  1. Ok then guys. Priced to sell at $160 + shipping. http://www.tourspecgolf.com/crazy-regenesis-cb-80ls-shaft
  2. Great prices. For those that don"t know, the Yamaha 4.6v is AWESOME.
  3. The Quadra driver shaft is awesome. As long as anything but really tight with it. Great feel too. I can really go after it with this shaft, which I love to do :) The stock shaft in the 5w is too loose and will need to be changed (anyone have a Quadra FEX going spare?). I definitely can't step on this one. Surprisingly the stock shaft in the hybrid is very good, and its regular flex, the same that's in the 5w. It's so good that I don't NEED to change it.........Great mid to high flight with good distance and dispersion. Another surprise are the Bassara iron shafts. These also defy convention as they're only 74g shafts but again they hold up to whatever swing I put on them. One of THE best shafts I've gamed. Up there with Quadra and Roddio.
  4. Driver: has been a great find. Enough adjustability for those that like to mess about with lofts and weights (I have the weight kit) and it also looks great. I don't know if the face milling works or not but it looks cool. I have this set at 10* loft with a 0.5* open FA and I think slightly more upright. Great combo with the FEX shaft. 5w: hasn't been tested off the turf or tee as yet but I had no trouble with it off a range mat. I like the fact that it has a weight that can be changed for a lighter or heavier weight if needs be. Nice sound and feel. To be continued. 4u: hasn't been tested off the turf or tee as yet but I had no trouble with it off a range mat. I like the fact that it has a weight that can be changed for a lighter or heavier weight if needs be. Nice sound and feel. To be continued. Changed my Adams LS 5w and 4 hybrid for the above as the Adams felt dead. Possibly because of the speed slot? Burner Forged: Very good. Love the look (the main reason I bought them), feel good and are forgiving enough for me. Not as soft as OnOff Forged 2013 but very similar to Yamaha 2010/2011 Tours. Bolds: Jury is out on these. Feel is ok, spin is average at best. I haven't been in any bunkers of late so I can't tell if the 58 is any good in sand or not. Very forgiving though but they're just not exciting enough. These may be changed for other wedges over this Summer........
  5. Lack of feel. This is exactly the reason why I'm moving on my Adams LS 5w and 4 hybrid.
  6. Sorry mate but it has to be Quadra. The driver shaft I have is awesome so I want to try a Quadra in my 5w.
  7. Would really prefer x or sx, as I don't want too tip much if at all, and in the 70g range please.
  8. Shaft is untipped as far as I know. Got this in a trade from an established forum member. in mint condition with a brand new GP MCC 4plus grip in mid size and 1 wrap of tape. Trade for a Quadra driver or fairway wood shaft in either x or sx flex. Preferably the original FEX or a proto type, but any model could be ok. Please let me know if there is any tipping. Or sell at $GONE + shipping.
  9. And then the riff kicks in....
  10. Love this monologue.... "Woe to you, oh Earth and Sea, for the Devil sends the beast with wrath, Because he knows the time is short... Let him who hath understanding reckon the number of the beast For it is a human number, Its number is Six hundred and sixty six."
  11. I didn't like the X in an Adams Launch Lab head, but the exact same shaft came to life in a Yamaha V201 Tour head. One of my favourite combos ever.
  12. Woah Yammy tour combo. Someone's bought two sets of irons for that combo. Nice!
  13. Sorry man but I don't know if there's any difference between them apart from the finish. What I can say is that on the web site I bought mine from, there wasn't much difference in price between them, so save a little more cash and get the satin finish
  14. Those look sweet Hutch. Some of the older stuff does look very cool, be it jdm or usdm.
  15. I think all of your choices are good, except replace the OnOff 2009 for the 2011/2013 version, just on looks alone. I've gamed the OnOff 2013 Forged, Yamaha 2010 and 2011 V-Forged Tour Model and now game the TM Burner Forged, all with graphite shafts. I can't recommend these 4 highly enough. Possibly the OnOff is the softer feeling and is ever so slightly more forgiving of the 4, and they had Steelfibre i95' shafts. For some reason (maybe my swing has changed), the Burners with Bassara i315 stiff (74g) shafts have the lower ball-flight. Quite an eye opener. Both of the Yamaha' had Quadra 100i stiff, but the 2011 were un-tipped and had the higher ball-flight of the 4. I'd add the S-Yard GT-Type S to the list too. It's probably the least forgiving of all my recommendations, but felt great with Roddio i-10sx shafts. Nice penetrating ball-flight. Let me know if you want anymore info on the above. I play off 16 hcp. Good luck with your search, it'll be fun :)
