As for my 3 wood, I am attached to my 2008 Japan model Taylormade VSteel ( one with the screw on weight on the sole ) I was not excited at first, but after I re-shafted with an ,again older model, Rombax Prototype 80C and installed with an angled ferrule from Golfsmith to make the face be more open. Well, this really changed how it hits. I have tried at least three different newer model 3 woods since then, ( JBeam FX-BM, Adams XTD Ti Super fwy, Tour Edge CB4 Tour ) but none have replaced the Vsteel. I also know that quite a few JGTO Pros still carry Vsteel .... which is encouraging to know that I am not alone :)

Thanks for the additional info Gocchin! Let us know what you find out with their clubs. Especially around quality. I got an email back yesterday from them saying that they do not do head only sales due to safety reasons.

Looked up some more info about their clubs, they actually may be OEM'd by a company called Fujimoto Gikoh in Hyogo , Japan. http://www.fujimotogikoh.co.jp/freepage_18_1.html I do see the two models made with SS400 in their line up. The one with the inner airpocket (Z-01), though the company claims that it retains the feel of traditional MB, users somewhat disagree. A few users of M-01 ( the non air pocketed version ) do mention that SS400 has the best feel of all MBs that they played in the past. really tempted to find out more about this SS400 carbon steel.

T... Tae, I was gonna to keep it a secret!! lol just kiddin!! They actually have two types of MBs. One is a more traditional looking MB, the M-01 which they claim as slightly forgiving than traditional MBs. Then they have the Z-01 which are the No.1 irons in Rating Gate in the low to mid handicappers irons group. This model has a small air pocket internal to the muscle which increases the sweet spot significantly. They claim that these are significantly easier to hit than traditional MBs without sacrifice in feel. They also hold a patent for this air pocket construction made with one piece construction as opposed to two piece construction of most other air cavity irons. All made in Japan from raw steel material ( SS400 carbon steel made by Kobe steel ) to assembly. I am waiting for a response from them on whether they can sell head only. Looks like they only have direct sales route at this time.

You mean the No Brainer? Latest release from Steve Almo of Geek Golf . They are pretty popular among Long Drive Contest. I wanted to try this for the weight, 206g , in fact I tried it with the FW80 I got from you Supo. I could not get enough height with my trajectory unless I really slammed on the gas.

Just picked these up a few weeks ago. I am staying with my '08 Vsteel. JBeam FX BM 14* 3 wood and 18* 5 wood both with Matrix F7m2 Stiff Both are in good condition but 14* has small scuff where crown meets the toe. SOLD!!

I played it in a 910D3 , it was recommended to be tipped 0.5" with the surefit adapter. It felt really good. I have never used it untipped so not sure how it compares.
