  1. looking at their website and the info about this new release I noted 2 points of interest for me anyway... - why have they switched to forged when they made a big deal of not forging the CBCs? And I believe they have gone from s25 to s20 steel for the CBF. Not that it's a big difference according to most people who have hit both materials in a quality forged product.

  3. they released the CBC irons in BLACK also - can only hope they follow suit here..... not that these aren't SWEET
  4. Modart produced great irons without forging -- but I see their new CBF irons are indeed forged ??

  6. It might not come under JDM exactly -- but you will love the feel of the new Callaway BB driver. Spoken to a dozen guys who recently purchased this and they all rave about it.
  7. I did enjoy reading reports in the blog section but notice this has been left dormant for quite a few months.... this site needs video reviews from people who know what they are talking about.
  8. yes I did see that - the technology probably has some potential. As for the Rapid Taper made by Xcaliber, it is more about creating a whip-like release from a shaft that is quite thick at the top and tapers noticeably in the lower section. Testers thus far are really impressed. I've tried the Ryoma and didn't notice anything dramatic. We watch with interest....
  9. I just got fitted for the new irons and the Ping rep assured me these (woods and irons) are the same heads globally. Possibly Japan offerings could have some fancier shaft possibilities.
  10. never tried those but Maruman rarely disappoint - playing the Shuttle Gold woods right now and they are very good

  12. Interesting news from PING.... full line of G425 clubs about to be released in Japan and Australia. The USA will have to wait until 2021 for these.
  13. XXIO is probably well suited to your needs
  14. Interesting report about these Korean shafts on GOLFWRX

I just noticed the back - so it's clearly not the latest Baldo offering.... Anyway, still interested in your thoughts.

Are these the latest limited edition T3 model or the previous version ? Can I ask why you are selling so soon after buying ? And the black doesn't seem to be holding up too well ?
  18. rumor mill has Ping planning to unleash a G710 driver ... meaning we now only have 436 different drivers to select from.
  19. now we'll have someone who knows something about it....
  20. Coming to the US golf market next month is something creating quite a buzz... https://www.thehackersparadise.com/xcaliber-rapid-taper-iron-shaft-review/
  21. just love the generic translations - most of them are funny or just nonsense... but us golf nuts generally have a clue as to what they were trying to say.
  22. Could be worth trying although the description has me puzzled...
  23. yes you can pick up great drivers 'second hand' and then just reshaft them to suit
  24. totally agree
