Your talking about the 15* TRC driving spoon & The 2011 VG3 FW I assume not UT woods. The TRC Spoon is not forgiving and difficult to hit from thin turf, It's designed to be hit off the tee box. The VG3 is on the opposite end easy to get up and with a higher trajectory than the TRC spoon. U looking for a players club or a point and shoot.

Many major publications in the Japan are similar to how they are on USA and trend with the big boys. I don't consider Yamaha an aggressive player in marketing golf clubs. Titleist in Japan totally is. So is Taylormade & TourStage.

Mizuno's JDM line is called the JPX. It's a little on the big side. Go with something other than Mizuno for JDM. You can get some excellent deals in the B/S/T.

That's interesting that you were able to get aggressive with the royal deco as it fits smoother tempos better most of the time. CB-50 & CB-46 are outstanding shafts that many get great results with. I think your spot on with CB-50 & Epon Zero sounds like a dream setup. CB-46 will also keep you from going left as well. In regards to flex and the royal deco people with 108-120mph swing speeds have been getting great results going down in flex but it seems that isn't the case based on what you described here.

Awesome & congrats Robbie! You really had to go the long route I wish you would have saw it sooner. It's a fantastic maybe the best head out there provided you can find the shaft that brings it out and it looks like you did.

We speak with Ryoma frequently. Still on for April. I saw the Special Tune prototype at Crazy and hit it into a net. I'm back in line waiting for one again. I went from scheduled to getting one of the first to probably getting the last.

That's an easy choice, Yamaha all the way.
