i have a mint new G5 shafted with the fujikura 555 shaft in stiff flex tipped half an inch...it is 45.75" and swings out at d9.......i left it long and heavy so there would be room left to trim !!!! the fujikura is the 24kt gold ion plated shafted......it transitions from gold to silver near the tip and has fujikura tour spec graphics in gold and platinum and white

damn....tourstage makes some good irons, i have owned the ts202, very very nice, and the ts201s are just as nice....the x5000 was a sweet club, and so was the xblade,mr23 blade, but my all time favorite was the mr23 cb, and i just picked up a set of tourstage viq......there is definitely more offset than i prefer but the feel is super solid.....it feels exactly like the mr23 cbs, but enlarge the sweetspot by 150% !!!!! they are as forgiving as the ts202s and i can move them a bit too !!!!! they are in the bag right now !!!!

Hey R, Are you sure you have the 6054? not 6064? The 6064 was M.W's shaft at her high 120's swing speed. I also know others with SS of above 115mph getting killer results and major distance with the 6064. If you move up a flex it would be the 6068. Check out the fitting board: oops you are right...it is the 6064...i have no complaints about the shaft, it hits some bombs and is very smooth, i like a bit more weight under my hands and i put some lead tape near the grip and the driver is now my gamer ........however if i was to buy another shaft, it would be a slightly heavier axiv !!!!! i always like to tinker !!!!!

i have the axiv 6054 in my r5tp 10.5 deg.....the shaft has been tipped about 1.5" and it plays pretty loose......it does hit some bombs but if i had to do it again i might go a bit heavier..ive got a small roll of lead tape under the grip to give this setup some heft !!!!....my swing is about 108-115 but i prefer stiff in my woods and 6.0px or soft stepped 1150 in my irons !!

yoiks....i think i like the MR23 US spec CBs much better !!!!!!!!

im installing a set of 1150 xflex in a brand new set of mr23 CBs......im gonna soft step these puppies because i heard they are stout !!!.....ummm does anybody have a set of stiff and want to trade my xstiff ???? :smile2:

ummm....im a bit confused...are you guys comparing the nippon 1150 xflex to the dgs 300 ???? i have a set of nippon 1050 in xflex at home but i prefer the feel of s400 and projectx 6.0.....is this shaft going to be too stiff for me ?????

come on now...if phil and ernie and retief and vijay can play shafts that we can get our hands on, it is plausible to believe that the matte blue diamana that tiger is using is the same as retail !!! it is tipped quite a bit...if you look at the flower band, you can se it is like 4" from the grip.....an untipped matte blue diamana will be only 2-2.5" from the grip....it appears that tiger's shaft is trimmed only from the tip....since he needs about 43.25" to make it play 45" in a 460, im guessing the shaft is tipped 2.5"

WOW...that vega blade is super sweet....very clean lines but ill bet a lot of technolgy can be found inside the metal !

actually he is correct....this is a tough place to sell anything but a great place to buy....the guys on this site are tighter than the skin on a hotdog !!!! they wont buy anything unless they can turn a profit on it after playing it for a year !!!!! ( hehe this comment does not count the first class singapore golf club hos !!!! :smile1: )

those irons bend quite easily and do not have any problem with chrome cracking or stretching...that is truly a good set of irons....i go through about 20-25 sets of irons every year to try out the latest and greatest but i always come back to the mr23 CBs !!!!!

if they are in 9/10 or better condition, that is a very good price and if they are new.....the price cannot be beat.....however if they are in 8/10 cond....its an average price !
