  1. Its in great condition for being so old. Good and bad news. The good is that it's quality and rare, I think it should be worth good coin. Bad is that Bettinardi in Japan has never held it's value well. These have been on auction sites and used Japanese golf shops for about 200 although I can't vouch for the condition. Hope that helps and good luck selling this beauty.
  2. I received all the new RS clubs last week but I'm out of country so no chance to hit or test!
  3. The CB358 us still a touch thick but yes they have less offset. They are shorter heel to toe, they are not as long or forgiving or soft. ONOFF Kuro Forged will be replaced in 2016/2017 so keep that in mind. Right now in this segment my top suggestion would be Titleist VG3 Forged, such an outstanding iron.
  4. There is a global model and japan model with the difference in finish and style of engraving on the sole. retail is 950 head only. of course forum members get the hook up when they email me. release date is august. TSG will have both global and japan only models. Yes Itobori grinding on the head is for looks only. There is no custom options, these are not handmade like irons are.
  5. It's Insane to me why Jbeam would do this for another co. It's Insane to me why TRPX would let another co register it's gear with the R&A. The loser in all this is TRPX they lose a killer driver supplier and their pro must have been pissed! Moving on I don't know who makes this new club, it does not look Kamui Pro at all.
  6. If I ask Jbeam to produce a driver for me there is no way I would expect them to register it with the R&A.. Its industry standard for any brand to take care of this themselves. if TRPX asked JBeam to do this its idiotic as its super easy to do. Pay fee and send sample. JBeam has a CT machine, TRPX does not. JBeam always checks CT #s of clubs it hands to a pro. Yes very small co. TRPX is actually bigger.
  7. We know both brands very well. TRPX blames Jbeam for the situation.. JBeam thinks they should check their own drivers.. If this was just about registering with the R&A TRPX would take responsibility for it.
  8. A bit more info on this one. It has a total of 9 weights on the head of all various materials, the usual suspects of Tungsten 3.8gm Stainless 2g and Titanium 0.9g. All weights are adjustable so knock yourselves out changing them. This head is 450cc's Available lofts are from 9.5* o 11.5* Head weights are from 192g to 210g. Face angles are from 0* to –1.3*. The centroid CG distance is 43mm. The centroid CG height is 29.5mm. The centroid CG depth is 38mm. DAT55 + Carbon Crown + 6-4Ti Body The head is 5mm more shallow than the RS-001 so it actually looks a touch larger and seem to be the easier driver of the two.
  9. If you have the money to go 7D go 7D. Both shafts are awesome! can't go wrong either way.
  10. Gold's Factory doesn't make putters. Also some of the brands above don't actually make their own putters. Does that matter to you? What is the purpose of this list?
  11. All of it looks ugly to me.
  12. The new RS Forged Irons by PRGR look stunning! This is their pro model iron, a month or two ago we showed you the prototypes being played on the J-Tour. Back then the iron was a pure blade, this is the same club just slightly evolved into a neo blade. It's got a lot of technology! It's body is forged S25C the face is maraging steel ES235 there is a hollow cavity on the inside filled with a vibration dampening called FLASH ONE weighting is done by a new tungsten rubber material as well The goal is to make a blade that had all the forgiveness of a medium sized cb. look at the FP, its as minimal as it get's and progressive as it should be with 4.0 in the long irons and down to 5.5 in the wedge which is virtually nothing to onset. There is a black set dedicated wedge available as well. The set is sold 5-PW with optional #4 / 51 / 57*
  13. In the flesh:
  14. Next up the RS Driver F for the better player. '' Lets compare the two on paper: Both are entirely different molds of course, they are both 460cc's and are sold from R to SX flex measured in m/s. The face angles show the "F" more open, again this is not 3.5* how you would normally apply it to another brand, PRGR does things very differently and that includes their measurements. Check out the lie angle on the RS DRIVER F.... 56*! This will make many happy.
  15. Let's start with the driver, many male and female JJPGA players have been gaming the new RS and RS Type-F. There is also a victory and a couple runner ups with this club in play. 4 PRGR patents in this head alone. Features: - W-Crown - Forged Ti Face - Standard Length 45.25" - 2* Open Face Angle ( based on how PRGR measures this ) - Variable Face Thickness - New Multi Axis Shaft Design - Adjustable Weights - Adjustable Loft by 1*
  16. Very early prototype of a new TRPX driver. They are no longer cool with Jbeam due to an unfortunate situation where the leader of a JPGA event was disqualified coming into the final round for playing a non conforming driver. Ultimately imo it was TRPX's faults as they should have checked the COR on that club themselves before handing it to a pro.
  17. The #1 selling shaft in Japan is the EVO II, coming soon is the new EVO III. Safe chance these should be very good shafts at a decent price. 2016 Fujikura EVO III Shaft Next up is the new Diamana BF Shaft. I'm excited to try this one as well and plan to do so in a Ryoma Type V 9.5 when I get back to Japan shortly. And the newest announcement the Graphite Design Tour AD TP Series recently spotted on the J-Tour in Hokkaido more on all three shortly.
  18. Grandista's first club the RS-001 is still a pretty awesome driver. It had nice high trajectory yet with a very straight lower spin dispersion. Easy to hit! Now the LS-001 is even the more of those very same things. Lower CG depth + more forgiving due to a larger laterial & horizontal face buldge.
  19. Congrats on all your beautiful clubs bogeylondon!
  20. New Driver - is on severe back order, I do have Type-D heads in stock right now although G & V is backed up even in Japan. New FW is coming in Autumn, still a long ways out.
  21. I have just confirmed with Ryoma directly that if the FW head has no serial # it is a fake or it was removed and tampered with. All Fairway woods have serial #'s
  22. I will get some clarity on this issue for you and post it up in this thread shortly. I will say that we have seen many more fake Ryomas and also PRGR in recent so be careful especially on ebay.
  23. Ill give you guys the full run down shortly.. a powerful tid bit is he is responsible for co-development of materials and processes that many of you guys already use, also these have won many tournaments every year on the U.S PGA tour for multiple players of multiple brands. tens of thousands of players already use drivers he has designed, dozens of pros, many winners on tour.
