Please post pics of your GF putter in this thread, I'm sure everyone would love to see what you have as well.

  5. I will post mine when I get it. Maybe we can create a "Gold's Factory Putter" thread so that TSG members can post pics of their GF putters as well. I'd be interested to know what everyone has or have.
  6. I always wondered how that PZ milling face was done before, it looks simple but it seems to involve a very delicate process. That deep and consistent milling in the face is what I really wanted in a putter right now and I'm glad they made that available with Gold's. In fact that's the only thing I wanted on top of my desired specs, and stampings. I hope mine will turn out great......
  7. Not exactly like that but yes I have ordered a custom Gold's Factory putter! Btw, thanks to Tario for helping me out on this one.
  8. This is really what ..never ending desire to try new cool stuff? First time I've heard these mods on wedges and irons, thought they are only available with putters. I feel like I want to hit those irons and wedges now!
  9. +1 after that great experience with Romaro H's irons, might as well add & replace my long serving Epon 901 too but same question type R or iBrid?

Too bad Stew, but did they tell you that the material will be available sooner or later on your preferred head? Which head is it if you don't mind me asking....

That's not long, man you will be gaming the best of the best putter in the planet in about 6 weeks? I see what you mean, I went to THP and he is indeed very creative. Look at this, a lizard in a premium zone face mill. and a lizard sight

That's going to be a stunning putter. I like the head and finish you've choosen - couldn't imagine how good that is to play with. How long is the waiting period to complete the order? I have a couple of putters I'm keeping, so I might add a Lajosi as well. What do you think about the Damascus steel?

Version 2: This version is a hand milled ultra deep tuna face milled, naked sole, and a dot sight. Not sure about the finish but thinking of either a PVD black or a brush blue oil. Any suggestions on stampings, much appreciated.

Sorry to hear about that, I will probably do the same thing as you did. But my experience was completely different, they responded well to my inquiries got short answers but good enough for me to understood them. Initially, I hesitated to put together a design concept because I don't know anything about this but after talking with Steve I got encouraged to start working on it he's been helpfull all the way, I only heard Lajosi here in the forum the project that edgolf did before, I'm based in Sydney so I guess guys in Melboune knew him more. I like his putters though and if he will do all the drawings kinda stuff I prefer that way unlike byron you have to do it yourself, anyway I learned how to use my pre-installed adobe on my laptop lol. One of the reason I'm leaning with Byron is that they offer GSS metal, I've been eyeing this a long time ago. Do you know if they offer this also the GSS at Lajosi? Btw, which head and material have you chosen, pretty sure that would be a great build.
  15. OMG! Putters YES, drivers oh nooooooo :)

Just finished Byron's DH89 template and thinking of sending this through...any thoughts? Version 1:
  17. thanks for that nob-san.
  18. Anyone?
  19. Pretty good deal with Romaro head too, someone get this quickly!
  20. friend guess you've mentioned you're hitting it down so i thought your swing might be a bit steep. have tried different swing styles with the F3 before and figured that you get better result with a shallower swing, you get good contact and almost automatic the ball will go up quickly whilst a steep angle of attack is the opposite the result is pretty bad for me, can't get up the ball and direction usually on the left. I do this by having a low takeaway to get that wide arc and then sweep it. If you learn how to hit this properly maybe you will become like me, you can't take this out of your bag.
  21. What is the metal they used for the GF stock no. 2 putter? Thanks for any info.
  22. Mark, I think steep swing doesn't work that much with the Ryoma F3, try to sweep it clean a shallow swing works best with a bigger head.

Nice stick! What config did you end up to especially the balance pt & weights? How long did you wait Sent from iPhone5
  24. Only tried the Proto model. I fell in love when I first tried it with the Cally X Hot FW because of that smooth feel & kick, I'll hit that thing all day.
  25. Try the QFex Proto FW. It does feel very smooth & controllable, I prefer this over FW80.
