  1. What is theRC 704? Do you mean TourStage? The BBD Tour VS iron by Royal Collection is excellent. It's an older model by a few years but still maintains good performance as it's endo forged with a nice sized undercut. I would however suggest the VG3's if your looking for that type of iron.
  2. Have you posted your info in the fitting thread?
  3. opps. I had no idea this was about the wood head and not shaft..
  4. I have an Akira 7 wood with the FW80 installed. I want to hit it even when the shot demands another club. It's my go to club.
  5. All I will play is Crazy FW80! I'm sold. Others like the sigma as well. The FW80 in a 7 wood is the king! super accurate lands soft. PRGR Egg II with the Crazy FW80 is silly long and straight.
  6. love the black and yellow. Good simplistic design on that one.
  7. It's not that its less important than the material. The heat treatment aka annealing process refines the structure, softens, and changes the properties of the material. Most factories don't mess with this so much but places like Endo have the ability to make the same iron in a variety of different feels.
  8. It's lookin good! Was it not an option to have it milled from a single block of steel?
  9. No advantage, it's more marketing than anything else. The heat treatment will determine softness versus the amount of carbon in the steel. Quite a few companies have used S15C in the past. There is no such thing as S18C, Scratch has been very misleading about that.
  10. Many ask how are those Yamaha drivers? I think a post talking about them would serve us. I have only tried the V202 & V202 Tour in these new models so if anyone else has hit the D or Z series please chime in. My take on Yamaha drivers is they are top tech on par with TourStage and PRGR that says a lot. Forged by Endo & Made in Japan. The design on the back face is one of the most efficient when it comes to the transfer of energy. Features: - Super thin chemically milled crown - Design behind the face for increased forgiveness and max energy transfer - Low RPM Spin Concept - Designed for sound/feel for improved experience 3114Hz Yamaha V202 Tour Limited Driver Yamaha V202 Driver Yamaha D202 Driver Yamaha Z202 Driver
  11. With face milling, I think this one only comes satin plated w/ mill and yes they will be in the pro shop soon. I would say order it as soon as it goes in. Crazy wedges sell out.
  12. There is no big expense to scratching your irons to look satin. just take your time be slow use compounds, steel wool, and a good buffing wheel. you can do it by hand with a scratch pad just make sure you tape up any areas you don't want to scratch on accident. Also be careful not to go too deep, you can't go back. once you see copper or something below the plating it means you have gone to far. You can also go to a U.S finisher if your not a stickler on quality.
  13. I've played Crazy's for a couple years straight. Just replaced them with ONOFF S-Forged, another one I often go back to. Now im pre ordering these. worth every penny as I know they will satisfy me for 1+ years.
  14. Thank goodness I'm here! ZEAL Is complete and utter rubbish. Chinese open model heads with skulls on it. Their tour bag is the same as our Seven Hills bag that we rejected and closed out. If your interested in quality go with Titleist JDM, TourStage, Mizuno, or most top OEM JDM bags.
  15. Just figure 60-75 per head + shipping etc..
  16. Hey Ian, welcome to the forum!
  17. The ONOFF Forged is made by Endo. More pics of the Miura CB-1007
  18. need pics please.
  19. I'm 100% that the face milling has a lot to do with roll and not just feel. Try putting horizontal milling vertical it really screws with everything. The ball needs to make contact with with a surface area that is flat be it in the milling or on a flat face. inconsistent heights of milling on the face along with shapes are the main reason why there are not that many different milling designs available that actually work over the years.
  20. We can get it done for you in Japan but it's not cheap PM gocchin, we could send it through one of the finishers in Himeji.
  21. I give looks, fit and finish to the conforming HX460 easily. So many good drivers out right now it's wild. i think this is the best year for JDM drivers maybe ever.
  22. That is art! The face is pretty but is not designed for performance.
  23. Awesome info we appreciate !! What I noticed is that I need a short break in session with some Crazy shafts to get those big gains. With quadra, tour ad, etc.. It's pretty much plug and play but never with the carry and flight the crazy gives me.
  24. I consider Ryoma deep. In regards to the RomaRo only the gold version looks blingy. The top pic the black weight looks stealth IMO.
  25. It looks great! No technology but still very pure! Full write up coming soon!
