  1. Japan is detail and quality oriented US is price oriented. That's just how the culture is. Pros and cons on both ends.
  2. Great device. Consistent and true numbers. You can see if your local shop has jacked up fitting devices :)
  3. Def consider Diamana x. It never goes left and is great especially if tou have a pretty aggressive swing.
  4. Yup. When you get properly fitted premium quality clubs you will be so much better off. Usually end up keeping it in the bag longer so in the long run I believe you spend about the same if not more if you just look for bargains. Also gives you a piece of mind that you got the best stuff:)

The hot lists are not that great in reviewing quality. A lot of American clubs such as the ap2 are hyped up in Japan and people vote for them. Jdm stuff are usually higher quality if you research into it. Titleist does a great job marketing the us models in Japan.

They feel solid! I love how they look. You will love it if you like playing it like your fairway woods. Heads are very easy to control and great for longer grass too. Cuts right through.

The bb is solid. It produces a low penatrating flight, but you don't have to work as hard as other low trajectory shafts. Feels very stable in your hands.
  8. Rbz is a good head but the stock shaft is not up to standard for a distance club.

The pp grip is solid. It has a firm feel with great feedback to your hands. I don't like my grips too soft.
  10. I'd say the sigma launches a bit higher but it is easy to control if you want to keep it low. I love the 12.5 degree. Easy to hit off tee and great for the extra few yards when going for par 5s!

The Diamana x will have very low spin but you def need to work at it to get the trajectory. Crazy is easier to handle. But if u don't like left Diamana will never go there.
  12. Both are really good as far as feel and looks. I'd say vokey is a bit softer but fourteen is way more zippy. Especially on full swings.
  13. Fresh graphics and added good karma for your game for supporting a cause:) lol
  14. Royal collection always has a solid set up. But I really like the titleist vg3, a bit more forgiving.
  15. I just love the finish and looking at these putters. Great soft feel for those tight and fast greens.

Nice set up. That diamana x will not turn on you. Very very stable and straight. Harder to turn the ball with it than to hit it straight
  17. Great choice! I love the consistent soft feel of these heads. I think a higher swing weight or even individually weighted option brings out the most in feel:)
  18. The Boron was producing a not so bad launch for me but was just producing way too much spin for me. It is a good shaft if you are looking to get easy height on the ball though, no matter what part of the face I tried hitting it on, the ball seemed to get some spin and get in the air quick. LS Noir was feeling good, but I wasn't consistent with it as with the cb 46. With the ls noir, I was turning the ball too much to the left on my misses.
  19. A lot of numbers have to match up to get maximum difference. Taka pro has a good flat trajectory with low spin. Sometimes I hit it shorter with my fastest swing speed than my average. A lot has a lot to do with spin rate and trajectory. Of course having a fitted shaft and head combination for your swing type makes a really big difference on your numbers.
  20. Very stable shaft and make sure to warm up before using:). Great for aggressive swingers. It will be difficult to get any trajectory under 90 mph swing speed.
  21. The DB Milled was not hefty at all. Overall club weighting if eels very similar to the forged model. I liked the smaller and sharper looks of the DB Milled, especially thr Tour Grind model!
  22. It was really interesting how both myself and Taka-san got more consistent with a softer shaft than recommended. I think a lot may do with the fact that we were concentrating on smoothing our swings with the softer shafts which gave us a more consistent tempo. But I do have to add; Taka-san did well with the R-flex which was kind of a shock because he has such a high swing speed. From this fitting, it looked as though the more aggressive swinger will become more consistent by swinging a little softer shaft. Even the softer flexes on Crazy shafts stay very stable throughout the swing, even at high speeds such as Taka-san.
  23. The most amazing part of this was watching Taka-san swing very hard at it and watching how his spin rate was able to stay very low! He produced alot of swing speed. I'd say another 10- 15 yards on juiced up launch monitors found in alot of shops!
  24. The Diamana X was a very manly shaft. Very stable and great feel. I was able to feel the club and shaft throughout the entire swing. I do have to say however, if you're not properly warmed up or don't have enough swing speed, it is very difficult to get the ball in the air. The first few swings with the shaft produced very low ball flight for me. As I warmed up it performed great! You can swing as hard as you want without worrying about the shaft keeping up with you or losing stability. It is definitely a better option for aggressive and higher swing speed players.
