...with the same shaft, the comp is very close to the 510tp...maybe 1/2* lower. So if I play a 9.5 in 983K, should I play a 10.5 in 510 TP or Comp? Thanks (Sorry for threadjacking) :o if you play a 9.5 in the 983k, you probably want a 9.5 510tp and a 10.5 r7 and either a 9.5 or a 10.5 cleveland comp !!!

i find the comp one of the drivers least likely to hook, even the retail heads are square to open faced model, some guys can hook anything, but the comp is definitely a straight shooter and long and forgiving as well, i find it a bit hollow feeling but no driver is perfect !!!! as far as retail clubs go this thing is a bomber The same goes for the 580xd tp, it is a very long and straight club, when pured, it is as long as the comp but the comp is going to have a distance avg advantage, they both feel and look about the same...the 580xd is slightly easier for me to square up at address and it is slightly straighter, it does not like to fade or draw, your basic straight shooter !!!
