Someone buy this, its too tempting!

Jeeeeeez I read "moistened bint" then saw your profile pic. Too much excitement in this thread!

I have the 3 iron with Vizard shaft, it's more forgiving than my Miura Passing Point 5 iron and just straight out performs. Can approach any lie or tight fairways with an awful lot of confidence. Gotta say it doesn't feel great to hit though, clearly not forged and hard off the face

The best shaft companies make their own shafts

Who makes Honma's graphite shafts? They are supposedly hand-made too. -
Hand made all the way. I almost can't think of anything that is better mass-produced than hand-made by a competent professional.

JDM wedge equivalent to Cleveland CG16 wedge

I went from the CG16 wedges to Miura forged wedges and found them superior in both feel and performance -

Best current or upcoming Jspec adjustable driver
Icestorm959 replied to Mjr. D's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
R15 has a JDM version I think, though on looks I think nothing beats the Gloire F at the moment. -
Thanks for the advice! I always thought the mid section being soft improves feel, while the tip being stiff improves dispersion. Looks like I gotta start experimenting with a more uniform profile shaft.
-
Comparative, not absolute terms. i.e. the stiffness profile of the AD DI or the NS Pro Regio Formula, which gets less stiff as you go down from the butt, but increases in stiffness again close to the tip:
-
Great looking drivers. Unfortunate that none of the shafts cater to an aggressive transition that needs a tip stiffer than the midsection. Probably also why I struggle abit with my Honma driving iron also with a Vizard shaft
-
Looks awesome!

Miura Giken all the way, aesthetically much more pleasing. -

Great price, had a go at one a year back, if not for my Egg I would get this, GLWS! -
Great info. How much less forgiving is it compared to previous Gloires?

If only I was man enough for that shaft! Great price I think. -
Great, Thanks!
-
Wow I love the colour of that logo! Would be interesting to see this head to head vs the R15. Quick question are the tips that Gloire Drivers use, the same as the Taylormade US R1/SLDR/Jetspeed/R15?

Forgiving irons from the last 5 years?
Icestorm959 replied to LeftoveRRice's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Mira Passing Points feel great and are fairly forgiving.
