  1. How do these compare to the Tours? Feel/finish/spin/grinds/etc...
  2. Thanks gents! Beauty of a club and a great performer but there are other things afoot that need attention.
  3. That is not a white scuff on the back, just a reflection from the pergola :)
  4. Awesome combo built here but just didn't fit my swing the best. Had it shafted with a Quadra FEX WBQ 65x, which produced a stable high flying anti-left bomber. Those that want some height and forgiveness, this would be a great driver to add to the stable! Original head cover included and gripped with a black Iomic Sticky with red cap (2 wraps) that is also near new. Head and shaft in excellent 9+/10 condition as I practiced only lightly with it and rotated it in every 2-3 holes over the course of only 2 rounds to see if it was for me. Experiment over and now it needs a new home. Asking $700 $650 - shipping in CONUS is free (those that are int'l, please PM for a shipping quote to your area). Custom head specs Head Type: USGA Conforming Real Loft: 10.0* Lie Angle: 60.0* Face Angle: 0.0* Square Head Weight: 200g Air Pressure (pressure based on driver swing speed): OVER 90mph 200kpa Crown Finish: Black Metallic Sole Finish: Black IP Shafted specs Playing Length: 45.25" Swing weight: D4 - 4.5
  5. Excellent pricing on some rarities. Would love that white i33 head cover if the combo doesn't move, but I doubt that lasts! GLWS
  6. Wow, that is a serious price break! Must resist, but GLWS!!
  7. Thanks Chris for the experiment, and thanks K for another lesson in copper. I think that is going to be the spot on test of true rust or not. Since rust is corrosive, using the cleaner and wiping would reveal what is under the finish. If it is patina on copper, it should just shine right up. Brilliant! (no pun intended ;)
  8. Chris, is it rust or patina? If it is indeed rust, then it must be a copper blend with some kind of iron oxide. Can we get more info on the finish and its makeup as i think it would be wildy popular but great to fully understand its characterisitics/properties before considering it as an option.
  9. Looks exceptional, but is it the same size as say a Ryoma FW?
  10. Dunno numbers but NDMC on drivers is perfect for torque. I also like the Perfect Pro rubber ones (non cord).
  11. I concur, 50 series is a little bigger but not quite midsize. A wrap or 2 should take care of that if midsize is your intent.
  12. Thanks K, you certainly are an expert when it comes to copper!! ;)
  13. The mirrored copper looks like a plating, whereas the copper satin looks like it might be a blend that is painted/sprayed on? Chris, can you clarify? Not sure if we have a resident metallurgist, but trying to understand how copper rusts if its a corrosion only known to iron oxides. Perhaps copper finishes for golf involve a blend of copper and other metals to keep costs in check? Anyways, not to thread jack and turn this into a metal thread, just want to understand better what "copper" finishes mean for all the different kinds we see out there in the golf world (i.e. - Epon's chocolatey brown "copper" finish)
  14. Also, is it possible to get multiple finishes on an iron...i.e. - Personals 1 has multiple finishes from the factory so if this type of club was sent it, could it be refreshed the same way and/or mixed/matched w/ these new finishes?
  15. Paging Spoon!! He had an awesome JBeam 425 Tour camo head painted...think it was in TX somewhere.
  16. Seriously, my sentiments exactly! It's almost to the point of, not WHICH one I would pick, but when to try EACH one and on which set of clubs?? I think this will be an instant revitalization of the BST market for older iron sets. Thanks, Chris, for dropping the bomb, me thinks this will be a highly successful program! ...that copper satin finish on the AF Tours tho....
  17. Pretty sure hutchy has one for sale in BST.
  18. +1 on this. If you're grip is not very light, this will definitely not last long at the usual wear points for your grip. In fact, when it starts to wear/tear, it even looks like the same as a torn apart marshmellow.
  19. Yowza, fancy ferrules those are on them sweet sticks! Look pretty nice and forgiving and minimal offset. Any idea on the swing weight? GLWS hutch!!
  20. Pretty much always chasing the 2 little ones around, or carpet rolling a few while they fetch the balls and step up to roll a few themselves... "use your little green putter, not daddy's" ;) Other than that, camera in hand working with clients on documenting their families' growth But yeah, seemingly always thinking about golf in one way or another, and when im going to be able to get out next...but in the meantime, maybe i should buy more stuff??? ;)
  21. Any interest in a 11.5 type D?
  22. Wow, 2 in a couple weeks on the BST! Such a beauty! Did they all come in 33" lengths? GLWS
  23. Found this old thread for pics...the same u Irons - dot 2? http://forum.tourspecgolf.com/topic/33353-crazy-irons/page-2

Replication mate? Or just letting the rest of the tourstage maru stable go?
