Got to meet up with and play a round with the legendary 'Craig' today. Great company, lots of fun and a chance to see a veritable chocolate factory of JDM goodness! Whatever is good, Craig has! Added to that he is a believer of using stuff (not treating it as a shrine, only to be looked at!). He lent be whatever I needed. I finally decided on a set of Buchi blades/wedges, a SPX driverCrazy shaft combo and a Crazy fairway! The putter was a custom with a Damascus insert. Craig was using a set of blades that I had never used before. The name will stay a secret but they are very hard to get, hand forged things! They had a new style Shimada shaft and custom grips! The feel was sublime and the performance was intoxicating! Great day, great company, great clubs...all one would want out of the JDM experience! Stew, I game the Steelfibre's! They are quite stiff to flex so an X flex will play...very stiff. Even tour players like Sneneker played S flex. Great shafts though! Just my opinion. Pete

Without wanting to harp on about offset etc, but given the price and the fact that the 'Personal' is the top of the range, of one of the most exclusive club makers, why doesn't Epon offer the 'personal' touch by offering a range of head designs to match a players 'personal' needs? I love the minimalist finish and I am sure that the quality and feel is second to none....but I could not use a club offset like that. They have alienated the very players most suited to blade type clubs by the hosel design! Pete

Can tell you are only a lurker on WRX Stew. You don't hit it 310 on the fly (and still play off 14) with 124mph driver speed! What grind btw on the 74*? :)

Sorry Boys, with greatest respect, if you need that much offset there are better irons for you than blades! I like the minimalist look but I would miss every shot left (or at least feel like I would) with those things. Miura MB001's for me I think

Also, Did you glue the grip on or blow it on?

This is the shaft in question. Notice the small Bridgestone title on the right. Otherwise the shaft looks like a 'ion' Kai'Li.

Is it face balanced Antz? I.E. Any toe hang?

Bought a JDM Shaft some time ago. The shaft has the same colour scheme as the after market item. This one has a small (Bridgestone) moniker on it as it came from a Bridgestone Tourstage driver. Would this be a made for or the real deal! Lots of OEM clubs come with 'made for' and tend to be a lesser quality than the after market version. ie. sold to the club company at a cheaper price. Would a JDM company do this? Any thoughts? Pete
