I have an egg spoon 15* in a fubuki AX shaft which was average. Put a quadra FEX in and it was better, but still no star. Can't comment on the Ryoma D1 FW, except to say the driver is very forgiving!

Egg spoon is pretty shallow, my egg 3W is about same shallowness as a Titleist 913 5 Wood and definitely shallower than my mate's Ping G30 3W. That said it is quite a big head.

Wow was just going to suggest mp-59s with a good set of shafts. Too much for my game but would be perfect for you I reckon.Otherwise the Miura are nice and you can't go wrong. I swapped my 59s for some Passing Points and couldn't be happier.

I picked up an old set of Tourstage X1000s in graphite shafts and gotta say that hitting these make Mizuno irons feel like they are cast in comparison!

Hmmm irons design look "tired" to me. Certainly not as enticing as some of the other recent JDM releases (like Onoff)

Just played with a guy yesterday who had a set of these... Absolutely fantastic. Looks more forgiving than my Miura PP also.

How do the Vizard shafts compare in terms of stars/quality to the ARMRQ shafts? Would I be correct if they are about the same quality as the 2 star ARMRQ shafts?
