Yururi Gekku Okamura Satin Wedge
Chris, can the 52 be bent to 50? How will this affect the bounce please? I would like an AW for 80 - 90 yard full shots and wondered if this grind would dig into soft lush fairways? I do have a fairly steep angle of attack usually. Thanks.

Has anyone used 1150 shafts with their Epon 503 irons please?
Thanks....will try them out. PS: Wish there was a Thanks button rather than making a new post each time :))

Has anyone used 1150 shafts with their Epon 503 irons please?
I hit the NS Pro 950 R today at a demo day with an XXIO forged iron head and really liked the feel. However, they seem to go a bit high and I tended to lose it left at the end. I think the ticket, with my new club heads, may be a set of 1150 R (as I cannot seem to get the 999 anywhere). Would love any thoughts on this as this shaft has been around for over 10 years or more I think! My driver speed is between 100 - 104. I don't know my 6i speed but will try and find out tomorrow. I hit the ball naturally quite high. Distance is about average I think - 8i 145, 7i 160 - with my Apex with Recoil in Stiff. Thanks.

CPMs in real life
Thank you all for your guidance. We have a big demo day tomorrow - lots of brands Srixon, Mizuno, Titleist, XXIO etc.- and I intend to try as many to get a feel. All of them seem to be using trackman numbers.

Trade: Aerotech Steelfiber i95 Stiff 1/4 inch over 4-gap taper tips
Curious...but are the UST Recoils considered to be less stout than the Aerotech please? I play a set of Recoil (680/F4) stiff and find them fairly stiff. I ask as I would also like to move down half a flex or a flex and wondered if I should avoid Aerotech's from my list of choices. Please message me so I don't derail the OP's original thread. With apologies to mrbluu. Thank you.

How to upload photos?
Don't worry, I couldn't even figure out how to upload photos on the regular web-based forum for hours until I discovered you had to hit More Reply Options and the Attach Files button was on the bottom left. Sorry this does not help you with the mobile version I would think.

WTB: Set of graphite iron shafts - R+, SR or soft S
Would like to find a new set of shafts for my current irons. I am using Recoil (680/f4) stiff and find them too stout for me and lacking a little kick at the tip. I could also look at softer S flex sets and soft-step them if there are enough shafts (4-PW). No Recoil or MCI shafts please. Thank you

WTB: Ryoma F7 head or shafted
Head only OK. Shafted prefer R+ or SR shaft if possible. Will consider R or soft S too. Thank you.

Looking for a new head - longest ?
Great Information Yubin...thank you!

Epon Irons
OK. After a lot of reading forum posts for the last three years or so (!) I think I have narrowed down the choices to the following in order of preference: 503 (Maybe the best compromise within the range) 703 (Not a big fan of game improvement irons and clicky cavities like the Callaway Apex that I am in the process of selling) 551 (only if they are very temptingly priced and in good condition) Thank you.

WTB: Modart fairway woods shafted - S or SR thanks

Epon Irons
I must have a JDM bug. I just put up my few months old Callaway Apex irons (with Recoil shafts) for sale at my local Golf Club and am on the hunt for some nice irons. (5 - PW preferred). Reading so much about Epons, I thought I would try them for the first time. However, blades are too difficult for me to hit, so sorry. I found the Recoil shaft in stiff too stout and feel heavy with the Apex head for me. I definitely would like something with a little more kick in the Epons. FYI, I have a driver swing speed of 100-104 and a smooth-aggressive swing and transition. 1. Would the Roddio I-6 work for me or are they too light? What weight should I be considering ideally. (I do realize that I may have to work with the shafts that come available at this moment in the sets offered). 2. I do have a set of NS Pro 850 steel shafts (which I pulled off my old OnOff irons) lying around so could possibly consider a set of heads. However, I did like the shift to graphite... I would love to find something like an R+ or SR if they come that way. PLEASE PM ME, so I can keep track. And thank you to the FMs and TSG who helped me fill my bag with woods already. Thanks.

CPMs in real life
We recently had a Honma demo day at our club and I tried a TW driver with a Vizard YZ65 in an SR flex. I hit it well and enjoyed the feel of it, although it did go a tad bit high for me. I tried the S flex too but was less good with it. I was very surprised when I checked the specs to see the CPM at 270! (the swing weight was D2). My question is although I know technically what CPMs are in a golf shaft, what does it translate to practically? If I were to try and fit a shaft to a head without having the opportunity to try it, should I look at the swing-weight in conjunction with the flex (SR) or the CPM (as it will not be consistent to flex across the board) to get a similar feeling club? Thanks for your thoughts.

Cutting a driver shaft to put in a 24* fairway wood
Thank you for the advice. This is perfect. Interestingly I was deciding between trying the NSPro Reggio Formula MB shaft or the Aldila Rogue Silver 60 in the driver that I am pulling the shaft from.

Cutting a driver shaft to put in a 24* fairway wood
Hi I wondered if someone can help me please. I have a Ryoma F9 24* fairway wood. It has a Diamana Thump shaft in regular and plays even softer than that. I currently use a BB Alpha with a Fubuki ZT60 stiff shaft in my driver. I am planning to replace that shaft with an Aldila Rogue Silver 60S. I would like to put the Fubuki into the F9 and come up with an SR flex on the fairway wood. Can someone please advise me on what to do in terms of tip and butt trimming. Will the shaft fit the F9 hosel? I have no idea what length the finished club should be. Thank you very much and appreciate a detailed answer to help this build.
