  1. I've read that the GT Type S is a Epon 302 with different stamping? Don't like the GI irons. The bags on the other hand look great. Would game them no problem :)
  2. They look great. Shame Yamaha took so long to produce another set of blades. GLWS
  3. That looks like a STEALTH BOMBER. Never hit one but it looks awesome. GLWS
  4. The clock is ticking......... GLWS Ray
  5. From what you've posted, I think it's the buyers problem and not yours. You haven't highlighted the face angle. In the link Tario describes the face angle as "pretty much square", but that's only Tarios opinion, and if you scroll down further on the PRGR listing, it shows that the face angle is +1, which means its closed right? So some people will see it closed but some people will see it as pretty much square. Well that's what I think anyway. Good luck.
  6. .....and which driver do you prefer?
  7. You put this shaft in your Yamaha? Apart from the low launch, what were the other playing characteristics mate?
  8. Come on Tom, lets have some piccies.
  9. Great bag. Can we have some more close-ups of the iron heads please.....and dayuum that is a deep face. Looks similar to the K-PX. I think we need a FACE OFF!
  10. It certainly seemed to, so I'll stick with it. I'll compare them to the Quadra graphite shafts I've played before; After 1 game I'd say the best thing about them is their dispersion, it's very good. Better than the Quadra. The Roddios are a stiffer flex and they do feel fimer, which gives me confidence to 'go after it' if I need too. Roddios felt heavier too. The Quadras felt softer and were definitely a club length longer. This would be down to a combination of stronger lofts (Yamaha Tours) and weaker flex. Maybe the Yamahas are a softer forged head than the Srixons, because at times I felt that the Srixons were 'clicky'. Overall I'm very pleased with the Roddios Steve. They won't be going anywhere. I think I'll have to buy a softer head to get my perfect set, maybe another Yamaha head or maybe Epon. We'll see.
  11. Definitely give it a try Dale. You might be able to keep up with me then........ ;)
  12. Played yesterday. Shot 88 with a 5 putt ( yes, a 1 2 3 4 5 putt!) on the 3rd and a treble bogey on the last. Damn it. Driving was very good for my standard, and overall the long game was good. Short game was where I lost shots. Does anyone else hover the driver above the ground? I practiced this at the range the day before and it worked on the course yesterday. I'll definitely do this from now on.
  13. Hahahahahaha check MBBG reply. Nike Machspeed driver to beat all JDM drivers
  14. What is the Nike and Matrix combo closest to regarding JDM drivers?
  15. What don't you like about them idrive?
  16. Bad workman an all that. Hahahahahaha
  17. I've just gamed my 21* and 24* Mizuno driving irons and they were better than my equivalent 3i and 4i off the tee and out of the short rough. I suggest you get the 18* and try it out. My model should be cheap enough off fleabay for you to test before going for a more expensive or up to date driving iron.
