the rough i found the sonartec md ( which has a deep face!) to be difficult to get out where as its shallow friend the tm rescue was easy!

just paid for my ux2 through the tourspec catalog.....hopefully it wont take toooo long coming and as soon as it does il do a review! especially in comparison to the CLK...... mainly to see if there are any differences

ns pro are a great shaft ive had great success with my 850s.... currently im playing pxs but am finding them too demanding as im more of a swinger! so i went today and got one of the new 750 wraps installed in my 9 iron and found they had identical feel to the 850s, only difference was distance.......i can HONESTLY say that the 750 was one full club longer. i was considering the change over until i heard the price of them! i near swollowed my tongue lol! expensive. but all in all i think the nippon ns pro series are super for feel, distance and accuracy

hey guys just wondering has anyone tested these tourstage viq forged irons? just came accross them there and thought they looked sweet! any reviews or feedback would be cool, especially on the feel and forgiveness! ps does anyone know if the turbo rubber actually works?

there is a funky looking fujikura putter shaft that chris sells in his catalog http://www.tourspecgolf.com/catalog/produc...products_id=278 looks the job, but i personally have no idea on how it performs! iomic grips rule...i have one on my gauge putter and think its the :poop:

what did u not like about the axiv? i have not hit one yet but want to due to their glowing reports! same with the tour ads especially the w60 shaft! i currently am using a diamana ion 83 and love the feel of it! i know what you mean about the illegal high CORs beeeing irratic, i also find that they feel and sound horrible in comparison......

cool taipani il look into one also! how did u rate the x drive 2 when u owned one...feel, distance, forgiveness? and how did it perform with the axiv shaft?

lol may be worth a try! at the minute im thinking erc hot, x18 or a tourstage either 450 viq or the xd2! shafted with an axiv..... too much to choose from :laugh: :cool:

Does anyone know how this UX2 performs compared with the 2005 rescue dual tp? i hit the tp today and thought it was sweet, maybe went a bit high but feel and distance seemed good!

they actually wear pretty good! i was very surprized at how little bag chatter thay had especially because of the 1018! not sure about long term because i sold mine. also the japan finish definately seemed to be a much better job than the usa, it seem to be a better colour, seemed to last ( ie the old usa finish seemed to wear away! whereas the japan finiash was solid!). :cool:

thanks taip i will do...... because illegal drivers are very high cor does this mean that they will sound horrendously loud or is it possible to get a high cor driver with the muted sound and solid feel? currently im looking at .... ERC HOT Nike DFI R7 MAX Tourstage xd2 405 or viq

bumpNrun i dunno about the ERC HOT but im certainly gettin HOT with your pic! lol ERC HOT is meant to be very long....but theres bound to be an import driver that blows it away! i have a fairly slow swing with smooth tempo, smooth transaction. ss is roughly 100 with driver....

have to say d**ksy, you hit those suckers very well with the sl300s , not a bad decision goin back to them! :cool: sfgolfer, i had a set of the scratch cbs and they definately were very forgiving and very much a feel club! the grind on them was super as it glided through the turf! however from a different point of view i think looking down at the nc1s inpires me with more confidence, hence the reason i changed! both irons have different feel both awesome in their own way! :cool:

can any one help me with this? i want something that is scarey long....i have a slow smooth swing and need all the extra yards i can!!!!
