prob a tip weight id think.. and nope light head doesnt go further,, its as long and its a btter flight its seems to be more accurate for me. tho i hiot about 15 each before the match on a 280 yard range agaisnt the wind so cud see the end reuslt. the stinger shafted ( heavier head) drives were longer on average buth te dia X i got straighter on average so i gamed that bec it was blowing quite hard after one game i cant definitively say which was better , if any. but i guess i liked the way the X played , and i didnt fele lik i had to eb overly aggressive, i cud ease into a few ,and did, and hit 2 "tiger stingers" adn got them dead centre so most importantly,, they hit the shorties a lot!

Syard GT Type S Irons WOW
not thru any real choice, it just seems a cpl of sets ive had have , recently had these in them. and well they still fele like shiiiiiiiiiiiit , u cant fault thier playability right? in the sotfer heads i wil admit they do go quite well, they dont hold a candle to the monaocs tho (for me) but well if it aint broke.....!

syard with diamana stinger .................... 200g head 45 inch 321.5 gram d2.5 syard with and diamanX....................,.......193g head 44.875inch 321g d1 shafted my lighter 193 gram head with the diamana X and gamed it yesterday. had the stinger as well, but decided id play the new one. as ive been playing the other a lot rencently ,wanted to see any discernable differences with off centre shots distance was noticeably shorter. . they still were for the most part accpetable. but the loss of disatnce wa worse than the ryoma. i hit 9-14 yesterday and wasnt anywhere nearly "on" so the control with this set up is right up there,,i didnt , as they say , exactly set the world aight. but i did get really good impacts on 3 drives and il say without a doubt, there hasnt been a nicer feel nor result i can think of. flight was beautiful, brought it down a lot and a much more piecring strong flight with plenty of roll. distacne was superb. the course i played yeterday has very tight cropped hard gorund so roll is quite substantial here and the syard dia X was in its element. was blowign quite hard as well and plenty of shots from all angles. into the strongest of it it was very accpetable. the lightness of the head was notceable and wasnt what i call ideal. but for what it was it was much better than i exepcted. , took a while to get my tempo in check, back niine was much better hit 6/7 so no complaints. the other 200 gram head is much better for this shot but the lighter one still got it done ive changed my swing , and on the driver its especially better for distance. so ive picked up a cpl of mph . and it was noiceable yesterday. control will come, but i can hit into the ball harder now, and the dia X i gotta say is just getting better and better. this combo quite brilliant. if u have a fairly strong powerful swing d then this is one heck of a build that might be hard to top. i cud now very easily just play these 2 drivers and forgoe my others with no regrets. but of course................................., i iwont..!

supo replied to Craig's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech Gear2011 found the tour version of this head to be very long so this doesnt surprise me in the slightest. had one of these, yes the non tour same as shown here with a cray ls noir and i gotta say it was a heck of a driver.

T.388 rolls on
that .388 is a heck of a head. im building a diaman X 70s to go with the stigner 70s same exact stats for a shoot out tomorrow. ivep layed both but not in unison, so sunday with luck ill game both. tomorrow at range ill play both. i have a feeling i already know the outcome tho i had the diamana X VS stinger last night in my ryoma d1 heads. there was a clear diffence in them after about 30 odd shots with both drivers. there was def an noticebale differnce. and one is not bette than the other,

Have you tried your BOLD Wedge?
the bolds huh..... yea.. hmmmm still not 100% sure about them . like craig ive been playing them a decent amount and more importantly practicing extensively with them VS a whole gamuts of others.. my findings are they are a very simple easy to hit easy to play wedge that very rarely get u into trouble, but do get u out of BIG trouble , (esp deep )rough very well. BUT for me..., they dont have that killer zap to them. my more dynamic small wedges do. like th marus or fourteens or even t he SCOR. by that i mean i dont get them to go zinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng pow. curve right with heat. and stop an inch form the flag. that said tho i do them to go bascially where they are told but i never think i m gonn chip in with them , nor get them uber close. and that. for me . lies the dliema. thye never make mistakes like my smaller ones can..... but they also DONT get as close as i can with the others. the bolds are heavy big and clunky in comparison but they are SO So easy to play i stil think for a conforming wedge set these are hard to beat for spin accuracy and asy of play. and if i had to have just 2 sets of wedges at this time id have these plus one of my my cheat wedge sets.. but having so many wedges these prob wudnt get airtime but for the fact they are new. i wil ldef send a set back to oz to live bec that thin sole is really really good for clipping clean off hard pan. and in shiiiiiiity wind with monaccos in em they hardly get of the ground. for me.., they do have a big advantge here when just getting onto a putting surface some days is worth the entry price alone. yea im for them for sure.. BUT as a substitute .. they wont be my gamers.

rebuild for mid/late 50s guy
cheers steve..., i thought thats as well ,bec he can play.... but the orange ithink will be too hard as he gets older hes going the EPON 302 heads i did some looking at all NS shafts after a recomendation of SP brown form anothe site. and they see mto be a decent option. then i looked at he specs of the modus 120 and 130 130 i think will be too heavy soon. althougth they aret THE smootheset shafts ever. then i looked at 120 and they go lower which wont work going forward. if anyone has played t he SP bron or red. then let me know the 1050 were another that sprung out 106 gram very stable high flight beautiful feel hard to go past NS shafts really............., .
