I have heard that Golds do tip these shafts 2 inches, not sure how true that is. Thats bloody stiff for sure..

Can i ask why you tipped it 2 inches and not installed as is un-tipped

Love my 703's, but these 705 do look pretty good. This is all i could find right now- look like they are gonna be more compact, look smaller heel-toe..

Soft feeling but not too soft. Sometimes a stout feeling shaft with a soft head is a good combination.

Alrighty lads, soon to build a set of 302's , looking for recommendations on a shaft suited for this head. I have a new set of NS PROTO 2s14 s flex which was going to be for another setup but have been thinking about putting them in the 302's. Any suggestions, also thought about the following - RECOIL PROTOTYPES SHIMADA TOUR S FLEX (GREEN LABEL) C-TAPER S+

AF-703's are superb irons, i tried them out in Glasgow. i was addicted from the first hit, very pleasant at address and i'm coming from blades which i have played with most of my days. About to order a set 5-AW with Recoil Tour SPX, going to adjust the lofts slightly to get my yardages right starting with 47* on the A wedge.

I thought that, out of the question for me then as i am straight pendulum stroke.

What type of stroke is this putter more suited towards.

Still a great price imo. This is the second set of copper AF502's i have seen to exist.

i was about to pull the trigger myself and have them sent to my home in the uk but they are just too chunky for me.
