Had my favourite Hiro Matsumoto MG8 refurbished
supo replied to Duffer19's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
u sent htis back to HM. how long did it take and cost ? did they have many options. ive tried speaking to the mama. and . well. its difficult............... to say the least. shes lovely but impossible to convey my wants ,hence isent mine to other services. -
well...... i gave it a wagggle. which as we all know is THE ultiamte test for a driver. numbers and inmpact aside.. the waggle is key..! it looks much more triangluar than the original. but a rounded triangular shape. i thought this was suited to guys the like a bigger head than a comapct one , its looks much fuller all round than the d1 ....to me....... i guess its going to be higher as well bec of that flattening triangle back. im sure it wont be as low as the original. which will suit some not others. my initla l thougths were . hmmmmmmmmmmm this prob isnt for me. bec of its size , im shrinking my heads. (hahaha) but after a cpl of waggles and the look of it at address with the high toe i kinda thought yea i cud do some of this..... ill def get one.

yea.. i was crook as roock -wood (thats aussie for sick) saturday. heavy week at work, hair tends to have a mind of its own! but his new ryoma made me smile tho..., .its gonna sell a quite a few id think. ilike the shape it kind of sits up like high toe low heel. looks like a draw bias shape but not the face, thats dead square. it looks like a much longer body than the previous models. like a full 460 cc head they incorporated the bulbous tail into a freeer flowing shape. that power tail is included in the desing, it looks like a Normal driver now. its wil suit a lot of guys tastes i think. looks easier to hit that the D1.

me , they were mine. best of the miura range. the sb-02 are thinner longer sharper tools the sb-01 are fuller thicker versions. ( i think thats theright) way round...) played both for a decent time. i originally preferd the 02s for some strange reason. then went back to the 01s. just didnt have them set up quite how i liked. found the 5002 and i kinda hit them better, so i playing them now. buti think the sb-01 are the mack daddies. feel of them is incredible.

im ok for drivers ,the 435 can go to DR bruce... mines perfect as is. -
i spent 2 hours with the NS rep yesterday at the show taking about the new modus 130. and the new regio shafts he showed me eveything in comparriosn the modus3. the differnces in the steel tapering inside thickness. and the fist thing that is unbelievably noticeable is the first step in the shaft. when u see it u think masively taught. crayzily low board like but it plays nothing like that imassured. a small number of palyers are already gaaing it on tour and its won 3or 4 times already. the feaures of it are very low spi,n high luanch that doesnt balloon .orfall over dead. more arcing. somewhere in between the ns 1150 and the sp orange from what i gather. meat to be a very smooth shaft .NOT soft ,ad NOT board like. veyr thin tip. mid strenth and soft tbutt.giving a nice smooth feel. cant wit to get them installed next week, .. will have the 6 iron ready to pay by tuesday. really loking fwd to these at 124 gram they are neither too heavy nor light suggestd a nice set of blades that launch not on the high side. think i know just what to stick them in..............

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh another blade runner..., miura............ ism stand alone for all over perfection in his range. theres a brillinat post by a member ara selia a while back that showed the best comparion on his irons. so i wont even try and go there just read his post is in a class of its own. maybe somone(everyone) more tech savy than i can post this again ,its well worth a read tourstage............. all blades form TS are top of the pops for performance. all very thin top line , tiny off set. all made for the best ball strikes , bec the sweet spot isnt what ud call big. but lie another spot we all seek (?) when its found the smile u get .well its the golfing equivalent. the feel as chris mentioned is much firmer than the other names. noticebly so. the 2011 model 905 x-blades were ( are ) the best set of blades for design ive ever seen. and they paly like they look, just firm............... yonex ezone..................... i took these out today. tiny head ,thinest top line ,slightyl longer blades ala the yamaha look, but super aggressive to hit to a minisule spot. where ever that may be. like the yururi flatbacks, u wont be breaking any distabce records with them, and like the tourstage they are abit firmer , but these are made my kyoei. these dont appeal to a lot of guys. but theones that aply them know they are the realdeal for scoroing. agaian if ur after soft as a babies bum blades . these aint them. but they are right in my best sets. they are actualy easier to play than a lot of others despits thier size and thickness. yururi covered. srixon.............. the new blades not sure of thier name are rediculously soft. simialr design to the romaro but slightly differnt. these re as soft as the epons but they kinda lack some oomph that sperates them . or rather distinguishes them. the old pro -100 from a few years back have a better differntiation than he new ones. and the are easier to play. i prefer the older ones to the new. yamaha....... plenty of info already on current threads there. mizuno, ull ahve to ask mizzzy guys. not played them enough to formulate an opinion of worth. epon af tour....................simplest blades ever made . end of story.
