  1. I just asked Ako-san, will reply shortly. On a side note gotta love the cover photo slogan. A-GRIND "for winners"
  2. In defense of Epon :) Those cutaways and ribs or cavities in other brands drivers actually do nothing. They actually prevent and box designers into a corner. The best technology is a head that can expand and contract, well with those cavities or even too much text on a head that thickens areas restricting the expansion of the head. So Epon has it right by limiting all those frills that are based stricktly around marketing. Nike, Taylormade are offenders of this, I can say the ZY-7 is as well. All those features could be done internally to move cg placement and weight around keeping the head flexible. But where Epon fails is in a vital area it's face technology, due to their core manufacturing process which is something they have no budget to reinvent or change the faces are too soft and it kills rebound or RBI which is why everyone has left Endo for producing drivers aside from price. I think some peoples comments reflect this accurately, good feel but distance is meh, actually what I am told is slightly less than average and much less than drivers that are known to be longer.
  3. I think maybe our report button is not configured properly so guys if there is a rule breaker PM me and I will take care of it. We will soon be updating the forum as well.
  4. Oh my what an honor they named this iron after yours truly.... I have confirmed BM = Big Muscle
  5. I have no idea but has there ever been a non conforming fairway wood? I've also never heard of a stainless steel face that has a Cor above 0.83. Anyway this one is both and although it's head is light and it's geared to the slower swinger it's still something I'm very curious to hit simply because it's an egg.
  6. Use a professional club maker. Make sure you get the right lie/length/loft/swing weight/grip size sorted at the same time.
  7. It's conforming but here's a little side story for y'all. TRPX had a pro staffer in the lead by a few strokes on the final day when he was DQ'd for having a non conforming driver, yet TRPX doesn't make a non conforming driver and that driver was produced by Jbeam. The responsibility never lies on the company that produces the product but rather on the brand that sells it so this caused the fall out between TRPX and Jbeam and now TRPX's next driver will not be designed in collaboration with Jbeam. Moral of the story is TRPX should have independently tested their heads with a CT machine.
  8. The new super egg FW is non conforming,. I'll post it up tomorrow for you.
  9. Go with the AAA it's the safe bet, a lot of people do well with it.
  10. No we don't want anything to do with clothes, main reason is you have to go to the event preview and pre order based on drawings, then each brand differs in size, also sizes are too small for westerners. the largest size they offer is sometimes like the smallest size depending on what country your from. We have tried this before, we have to say no refunds the customer gets the clothes and the vast majority of the time it doesn't fit.
  11. What weight you looking for? What type of launch you want? What head will this go into? What is your bad shot? Transition/tempo is it smooth or aggressive? you might want to email me so we can figure this out.
  12. PRGR staffers had a different prototype in the bag before this one, it was too low spin they were complaining which lead to a loss in distance. So PRGR updated that previous RS prototype to this new one which produces on average 200-300 more spin than the previous one which gave them 5-10yds more distance. But this is the internet and here 90T is better than 80T and less spin is better than more spin so that's not cool right? wrong, spin is very important for distance it's about finding a driver that has the proper amount of spin to give you max distance for you swing or less spin to help you reduce swing flaws.
  13. Yes I know this one pretty well, it's anti right which is what I need. The shaft is made of 80T so it squares up very quickly and nicely. It can feel boardy if you are in a flex too stiff for your swing and it has a mid stiff tip section and butt section, not sure about the mid section stiffness. This is one of Crazy's best shafts I also love the weight it helped me smooth it out and hit straighter shots with low spin. Overall the new Regenisis shafts feel better than the originals, some of them are a touch softer but not by much.
  14. My comments edited - Insert a huge foot in mouth! Don White is the man I would hire and play his grinds any day. Sorry for taking this thread to a negative place.
  15. These are really good fellas, I think I just found the replacement to my Crazy Black UT shafts which I haven't been able to equal in years. Still need to try the 7D but these are solid. The STP irons play very firm and numb, these are softer so what I would consider true to flex but due to the extra length they feel more kicky yet super straight like the iron shafts. They are weight/flex matched so each weight is only offered in a specific flex as below: 45 - R2 50 - R 55 - SR 70 - S 75 - SX I'm baggin the 70-S and it's perfect, I went with a little less tip cut in mine but thing I will take it to the suggested tipping instructions. Anyway if your looking for a top end UT shaft this one is hard to pass up. pics below w/full write up in the blog - now in the TSG Pro Shop.
  16. Has it been 2 years since these have been in the works? Pre order is going up soon in the proshop. Photos here, full write up in the blog.
  17. You gotta be silly to be focused on BM or MB. Just look at these:
  18. 3 of PRGR's top staffers have changed to these irons Ji Kodaira, Tetsuji Hiratsuka, and Azuma Yano. There is no official name for these yet but they are scheduled to release in August. They are designed to be easier to turn over and have a lower center of gravity making them easier to hit. The long irons don't have that light cut away those start and 8, 9, and PW. I will show the new prototype driver tomorrow so stay tuned.
  19. This is the last of the first 5 produced and the most simple. - Soft Black w/ Polished Sole - Dual Overlap Tungsten - Horizontal PZ Milling - VM Tech Insert in Gold - Teramoto Black Shaft - Elite iB67 Grip in White
