Playing off the deck primarily means low profile. I have not tried the yamaha but the egg is very easy off the deck. I have tried both egg models. Just as important is the shaft. What flex did you end up with cb46?

1:29 there's some kind of a switch? 1:36 it also picks up the oily smear top right side of the pile.. as if the whole thing is sitting on plastic. If it is real then its one awesome invention.

Is that in any particular order J? which is the favourite? AF302 seem to pop up a fair bit too..

Hey Shambles, Players cavity to me is like the Yamaha Tours,905s as opposed to the Yamaha D series. Basically almost same size as blades but still has that cavity/perimeter weighting. Eye 2s seem to pop up all the time, must be a areal great set. I like my mp68 but need to change my shaft as it goes too high. At the same time i am really hungry for some JDM irons so i thought a players cavity that I can rotate with the mp68.

Thats an awesome result C. Must be a real good fit this time around with flex & head. Not to mention yummy looking set :)

I havent used the sigma but the weight 'for me' seem ideal as a fw shaft. Sounds like for a controlled 3w performance whilst the fw80 which i have tried gives you that extra Kick. Email or PM Tario your details coz he fits Crazy shafts very well.

You hit a few bad putts and lose confidence and start really focusing on what you are doing. Fear of missing that shortish putt. Then you get a new putter. Which will be very different design from your old one. Then you start thinking more of its different design, different feel and stop thinking so much about your technique. Then you start putting better. Then a few weeks later you get so used to it. Then you find yourself at the beginning of this paragraph. The you switch to your old putter hehe... vicious cycle.

Hello, Those yamaha v tours are like wracking my brains. I have not seen any user/member reviews. But if you are buying a players cavity, which is the pick? Doesn't have to be the most current model. Thanks Eric

Hey B, im in the same boat hence my previous post re KBS c Taper & NS SP Blue etc.

Try demoing high 70s low 80s shaft. I think the fw80 is in the mid70s & Stew who has a power swing loves it.

I just checked specs, if your a stiff user & at your hcp, a 66g fwy shaft maybe too light..

Umm maybe doest suit u, too light? Quite hard to fill this part of the bag.

Driver shaft when installed in a fwy wood generally require some tipping otherwise tip will be too soft resulting in higher flight and high spin. Most will require a 1/2" tipping at the least.

Good luck C, sounds like ur loving the proto so it makes sense to try this experiement. I found it hard to fill. Even the current one which I had proven to myself to be the best one I have owned, I still contemplated selling. I just don't practice with it & don't hit it enough during a round. And when you do pull it out, it's normally Crunch time, & if u hit it bad then it's like ahhh your getting sold!! Only to come back next game & give me 3 birdies.. Fun of golf.

I have hit the Fw80 & md7 & they are great shafts. Didn't quite unseat my ilima 80s. Are you using the fubuki fwy aftermarket shaft?
