  3. yes, would def love to feel the difference from forged.
  4. Nice, nob, what year are these?
  5. J, so classic, I honestly think Epon set the stage for copper for iron sets. Post some recent pics if you ever get the chance.
  6. Thanks bud, range session will be in order soon once these are built so we can check out all the new gears. What if Modart could CNC a solid block of copper into a head?? hmmmm, now THAT would be something! Please do! One question tho: why not just play them to get that great patina'd look?? lol Thanks bro...yeah, we can test these against those new blades you're getting ;)
  7. Thanks K, owe it all to you buddy...you're a copper MR23 pioneer!!
  8. I agree! Which one of us is going to be the guinea pig?? Paging C!!! ;)
  9. ha, nice find! wish I could find hidden gems in my cave like that lol how bout those personals?? that would be seriously unique ;)
  10. hutch, looks like you need to send in one of those sets in your stable to TSG to get copper-fied!
  11. Mikey, those are amazing and one of the first copper sets that turned me onto the whole look. Love the Epon chocolatey copper finish!
  12. Those look sweeeeet, Craig...can't wait for mine to show that type of wear/patina. Love the purple hues coming out!!
  13. So, I've been on a bit of a copper craze lately, and while I'm not trying to buy everything in sight that has copper, it definitely piques my interest whenever I see something. I think my goal is to have a nice spare bag filled with all things copper at some point, but as the adage goes - haste makes waste - and seeing that there are now a lot more copper options for refinishing (a la TSG's sweet new refinishing service), I think I'll take my time to find the right pieces and finish for the makeover. In the meantime, I do have a project that has started all the copper hype for me, and wanted to share. Thought this might be a nice place for all us TSG members who share an interest in this lovely finish to share their goodies as well. So, without further ado, here's my current project (pre-build)...Tourstage MR23 CB's | TT Monaco X -- in COPPER!! I'll update w/ new pics once these beauties get built. I did a search and found individual threads on copper projects people had shared but nothing that collated them all for us to view and enjoy. Hopefully you guys will jump in with me and share your prizes as well!! ;)
  14. Bueller....Bueller....Bueller....anyone??? If you're at all inclined to try this sweetness, send some reasonable offers gents, I'm all ears!
  15. Is this a JDM shaft? If not, should go into the USDM BST.
  16. Is it a pro platinum-type finish or some kind of "copper" variant? And any idea about the head weight? Looks super sweet!
  17. esp after looking at your new avatar buddy! lol
  18. Option deux, hutch, seems like hitting every fairway with great feel, flight and distance to boot using a $2k combo would make the coin spent well worth it.
  19. That is actually starting to get a nice used look to it. Do you know what the actual process is to get this satin copper finish? Are the heads dipped in copper at some point then tools/chemicals used to get the soft satin texture? Also, what playing characteristics would a copper under layer add? My guess would be an event softer feel, but I'll defer to any experts.
  20. I know...hmmmm, ok, how about some motivation? Price drop to $650 (same shipping rules apply).
  21. Not sure if you're using a mobile interface, but if you're on a cpu, there is a button at the bottom when in full editor mode to add images. Once they're uploaded, you must actually select each one individually to add to post. Good luck.
  22. There are only 2 different air pressures, and this one is the same for anything above 90 mph. There is a lower air pressure for ss under 90 mph. Hope that helps.
  23. Do you or Mikey have their url or contact number?
  24. Definitely my favorite steel shaft. I agree, being heavier allows me to step on it but confident it'll be straight and consistently hard boring ball flight, while still feeling ultra smooth.
