ryoma d1 v-spec 9.5*--diamana proto boron stinger 70x
supo replied to supo's topic in Buy, Sell, & Trade
still availble. nothing done my price is now $1050 -
srixons here...., are really quite lovely. the domestic irons we get are as soft as they come. and very much oriented to a players design the only thing about srixon i dont like is the design of the cavities, he heads are super small and comact ,they feel out of this world but they kind of mix up the design. to me imagine the tourtage cavities design with the srixon feel oh my..!

That ryoma ... I gotta give it a whirl if its really that much. Better

yea i mreally liking it . i have another one with ta stinger as well .while the stinger is longer adn feels better the DIA x is more accurate more foten and not as theatircal .its alsot he stinger head is 2 gram heavier , and that makes a big differnce

same shaft, diamanaX 70s 44.875 inch 324.5 / 322 grams d3.5 / d2.5 sw. solid workout yetserday with both. length........... the .388 clearly had the edge on centred shots for out and distance . over all. i hit about 40 shots with each driver . and the .388 was the winner the XV was MUCH better on off-centrered shots for length tho. the distance loss wasnt as significant . whcih leads to me to beleive that the xv is an overall more controleld driver. the .388 sprayed about much more than the XV did the .388 has a much livlier feel. much more electric , much more spine tingling than the XV whcih was reminsicent of the jbeam 435. now a lot of guys dont like that feel/ sound of them but they cant argue with the resullts. the 435 is just long and stright regardless of what it osudns looksl ike and gettign it in the3 RIGHT specs is very important ,too many of these go out incorrcdtly labeled which leads the new owner to mack them off, when its just incorrect specs nad hence guys think they arnt good. well.. they are. but the similarities of the 435 dnvx end there. the XV has a very mice to look at face ,the 10.5 * appears is ever so slightly closed. but its not measurable at address . it is in flight tho, with the ability to get the ball to turn over is def weighted in its favour over the .388. the XV just looks all ease and simplicity copmpared to the .388 whcih i think needs a bit of time to get acqualkited with. the small elongated head isnt what inspires great confidence. but it is at imapct!.. the Xv just looks friendly, and is friendly. flight was higher with the XV but that was expected ,but not so much so that is was clearly a baloon. not in the slightest. i was very happy with its results. im tkaing both of these to sysny i na cpl of weeks to play links, that will be there definitive test. but i have no reservations in sayng these 2 are seriopusly good drivers ill take the .388 for clobbering and shaping ,and ill take the Xv for control. dont think ill get distance record wit hthe XV and i think ill prob need a 9.5 in thsi as time goes by. but for now , i can play these two with ease. happy s-yarding

the .388 and the XV are nothing alike in anyway looks totaly differnt. feel completlely differnt trajectory and workability completley differnt they aer a perfect foil for each other, KK has aboslutlty donged it with this pair i think the XV might be the longer of hte pair. but icant say definitively yet, bec ive not gamed it, but the flight iwas getting alluded to it on range the .388 u can do ANYTHING with, its amazing the XV is more of a point shoot. roll so far. i much prefer the shape of the XV, but saying that ive hardly hit a miss hit with the .388 so i ts a tough call eye candy wise the XV gets it for me. and when i shaft up the new 9.5 with a diamanaX ill have a definitive answer. i cud easliy playthese two drivers over all others with no regrets the maxima ive not hit yet but will wsooon enough im sure, iloved tis shape not found one with my specs to hit yet but if its beter than the v-spec well its gotta be an awsome head.

afte a fairly exhasting session yest with these and the ora ...... i think the 2g18s (protos) are the smothest shafts ive ever hit. they go high. the they fall dead. think target practice. the modus 130 are meant to go higher and spin more than the 120s , heavier by a few grams. reports form the US say these things go brilintly in wind. they exceded all epxectation of the tour players using them. in regards to the 120s i think they are noticebally sweeter at impact. and like the 120s they have a very tight dispersion. vs the monacco X yetser day the 2g18s were tighter and straighter with less movemnet after apex. monacco can be moved about with ease ,the 130s not so. found them to be just automatic for point shoot shafts , with a hell of a feel , they feel soft , but they most definatly are not! id game these over the other protos i have if i ahd to choose just one set. althought the DPx are prety tasty as well..... i think i prefer the monacco in the epon personal heads to the other NS shafts, but i prefer the NS shafts in yamaha heads to monacco. might do a bit of tinkering i think but my choice of only 1 set of shafts wud be down tpo monacco VS the 2g18s
-
Ill let u know in a minute i just hitting mine nowmvs the monacco and ora S far they are bloody smooth and nice
-
