Fellas help needed immediatly, im totally lost here I used to, as in till prob mid of last year use low bounce wedges pretty much exclusively I as most know dont mind a wedge experiment or two. How ever this has me totally flumoxed Gamed my all time faves the tourstage x wedge marus for the first time in a while today Bit chilly today ground hard perfect opportunity to bust em back out Well what a total disaster that was i mean it was just horrendous Absolutely no feel for them was flipping them over ,chinking them ,thinning them , h..h..h..h..hosell rocketing them .., it was all hideous, ionly had one set so i had to game them Luckily i didnt need em much on track as i Used the shingo59 mainly in close (geee thats a good flopper for in close ) forgot how good that is...., Anyway it appears ive completely lost my touch for low bouncers Can some one give me a clue as to what cud have gone on? These used to be absolutely automatic. Stone dead Today im not kidding they were totally lost at sea Whats possibly gone wrong bec. I cant go thru that agn it was most disturbing its not like ive not got replacements at the ready ive been hitting the prgr led and syards and fourteens brillinatly I cant risk that agn ,scared the cripes outta Thoughts pls!,!,,!,!,

oldie, but prob my fav all time head, the callaway ERC III one thats been in my rotation since it was released in 06 its still in perfect nick and the best combo ive had with it was with an original diamana blue 73s so i figuered it might be good with the new shaft tech. "calling diamana X 70s.." very deep hosel on this so a stock length driver shaft came out at 44.5 inch the head needed a bit more weight to get the SW to d2+ so hot melted it to 205 gram from 194 his wordrs were pretty inspiring ( and daunting) when i picked it up be carfull with this, i added 10g melt to make it low cog. but witht he shaft so deep this will be ULTRA low spin. 44.5 legnth shud be fantastic for u it wil be low low spin. so i used it sat. and he was dead right, it is 9.5*, flight was mid (at best) with the tee pretty high. and it just kind of meandered out a decent distance. i hit the second and 3rd dead middle and walked to the spot and it was easily right up there with my best drives. the shorter length definatly makes for a more controlled feel. and any swing thats non committal bang , right. its VERY hard to turn it over. on the range a cpl of straight pulls , but there was no snap hook arc to it was a very good build. and it will stay as is. that callaway ERCIII head is fantastic such a beautiful feeling. and it loks awsome 450 cc BIG face nothing overly fancy about it (aprt form its components ) just an all round solid driver tht is EASILY up there with whats about now. wud have no prob using this on nay trak in any condition. in fact pretty sure this will become my travelling driver . and ...............proving once agian , that just bec its brand new. doesnt necceccerialy make it much better than what once was!

Fourteen Limited Edition MT28 TS SPEC 3 wedge set
supo replied to gocchin's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
rehashing this as these are my fav wedges. anyone end up gettitng any of these. ? they are back in the bag at the moment. as its getting a bit thicker on groun here. they are VERY hard to bend. so they can be done only once. i had a set bent to 50-55-60 to play with my 46* PW. these spin like the aboslutle clappers. are very heavy and extremely all round. play them in hawaii, they domintated there last year over all my others. just need a bit of grass with these bec the 60 is 14* bounce. and NOT ideal to slice under thin fairways. as good as anything ive ever palyed. some snaps -
fist time ive gamed both the 3 and 5 on saturday 3 has the diamana X 70x in it , the 5 the B 80s played a very long 7200 yard A_grade track here so def needed both FWDs. well.i know the 5 intimatly. the 3 is the new kid on block with this shaft. been gaming the crazies with roddio tours agan recently, those ae just suiting me SO well ATM well about the 3....... its SUPER punchy. low and straight as a die. off the tee its magnificent. its plenty long doesnt want to be arced around the course . its really just for supreme accuracy for stronger swingers. builder hot melted it to get it heavier, which made it a bit deader in feel but really got the weight spot on, heck of a job on it. i ht it off the deck on the par 5s 3 times. middeld it twice nad top toed it once. off deck its low. BUT not that low. its perfectly accepatable ,the egg spoon is WAY lower. distacne was terrfic. not going to say tiwas a record setter. but its def no less than the "others" and its prob a bit ooomphier. i think the diamanaX shaft in it doesnt s o it any distance favours, but it certianly does for control this is a heck of a control 3w. the FEX was longer for sure, but it was also whippier. in wind this is a world beater. on nice calm days the FEX wud blow this out the water. horse for courses here. the set in the bag is an automatic no brainer , no fear of bad shots or topping of scuffing due to shape, they look tops they play tops only negative thought ofr me is the sleeknessof them. ive been playing fuller FWDs of late and i prefer that shape more. if these were the only 2 i had tho 100% no probs at all. they rock. i just prefer the fuller look of the RC yamaha and crazy right now i give these things 9.9/10

FOR SALE. one of my very first customisations, done very nicely by torrey rat in calif. brass head deep milled with aluminium insert , to give a very soft feel at impact. 325 gram head plays to 33 inch (at the moment ). id like to sell it head only , but will do as is if prefered. griped with my fav grip by a very "interesting chap" .. i mean this guy is OUT there grip maker, but the grips are sensational by DMMP. smnooth rolling and a lighter weight feel due to the grip length and weight. lovely putter he did a great job on this, so much so he replicated it a cpl of times one of which is for my son when hes old enough. paypal EMS shipping... insurance, tracking $300 shipped
