  1. PIC of the Retail Japan Mizuno MP-27 Chrome: Custom Order Satin MP-27 with M logo!!!! It takes over a month and its very expensive 8O
  2. I have a 652 stiff flex in a MR23 9.5 and also had it in a MacTec NV3 its an awesome shaft very user friendly as are all the lower number modeled Fujikura's. No hook problems but I was losing distance with this shaft, I like a shaft in the low 60s grams. I usually get a higher ball flight with the lighter shafts but what i wanted was a more penetrating ball flight so tried the 584HK which is Fujikura Japans awesome new high kick light weight shaft. The 584HK did the job in that department but i wasnt getting the distance i knew I could get from the perfect shaft for my swing. Enter the Graphite Design Tour AD W60 and If ya got a hook problem try the Tour AD I-65 I even put Tour AD M85s in my Fairway Woods and so far only great success over using only Fujikura shafts.
  3. Love um? Im also able to get you the Nike T100 Utilitys like shingo uses, 380 Ignite+ Drivers. Nike is very expensive in Japan but they have Quality shaft options like the Blue G and Mitsubishi's.
  4. The protos not out yet but new or used the current F-ST is somthing i can get you no problemo.
  5. Dunlap is a brand for the high handicap older player. Of all their 2004 drivers the least amount of offset you can find is 1.5 degrees closed. The XXIO tour irons are good they are like Japans X-16s but as far as drivers and woods go yuck they are all hooked face, Dunlap makes Srixion for the better players.
  6. This is the one on ebay: This is the new proto in HT probobly coming in abouts 6 months or so:
  7. No exacts on the amount all i heard is he is trying to or wanting to get away from titleist.
  8. There are tons of innovations in wedge and putter science that many of us don't know about. I had no clue about Laser engraving machines for logos and letters until Todd at TKS Bettinardi told me about it, I had no idea about the machines they use to turn auto cad into an actual plaster prototypes. What many putter companies don't advertise is the actual lofts of the putters. I use a loft measured 6 degrees from the shaft due to todays changing ball and stroke, I play the X-01 and the ProV1x what i have learned in a putter fitting seminar recently was that a professional golfer can tell the loft of the putter by the balls role. I'm still trying to figure that out myself :? Whats cool too is that people who putt with their hands often feel the putter head is too light and people that putt with a perfect triangle and elbows in against the waist often feel the head as Heavier. I messed with this myself and agree 100%. When a putter gets milled they use whats called needles. I was told Cameron uses 10 needles for the CNC milling process while Bettinardi uses 15 and GD Japan uses 20-25 depending on the type of model putter. The more needles provide a smoother more accurate milling but more needles mean more $$$ they wear faster and the more you use the more you replace which also takes time. I guess what's new with wedges is forged heads with hand ground edges, CNC milled faces perfectly flat, no sandblasted faces and also computer milled tour grooves.
  9. TourSpecGirl Kills any driver she hits from the red Tee we are pretty much even when i play from the whites. From the tips her drives kill me. I use any types of drivers and really notice the High C.O.R are drivers hot off the face faster and more explosive compared to a conforming club. I'm not sure exactly what to think about distance when i recently compared the X390 pro spec to the X390 high C.O.R they were about the same but when i compared a conforming Tour OnOff driver to a retail version the retail version smashed the Tour Pros driver. It depends on the Driver and player. I'm really loving my R7 MAX just because ball go straight
  10. Isn't the F-ST+ being tested on the JPGA right now? Its titanium with a non bore thru.
  11. Kevin is still making his signature putters however. Nick Thats one highly underrated putter. The tourstage KB series is top notch. to many great products now days....I cant keep up :x
  12. What type putter face do you think offers the best contact, feel, roll and accuracy? The majority of milled putter companies use the same swirly mill marks similar to Gauge Design U.S, Scotty Cameron, Callaway Ti, T.P Mills, Zodia etc.. Brands like Bettinardi with their honey comb face feel awesome also and now in the Japanese markets there is "YES" and several other companies making a designed milling. And then there is Gauge Designs Japan using a 100% flat CNC milled face to produce the least amount of variables between the face and the ball. JPGA is moving toward this direction at the moment. What putter face feels best to you and has the best science for a quality putter face?
  13. Chris - was this always in the works or part of the letter received ? Delete the thread if you need to for any reason. The letter has nothing to do with it, It did get me a lil steamed & motivate me to build an even greater site than what we have now. It was time for a new flash box and i figured while paying for that why don't we add a flash screen and heck lets just change the entire look while were at it. Its easier to re do everything at once. It all takes time but i think by 2005 i can have the 1st Tour & Import Internet Magazine site.
  14. wasnt he a sales rep for ray cook before he made his first putter at mizuno?
  15. The Japan release is High C.O.R .86+ The U.S version will be Conforming
  16. Tell me more about these MFS shafts you use? Im considering Fuji, GD or any high end graphite shafts for my irons, just to see what its all about.
  17. They all say prototype on it :? http://www.gd-inc.co.jp/
  18. I guess building himself a brand new studio wasnt enough? On top of that he just opened up his authentication service, and that looks to be going great. If he had any thought of switching companies he would have done it before doing the two above things. Steve :) I agree 100% that sounds correct, perhaps this rumor is old and im just getting it now  . I do think Bett/Nike would be a match made in heaven, hmmm... Gauge U.S. with _???_
  19. Everything is looking real pretty the E-com is up, the the new theme is being adjusted, logos refinished, and the web site structure must change. Im lookin at 2 weeks max.
  20. Well um, somethings going on right now, I'm not sure what it is but some big$$ offers were made recently. I don't know nothing about his contract right now but I think Nike could actually treat him better than titty is.
  21. Reliable un confirmed rumors have it that Scotty Cameron is thinking about switching to Nike. What will Titleist do if Scotty leaves?
  22. Thats Unreal man you really got hooked up by your lady, why arnt you there?
  23. No it's not. This magazine is April 15th edition, Golf Today. With Toshi Izawa on the cover. At least 15 different monthly and weekly magazines about golf are released monthly in Japan.
  24. I have tried Fujikura Iron shafts but I have yet to demo the Graphite Design and Nippon graphite Iron shafts. The Fujis felt stiffer than a stock graphite shaft from the OEMs. My guess is the GDs feel stiffer than the Fuji's and the Nippon's the weakest of the three. Thats just a guess based on their other products.
  25. For me the #1 shaft is the W60 by Graphite Design but I have had great results with the Fuji 569 and S.I.X because they are not so demanding. All three of these shafts I have noticed quality results quickly.
