  1. I'm really looking forward to trying these shafts. Just don't know with what head yet. (open to suggestions) I'm excited to see how the new technology and material changed the feel compared to the Blueboard.
  2. Some new 901s matching the Personals would be great. I'm a big fan of long irons, the 901s are really forgiving easy to shape shots. I like how easy utility clubs are to get a high trajectory, but prefer workability and feel over easy. :)
  3. Great separation of the upper and lower body! Lot's of torque and energy storage... Great angles and posture!
  4. I love those Epon 210s... But I must say I like the versatility of the Vokeys. They are very soft and great in the cold conditions, especially when you're looking for extra feel. The Romaro Alcobaca and SX wedges are also great, and spin very well, but to me it doesn't feel as soft as the Vokeys. Either way the wider sole on these will definitely allow you to to be more creative around the greens. The Epon 210's are wonderful off tight lies, but I feel they let you down a bit in deeper rough or bunkers.
  5. Tourstage.. in the bright yellow! :)

I love the traditional and compact appearance. Excited to see how it preforms for me. I want to give it a run with a low trajectory shaft, should be interesting.
  7. The 460 is definitely a "swing away!" type of club. Very forgiving and the ball gets up no matter where you hit it on the face. It's not ideal for those looking to work the ball all the time, but I guess its a driver so... Drive for show! lol
  8. The HiCor drivers definitely make a huge difference with higher swing speeds. It really is a giant boost to distance. I know the only problem is that Hi Cor drivers are made mostly to benefit the average to slower swing speed players... Kamui Ray is a good driver for the high swing speed player who whats to blow away their playing partners! ;) Its very workable for such a low spin head too.
  9. Great stuff. Crazy has amazing facilities, wish everyone can visit and see for themselves! I could just stay there all day hitting balls. :)
  10. That face insert looks awesome! I like that raw appearance of the neck to head area. "a real prototype"!! :)

Those blades are definitely my style! And interesting paint job on the egg.. Would be interested to find out how it affected your swing or game. If it did at all. Love it! Tats
  12. Hmm. I've played in very cold weather before and seemed like I had no problems. I'll try to find out what the exact numbers are for a risk of snapping, but I find that very unlikely to happen. As long as you're making contact with somewhere on the face it should be fine. If its snapping due to cold weather, your body might be too frozen to swing anyways. Lol. :)

  14. LOL.. Awesome! It's shelter and a healthy lunch in one! The Hong Kong Golf Club looks like it's in great shape.
  15. I'm excited to see the NSX coming back to life, but I do like the sharper looks of the older body! The new one is cool looking, but don't like to rounded space ship look. lol
  16. That copper head looks clean! I've always liked dark/ black finishes on heads, but the copper finish looks more and more appealing every time I see them. How was that putter? Im interested in hearing what you have to say about it.

Awesome set up by the way! And I agree, as much as I like the easy to use utility clubs. Nothing beats a pure contact with a long iron! What set up did u use for your hybrids? More pics?

The Egg7 is definitely designed with the more aggressive swingers in mind. Those of you considering the Diamana X shaft is right in the ball park. Its a very low spinning head off of anywhere on the face so some swing speed is need to make it work. The good part about the Egg7 is that it won't let the ball balloon in the air. Its a line drive to slightly, nose diving trajectory which is a major plus if you play in dry conditions!

It's supposed to be a higher launch head. Should produce a little more spin and have added forgiveness. This one places more emphasis on easy launch and forgiveness rather than workability and control like the Zero.
  20. Im going with. Epon, Yamaha, Tourstage, Romaro, and Yururi
  21. I love that sound the Egg 7 makes. Its always refreshing to hear as I usually prefer a softer sound and feel. I like change things up once in a while. It's like hitting a ceramic baseball bat! Good or bad? you decide. One drawback I see is that it won't match the sound and feel with rest of the set, if that's the only "ceramic bat" sounding thing in the bag. And the Tourstage 12.5* FW. Its the one for those of you who have though about going driver off the deck. :)

This one might be the one driver I was looking for! I know it'll feel good, but the I hope it has waaay more forgiveness than the Zero! Interesting how it looks like a high launching head, aimed for better players. I'd try it with a low launch shaft, that'd be interesting.
  23. That's interesting. Maybe the shaft and head combo was not the right fit for you. Most JDM drivers are really soft, especially the forged ones. I know that sound is a big part of feel, some drivers may have an enhanced sound which makes it feel like it is hard, or harsh to some people. But all in all, the quality of JDM drivers are so much higher than typical US drivers and they are softer and more consistent in feel across the face. The right combination of shaft and head will definitely make it worth the extra change!
  24. Those wedges are very different in design. I still think the vokeys are number one! ;) The Labospec wedge is great for heavy and thick grass. I find it a little thick for those tight lies you want to nip at. Vokeys are very versatile and easy to use in any situation. Although the Labospec will be way more forgiving out of the thick stuff due to the mass of the head, I feel vokeys are more practical for everyday rounds.
  25. I like the stand bags and the ShinRyu (dragon design) Caddy Bag! Looks sweet!
