Just picked it up! lot's of controversy behind it. How can we understand the world in which we find ourselves? Over twenty years ago I wrote A Brief History of Time, to try to explain where the universe came from, and where it is going. But that book left some important questions unanswered. Why is there a universe--why is there something rather than nothing? Why do we exist? Why are the laws of nature what they are? Did the universe need a designer and creator? It was Einstein’s dream to discover the grand design of the universe, a single theory that explains everything. However, physicists in Einstein’s day hadn’t made enough progress in understanding the forces of nature for that to be a realistic goal. And by the time I had begun writing A Brief History of Time, there were still several key advances that had not yet been made that would prevent us from fulfilling Einstein’s dream. But in recent years the development of M-theory, the top-down approach to cosmology, and new observations such as those made by satellites like NASA’s COBE and WMAP, have brought us closer than ever to that single theory, and to being able to answer those deepest of questions. And so Leonard Mlodinow and I set out to write a sequel to A Brief History of Time to attempt to answer the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything. The result is The Grand Design, the product of our four-year effort. In The Grand Design we explain why, according to quantum theory, the cosmos does not have just a single existence, or history, but rather that every possible history of the universe exists simultaneously. We question the conventional concept of reality, posing instead a "model-dependent" theory of reality. We discuss how the laws of our particular universe are extraordinarily finely tuned so as to allow for our existence, and show why quantum theory predicts the multiverse--the idea that ours is just one of many universes that appeared spontaneously out of nothing, each with different laws of nature. And we assess M-Theory, an explanation of the laws governing the multiverse, and the only viable candidate for a complete "theory of everything." As we promise in our opening chapter, unlike the answer to the Ultimate Question of Life given in the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, the answer we provide in The Grand Design is not, simply, "42."

So they stopped production of the current 6 series and M6. These pics were just released of what will be pretty close to the upcoming 6 series coupe.

Pretty wild that almost everyone suggested the Epon AF102 for Dr. D's scenario. What I suggested before starting this topic with him was AF-102 w/ Quadra Fire Express or Crazy of some sort. I like the idea of Epon because the head weight can be custom ordered a bit heavier, the face angle open, and the Quadra or Crazy shaft with any tip prep he requires. pure flexibility direct from the factory! With other brands it goes from Factory, to Assembly, to OEM, then to retail store or dealer and finally into the customers hands.

I have been talking to member daamartin for a week now and wanted to bring the members into the mix to support him on his decision. Dr. D is in the market for a nice heavy driver that emphasizes on feel and feedback most importantly and also a mid launch trajectory. He has a target shaft weight of 75-80 grams and currently plays the Aldila NV Proto 84g X in a Titleist 909D2 9.5 and although he hit's many fairways he is uninspired by the distance. Just got confirmation from Epon/Endo that they are 100% fake.

Anyone looking for an extreme high end digital video camera? Of course there is Sony & Cannon but the one that is leaps and bounds over them is RED Digital Cinema. The two you should be interested in are the upcoming EPIC which is 5k Resolution. Blue Ray = 1080 res. Red Ray is 5000 res. Requires a Red Ray player. Camera info below: RED is really going all out at NAB this year. In addition to that Scarlet 3K "pocket" camera, the RED ONE is getting seriously one-upped by the new top-of-the-line RED EPIC. This 5K camera has a full-frame S35mm Mysterium X sensor, and pretty much matches 35mm film resolution -- RED ONE topped out at 4K. FPS is limited to 100, which is to be expected with all those pixels to handle, but other features match that of other RED cams. Of course, the promise of the RED ONE "rendering obsolescence obsolete" has been slightly trampled by EPIC, but the good news is that RED will allow ONE customers to trade in their cameras for a full $17,500 credit towards the EPIC when it ships in 2009. Price? About $30,000. RED just unleashed its promised Scarlet "pocket professional" camera at NAB 2008, and it's certainly a sight to see. The teensy 3K resolution camcorder is based on a 2 / 3-inch Mysterium X sensor, can shoot at 1 to 120 FPS and records to dual CompactFlash cards, which can handle up to 100MB per second of REDCODE RAW HD video. You can preview your shot on the 4.8-inch LCD, and there's a 8x RED zoom lens included. HMDI, HD-SDI, FireWire 800 and USB 2.0 inputs are built in, and the device is compatible with "many" RED ONE accessories. WiFi control is also included. In typical RED fashion, the only promises about the final product is that "specifications, delivery dates and design are subject to change... count on it," but this is certainly a good start. No pre-orders are being accepted at this time, but the price is purportedly to going to be a bit under $3,000. via engadget

I just sent Endo Japan an inquiry on these irons, Should have a response in a day or two. My best guess so far is that they are not actual prototypes by Epon. The font for the word EPON is new style yet the model name is 200. Also the finish, face shape, top line curve, and bead blast are nothing like what Epon/Endo usually produces.

I'm personally not so big on Baldo, Would you guy's like to see it in the proshop? I do know they are not produced in Japan. We received some samples the quality wasn't there in terms of paint and finish and it took forever to ship out. Kinda risky offering it to our customers, They do offer interesting Drivers, FW's, and Wedges. With P-Tune, It's made much better than Baldo but when I compare to Epon, TourStage, Srixon, PRGR it's years behind. No chem milling, no variable face thickness, It's all about sole design and shape. Just my 2 cents but there are brands that are made by the best factories and use the best technology, those are the guy's who have big time scientific R&D to experiment with new things. Then there are those who create niche brands based off of brand image and marketing. Yes it's original design but limited by budget and research. Spending 800 bucks on a driver I usually suggest the company that has the backing and new tech behind it. Whatever the case P-Tune & Baldo are both smaller up and coming brands that have been gaining momentum over the last year. TSG can get it and would love to add it to the pro shop if there is interest in them.

Yes we can get Elite Grips, It's an interesting product that feature a counter weighting system on the butt end. It's that little silver cap. Not sure if it's heavy enough to make a real difference like the balanced certified counter weighting system but they are pretty cool.

It looks killer, I didn't add it because it's part of the GR line.

It's different, Japan has the JPX E600 series and the JPX AD's. They don't even offer the JPX that U.S and U.K will have.

Hold on! These are nothing special. If they were the real deal special ones worth 4500.00 They would say T-001/500 Instead of Just T. The T stamp ones were just a limited release set in Japan introduced around 2002. Quite abundant and the grind is same as the retail version. The Titleist Miura Tiger edition irons came in a cherry wood box, came with a cert, photo of tiger signed. The ones your looking for is this one, I had a set i bought second hand and refinished, sold it for a pretty penny!

It's a hair over a Japanese SR and you can order it up to Stiff flex via 0.5" tipping custom order.

I'm totally cool with C9 myself. I can barely tell the difference in my hands to be honest. Don't worry for those waiting for the new egg to ship, You guy's are getting it on the same schedule as people in Japan are. It's like your in Japan waiting for it. I won't be getting mine for a while as the customers get first dibs on them.

Thank's duffer, Exactly. Head covers having a tag that say made in china only means the head cover was made in china. The shaft could have a sticker that says made in japan but that doesn't mean the head was made their also. Best way is to ask the OEM, In many cases they don't want to answer you about those types of questions so then come here and ask us. I'm pretty sure that head was made in China, I thought your question was what market it was produced to be sold in.

I hear what your saying that each batch, putter, sample will differ but there is a tolerance for this very reason and in order for it to actually remain within the 303 category it has to fall into those parameters. I'm pretty sure we can rule out the issues that sulfur and phosphorus pose. Ductility and cracks have never been an attribute or related to putters, let alone U.S, J.I.S, or GSS. I think Sasaya-san posted this info to show where J.I.S stands in comparison to Scotty's GSS.

If you purchased it from TSG it is for the Japanese market. I don't know who you purchased it from but I can assure you that we (TSG) only offers products that were produced to be sold in Japan.

In my experience with both the 502/701 the 701 is longer and a bit easier to hit. I still say go with the AF302. Feel and forgiveness is in perfect balance. Burner TP's are amazing though, more forgiving than you would expect. Either way you are in good hands. The edge goes to the 302 in feel and feedback.

Then you and I are in the same boat, Zero offset vs minimal offset I take minimal any day of the week. little offset for me actually makes the club more forgiving. I just wanted to throw it out there so people know what to expect. I will soon post pics of each of the irons from above to give you guys a better idea. It's not crazy just present.
