BALLS................!
A few months back a fellow golfer gave me a sleeve of Kasco Kira and I must say I like it a lot. The feel is similiar to a ProVx but the distance is long with good green side spin. Problem is not available near me and wish I'm in Japan like you Stew...

FS: SYARD GTS 4-PW True Temper Monaco Stiff
Damn... if I only don't have so many sets of irons sitting around, I would've pick this up in a heart beat. If you're willing to split, I'm interested in the shaft...

Playing AF-302, need 2nd set of iron suggestions
OnOff 2013 modle would be my suggestion.

Fitting by CPM?
CPM fitting don't work for me as a lot has to do with how aggressive you get at the ball.... IMO a proper fitting or understanding of your swing will help selecting a suitable shaft. Or in my case, experiment with different shafts to find one that suite you... But that's been getting kinda expensive lately so I'm sticking to what works for me (for now anyway)

JDM Gear Realistic Setup
I don't play a full bag of JDM the same brand too but if I would, my pick would be OnOff as they have decent drivers and wood, amazing irons and ok wedges and putter. Another decent pick would be RomaRo as they have a great line going from drivers, woods to irons.... Honma also seems to be back on the right track with their TW series of drivers, woods and irons... Not sure about their wedges thou'

My Experience Trying Honma's Tour World TW717M
Yes I've hit the TW717 a while back when they had a demo and the feel is solid. Love the look at address too..... However still love the feel of my OnOff and Yururi flatback more...

Resale value of irons
Stay with the main stream brands and resell value won't drop too much. Avoid custom as much as possible....

Honma TW717M ( Muscle Back )
+1 on forgiving and great feeling. Hit the demo late last year shaft with a NSPro950 and was easy to hit and feels almost as soft as my Yururi flatback raw. Could be the NSPro 950 shaft that's giving it this 'soft' feel but love the look and the overall playability of the iron. Almost got myself a set that day.....

Add me to the list....
I've tried the Egg 1st and 2nd generation and now XV is firmly in my bag. Ball launch from egg is more penetrating and also too easy to hit it thin (for me anyway) due to the very light head. I've also tried Ryoma F3 but it's just too big and for me XV is spot on in terms of size, feel and forgiveness...

Made in Japan by SAKATA ( 50 reasons )
I've hit their TW series last year and must say it feels as good as other forged irons out there...
