    u goign heavier ??
  2. yesterdays game with both drivers in very storng wind waccine gt 88 and diamana X 70 s waccine is low and extremely stable in the biggest wind imaginable i wont be using anything esle ever again. the dia X is way higher and an absolute bomber. cant see anything else gettign a decent look in for a long time finally got them wired weight wise. very easy to hit heads. and they go plenty long enough thanks. only issue is the waccin into the iwnd although it was arrow satrigh it got back spiinned a lot and distance was lessend signicantly. with the wind it was alll bounce adn roll. the DIAx was just out and out huge. very unusal , but the weight issue has been solved . loved looking at hte heads a address, not once did i even think iwas going to miss right. which is very unusal for me. yes i wil lsay defititively now this head( the deep one )........ is extremely good the harder iwent at the ball the better the results got. but i also can choke down on it a bit and hit my stinger drive very easily.. when i need to. play around with weights chaps makes a big differnce. i wont be changin these about now ive got them perfect. awsome drivers both both these drivers are comin to sdyney prob dont need anything else really. but of course thats a pipe dream..!
  3. Agreed chris def a.flatter traj with the syard Than the ryoma Put about 6 grams init my yamaha v17 was 346 gram the syard was 336 so i met slighhtly in the middle

    52/58 wedge set

yamaha tour 52-58 form 2013. and i think i might have 1 set of bolds i can let go no probs a single epon kgx satin 56* a set of tourstage maru s yea can do these no probs as well..,
  6. Well seeing ive.got 2 of them i dont find them to be average or below thats for sure The vspec is a slightyl diffeeetn animal but they play similar to me although they look nothing alike Lovimg both and especially rhe waccine That shaft is special
  7. yea both D heads. and im kinda enjoying them , the more i hit them. still confused as to their place in my rotation at the moment agaisnt the ryomas. in particular..... buth this weeks game is on an A_grade track so i need a combo of "wail into it " and a few real tight straight drives. only taking these two drivers out so this will be defintiive for me. i think il hit em well tho , no reason to doubt them so far. and leading into the bag spots ofr oz. thsi wil be a good test,. as the grass is always short nad harder. then typical japan conditions. very reminiscent of sydney really. the ryoma f3 will get a bag spot this wekeend as well
  8. just rebuilt my 5 wood from the quadra fire expres 75xs to a diamana B 80s , and put a bit of hot melt in the head , it was a bit light previously. ranged it a cpl of nights back , and the new build improved the performce noticeably. added SW and the centre of gravity was brought centre not hosel so it delivers a much nicer balanced thump now ,and its surprisinly lower in flightt han i was expecting the hot melt , deadens the feel a bit , but adds distance and a more controled feel , u can feel the head the whole swing, now which is what icudnt do previosuly and was pulling everything. have no hesitation in puttign the quadra back on . or in a 3 wood .most probably...... but thsi has booked a trip to oz in dec. its really good
  9. no, just a specific putter section. bec im pretty sure weve all got more putters than anyother club , no ? pretty sure. a golds master piece wont get offerd out too often ........................................................ but an odyssey 2 ball or a scotty newport might go thru a lot. esp if they are sittign around doing nothing just a thought . if its struck a chord pls dont stone me, was just a suggestion. ie eg... "i have a spare scotty futura laying about , im looking for a detour as trade interest." that was my idea.
  10. hahahhahaaah ive go the yamaha tour 2013 3 iron and i m sure....jason has the yamaha tour 4 rion from 2011.. they do ?
  11. last night i took these out to play. trpx 9.5*--diamana x 70s 324 gram d2 44.875 inch trpx 9.5*---waccine gr88st 326 gram d2.5 44.5inch and i hit a lot of balls with them very vey well. the over riding end result was the trpx are extremely accurate and easy to hit. well and consitstantly well, the new longer rathe than higher face shape frames the ball nicely and , even tho it makes for a higher flight for steep transitions , they ball none the less does goes out there a decent distance. , they were both an instant go to club for my practice driving on imaginary holes . and the waccine was probaby my fav go to club. for distance over the diamanaX. which i need to verify on course this weekend. when i bag both of them the flight of the waccine was noticebaly lower than the diamanaX, which was my automatic go to club for carry but it did stray left , i can turn this over quite easily , alot more than the waccine which for the most part was arrow striaght. with a miss right, the differnt in feel between these two was big . the diamana was very kapiiiiiiiiing,, and the waccine was theuuuuuuuuuuuuuuumpkooooosh. depends on what u like . i liked both TBH. mnuted waccine. stingy X id plmb for the X shaft for accuracy on tight courses, and id go for the waccine for out and out length. cant wait to try these out this wekeend together. liek both of them a lot . dont thinlk they will knock the 435 out of top dog spot tho.
  12. Well 300 more balls tonight and im close to my best hitting The 13 deg egg is def the distance champ undisputed The ryoma is the beter all rounder its easy to hit from a tee but it does go very high The yamahaa and the tour edge exotics aee much better tee options But this is about being loooooooonnnnnnnnngggggggg The egg and the ryoma are both bagged for different tracks Id.never take the ryoma out in hawaii and theees no point.with the egg here in japan Loving both long.may they reign!
  13. pretty sure after seeing all the repsonses " ive got one to go" to any WTB putter ad. this might be a good thread to post up a "this putter needs a new home" maybe keep it in the putter section not BST. T, that sound ok, ?
  14. i originally tried the f2, and prefered that. but i thought the f3 might be the pefect foil for "high landings onto far away islands " over bunkers, i cant get the trajectory with my 13* egg.............. if sunday is any indication ive gone the right route

    wtb putter

looks like we all got plenty of putters wed all like to change over. obv this guy has no int in the post hes put up why dont we make an putter trade thread. then we can all threw in there. considering this is the piece that moves the most. ill start one off....
  16. i had a very long pre gmae session on a flat range before my match sunday took the ryoma f3 adn egg spoon out egg was 13* f3 is 15* egg with diamana B 70s my go to 3w when im playing offthe tips. which is nt every often any more! and the f3 with GD p9003x well............. if someone wud have said that there is a genuine................... genuine repeatable consistant challenger to the egg for DISTANCE.. i wudda taken it with a grai nof salt. till sunday the ryoma................. is absolutely the real deal. the gd shaft is a heavy 80+ gram beast.i normally choke down on it a smidge and wail into the ball, its high launch but i think its got a bit of spin... but its retardedly strong. i love this shaft i really shud have it in all my fws. well i hit prob 20 balsl each with the egg and the ryoma. grnated the eggis lower. it was over all longer, but the grass was very wet so the ryoma was an automatic choice for the match. glad i took it out par 5 14th. 580 yards hit the ryoma to forn edge with a slight toe shot and a draw. not been near that close on that hole eve before. not a breath of wind to stir the flight pure...... my opinion is such now. the egg spoon is still the most point shoot straight ahead 3 wood ive hit but the ryoma is prob as long and higher and more workable, than the egg. it might not suit everyone bec it is a very big head. it looks like a mini driver rather than a fwd. u CAN...... use it from a tee. albeit a very tiny one, but its a far bettter option thantthe egg. this is the real real distance deal. u can be asured this will be a bag spot in sdyney i ndecember for some of the brutes, i gotta play there. the only posssible contender is the syard 3w with a diamana B80s ..... that might JUST pip the ryoma bec its a bit lower . well see soon enough.....
  17. We were talking abou tthis yesterday Ive got a quadranfex in my5wood but its a bit light sweighted So the diamana b 80 s isgoing intoit with a bit of weight added to get the extrathump needed form a 5wood This thing is extremely long and very easy to hit .its not super high at all and its the .388 it ahs no resemblance the the xv what so ever Dunno why he called it xv. These are my fav fwd at the moment With the ryoma f3 thatthins is just preposterously long and eay to hit Its a tie in my book

  20. Yes have been for several years since they got released Its a very weird looking head in the beginning , and it takes a wee while to get used to it BUt if u stick to it and dont go back and forth to often it ends up being more than usefull The science seems pretty spot on,if u listen to the blurb on it by the inventor. I was ahuge fan of it for a long time till, for no. Explicable reason i swapped it out I had easily my best ever putting round with it in a comp at NSW gc, i didnt miss a Putt inside 10feet on those greens it was easily my best evereffort and i didnt even look like missing anything. I beat our pennant player that day . It was all the putter I will say wHen im in the zone with it its the best putter for me Dectractors are the head shape is weird ,esp when u dont play it for a while it takes a bit to get used to, and it feels a bit then bec its a long blade face But the insert is nice and. It rolls the ball very nicely Im a fan still got a cpl of them
