I had 771's in several clubs including a couple FWs, I say the most important aspect of my shaft selections is if the shaft loads nicely with a smooth tempo swing. If the shaft don't load its an automatic loss of distance and who would want that in any shaft. So i recommend trying un tipped then if it loads way to easy then tip it. I always hate having to swing out of my shoes to get a shaft to load properly and thats just a sign of it being to stiff.

Depends if you just want clubs to hit or your looking to start the makings of an even sweeter set :?: The both are great, my honest opinion is the XCBs are the best performing, best designed, and best looking irons on the market, now best forging? :? Id have to say Miura

Tourstage experts please educate me, help me pick out a set

I don't think the MR23s are that good of a choice unless you carry a low single digit handicap, Yes they feel great and set up small but they were designed and geared for a +5 handicap player named Maru Chan. When your swing is a little off the MR23s will punish. Id say go TS202s if your on a budget and XCBs if you don't mind spending over a grand for irons. -

They are the same club different size. Id take the new 370 9* square face in a heartbeat. The 340 is square in 9*, also its just the 370 is the more desired size at the moment.. Both the 340 & 370 are very long good feeling drivers and notice that the faces are extremely deep 8) 340cc 370cc

I did enjoy the blue G it perhaps may be better for my swing than the Tour AD series, When I hit the blue G it was overall more user friendly and less demanding great shaft. -

There is a man who is picking with his heart and not his head. Nothing in the world would make me happier than seeing him win but..... I think Philly Mick would pull one down before Long John. Too much baggage lately. I bet something really special will happen this year but I just don't know what it'll be. Maybe the Inquirer will run pics of Hootie and Martha having a torrid affair. She is one of the few women in the world I would pay to keep their clothes on!!!!!!!!! Yeah they could call it a charitable please keep your clothes on Martha fund with a celebrity auction on ebay ;monalisa It just may fund the trip to mars later this decade. -
I haven't sold many sets maybe 6-8 sets so I'm curious when one of these guys will chime in and share their experiences :? They are probably all lurkers or what i would call sleepers. The X-CBs are a very forgiving players club with a blade setup. very easy to hit about 90% as forgiving when compared to the TS-202s, Id say the 3,4, & 5 Irons are even easier than the TS-202s because they have a tungsten insert deep in the cavity.

Great an Awesome review there my friend :) . I think 600 is a great price for a tour van square face 8.75 degree maru. There is a good guy here his stage name is preppygolf4r he just recently got a tour van maru 2 degrees open 45 inches M85 X flex shaft, his swing speed is 117mph he hits long small draws usually about 295-315yds out but this driver is the best club Ive seen him hit or he himself has hit. I really think its all about powering through the ball with this club and also a right to left ball flight. I wasn't able to hit it for beans low worm burners fading right so what i did was pick up the non conforming 9.5 model. The 9.5 was everything i wanted the Maru to be and more easy to hit, higher ball flight than the maru, easier to work in my opinion with even less neutral weighting than a maru. Let me know if you want a used head bro P. Thanks for the honest review sounds on the money when your talking about this club being not so user friendly. I look forward to hearing about a more successful round you have with it in the future.

Ive been getting lots of E-mails about pricing questions of the X390. here are a few things id like everyone to take into account if you are curious abut pricing. - All X390 Pro Spec Drivers are special made per order often taking 2 weeks before shipment. ( conforming drivers are not big in Japan ) - You can have any Japan Fujikura Tourspec or Japan Graphite Design shaft on it. ( I suggest taking advantage of this because the shaft comes out cheaper and factory installed. ) -The retail price of an X390 with TXD shaft is 88,000yen with a GD or Fuji shaft retail is 115,000yen. Depending on what shaft you choose would be your price. example the W-60 or W-70 both cost 42,000yen retail! 8O so the X390 pro spec with an expensive shaft would be around the vicinity of high 700.00s - 825.00.

Id say the Blue G is at the bottom of the Graphite Design Japan line up. The W60 & W70s were just released here are some specs: W-60 63g 4.8 8.50/60 15.40 Retail Price: 42,000 W-70 72g 3.6 8.50/60 15.65 Retail Price: 42,000 What your looking for when purchasing a GD shaft is the Tour-AD series. -
Thanks guys for your praise but truth is my customer service as of now is only mediocre, I don't get to answer every e-mail because I'm in the process of making the site more efficient lots of web stuff. So hang in there because when the E-com site is launched in a couple weeks ( I promise ) ordering small accessories/Clubs new and used/ Apparel will be much easier, much faster, and cheaper. Most products in the E-commerce store will be cheaper than if they were on ebay or acquired via PM. Thanks for your good comments.

Round #3 with the R7 Quad w/Pics **UPDATE**
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Try a Japanese Fuji Six Tour Spec or a Graphite Design W60 I really enjoy both of those shafts. Here is a small update id like to share about my round with the R7 today after swapping the shafts, I put another W60 in the R7 at 45.5 inches, The new setup was almost 15-20 yards longer than my 44.5 inch X390. R7 Good toy but I'm surprised no men on the JPGA yet :? -
There are probobly none used yet. The 9* lofts in japan dont usually sell very well. I have hit the square face version its great with really deep face.

Round #3 with the R7 Quad w/Pics **UPDATE**
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
OK guys just finished round number 3 with the Ignite, R7, and X390 and there is now a club that I can say i strongly feel is Superior in everywhere it counts. The face wasnt as deep as the nike or TM but its still deep and I took the advice from another X390 thread about not teeing it to high and that made a world of difference which ultimatly made the X390 just better overall to me. The Tourstage X-Drive 390 pro spec was longer, with less spin, more forgiving on heel and tow hits which i like and set up the most square. I play the X390 with Graphite Design W60 Shaft in Stiff its 60g 4.4tq. I checked the loft and its specs were 9.6 degrees and sat .7 degrees open. The R7s head sets up great smaller than the X390, I rate this driver better than the ignite to my surprise the 9.5 sits square the 8.5 is half a degree opened. My R7 has a Fujikura 569 in stiff kinda similar to the W60 and the ball flight is much higher probably due to the High - Left setting i have the screws set to. The R7s loft is stated at 9.5 but its 10 degrees when tested the face was almost square. I like this toy a lot just wish they added this technology to a head similar to the 540XD with a longer heel - toe face. The Nike Ignite 380 with blue G felt better than R7 but seemed shorter than both drivers and more prone to pull it with its half degree closed face. At set up it ranked 3rd place but from looking at the face its shape is just awesome. The 380 is the Deep face of the Ignite line in Japan maybe the 410 would better suit me with its square face longer heel - toe face size and perhaps i didn't give it a fair try with its ignite Blue -G, but the Blue-G is a top notch shaft and it shouldn't have made a big difference. One great thing is that the 9.5 tested at 9.6 closest to specs of the three. It was also perfectly a half degree closed. So theres my take on these 3 very promising clubs. I'm a big Tourstage fan so that may account to why i picked the X390 but I tried my best to be objective as well as not really thinking about feel & Sound. I now Know the X390 is the best for my score. -
Thats a great deal for 450.00 brand new! I love this driver in non conforming 9.5, the 10.5 is also awesome with a slight draw bias. Still in my opinion the best head made by Tourstage ( 9.5 )

Round #3 with the R7 Quad w/Pics **UPDATE**
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
I plan on taking the two drivers to a grass practice range and a swing analyzer to better see what will result in longer straighter drives. I will be taking an Ignite 380 Demo along also. I definitely think one of these three drivers will be for me its just what exactly do I want :? better feel? More forgiving? Straighter? Beauty at setup? I'm gonna say whatever makes my score lower works this time. I actually hope the R7 works out best for me, I have had many TPs & DFs that I just couldn't get used to. Has the muted feel and crack of a tourstage ruined my taste for Taylormade? Only time will tell
