No love for Honma?
Honma is still popular and around in the golf market, but I think there are so many new JDM companies and equipment coming out with just unbelievably good quality and appearance that it they get pushed off to the side. Everyone likes the "up and coming" and "latest and greatest" stuff. Honma has forged clubs like the S-02s, but it kind of gets mixed in with alot of their cast irons and don't have the "fresh looks" as some of the newer stuff coming out.

The Skinny on the New VG3's by Titleist!
I can see how better players (even tour players) can appreciate the VG3s. It has a great soft feel, (especially with Modus3) and it is very very forgiving. It's like eating chips on the couch! Consistent launch out of various lies and good distance. It does give up some workability compared to a more compact "player's style" irons, but maybe worth giving up for making the game that much easier??? Alot of players seem to think so. I'm still deciding. lol

New Srixon Z Series Forged Irons and Woods - Pics and Discussion
The forgiveness is made to top previous Srixon sets. Especially the 525 and 725. The 725 design is what alot of better players are switching to, from their pure blade sets. It still has the compact design and workability, but a noticeable boost in forgiveness. Now for the 525, it has forgiveness written all over it! The average player seeking maximum forgiveness while having the soft feel would love it. The 525 may be a top runner when it comes to forgiving irons with feel.

You Ask We Listen! The Official RomaRo Thread!!!
Romaro produces some great quality. Workability is and feel that is reliable and consistent. Even with the cavity backs (Ray V) you almost forget that it is a cavity back at address. All sets up very solid and definitely makes you feel like a "player", even with all the technology that adds forgiveness.

epon personals .., all grass conditions.
Man, looks like you found yourself a match...That is until something else catches your interest ;) But nothing beats taking a solid divot, then watching the ball settle near the hole!

Yururi Raw vs Satin
I experienced a similar "sticky" feel with the raw. I also love the raw looks, just keep it dry and it should maintain its finish fine. Both heads produce great spin, but I think the Raw had a bit more zip! (maybe its in my head, but I think its true) lol

New Driver
I like the jBeam 425 tour or jBeam/Crazy 435. Very low spin and penetrating flight. Should work good with your swing speed.
- Help me spend my money on a new iron set.

EPON AF-103 unboxing....
Nice comparison pic with the Ping. I've yet to test the 103's. The 460cc that looks like a 415cc head, sounds great. I assume it will be easier to try an work the ball with the compact appearance. It's probably in my head but i noticed that I'm able to work the ball with confidence with the smaller looking heads... even if it's actually 460cc.

Some New Stuff at TSG! 10-8-2012
There will be times, but it's rare for the really quality items worth you money. Usually the really popular JDM stuff sell out! Even for older models, there is a very high demand. Once you start playing some JDM stuff, you'll understand why they sell out or in such high demand. The quality, performance, details, etc... Amazing stuff out there!

Romaro Ray V Irons?
The Romaro Ray V's aren't my current gamers, but I can give you a few thoughts. Like all the Romaro line of irons they are very soft and consistent feeling and have been gaining popularity. It even has a soft sound! If that makes sense to ya. I noticed that the V's are very good for distance and forgiveness. I'd say half a club longer than my normal distance. It'll produce a high and strong trajectory and especially great from the rough. Well balanced and cuts though the deep stuff well, without it being caught. I'd say it appeals to a wide range of players. It's a good consideration for better players looking for a forgiving set without giving up workability. And the average player that is looking to keep improving and maybe transition into some blades in the future. It's a bit harder to keep really low (if you plan to play in really high winds, but who wants to do that!?) :)

Romaro 435LX Driver?
The 435 is very solid feeling. Not the softest feeling driver but you can feel the consistency and stability through every shot. Off center hits are surprisingly forgiving too. It seems the compact head does not twist or or turn on shots hit a bit on the toe or heel. It produces a very flat trajectory with low spin, but can easily be worked in both directions. Shaft is ofcourse a big part of a driver, but definitely made to suit the faster swing players.

Buchi Gol MB and Wedges - traditional looking blades with slight forgiveness?
Interesting clubs. I'm not too familiar with Buchi, but will have to do some research about this company. Looks like they pride themselves in the hand forged and grinding process by their master grinder. Will do some research about this company. New project for me. :)

New Srixon Z Series Forged Irons and Woods - Pics and Discussion
I can't wait to get a hold of one of these. Srixon's producing some good looking clubs! and the new JISs20c...sounds like a champ! The material should make this thing feel like butter. And very consistent across the face and not harsh at all, even on slight mis hits.
