  1. TP-09S Photos Last week I posted photos of the Kamui Pro TP-09D Driver here. Today it's about it's shallow faced brother the TP-09S, obviously D is for Deep and S is for Shallow. What you can expect is a more forgiving shape to promote straighter shots on heel and toe misses while the D is better for the golfer who hits high and low on the face. The S also has more of a draw bias by design and a slightly higher trajectory with a touch more spin.
  2. oh thats a beauty is the band rubber? close ups?

I would say dont put much $$$ into it or overthink it. a set of decent used shafts at your lie/length/swing weight/grip size is enough.

It's not that simple CG, head weight, lofts, CG depth and height, and manufacturing methods of yesterday vs today means blades are not blades. for example you would suspect those should be low CG, higher launching easier to hit due to the shallow face and mass low? well it's very likely that there are easier to hit higher launching recent blades that don't have as much mass low and a taller face. know what I mean? Anyway enjoy, I've seen these before even older models in Japan never hit them though.
  5. Scheduled for a May Release A-Grinds new DST has been showing up in a few tour players bags on the JPA tour. It's Ako-san's next gen fairway wood designed for more forgiveness a mid/high trajectory with minimal spin. This is still a better players wood just an easier one to hit when compared to the Original A-Grind Fairway wood. The head is made of stainless steel 17-4 with a 455SS face that is thinner than his original model for a bit more distance. DST = driving slit tech but to be honest I don't believe and can't find any specific evidence in these types of so called "technologies" no matter what brand is using it. The head comes standard with a 1* open face angle a matte black head and dark chrome finish. We will have a bunch of heads pre-release date TBA. Official release is May.
  6. Missed this one, yes ROOs have size to them, Im sporting the apple watch..lol. my small collection is in a lock box as me and the fam live abroad, I do want to add the new daytona to the winder though. was considering a subscription to eleven james as well.
  7. perfect! I dont know which I want to see more of! Your ride has the Takumi badge under the hood right?
  8. while in theory there is some truth to that you should pay no attention to it as the difference would be so minuscule it cant be quantified by any human or even swing robot. It would have more to do with the tip playing more active than workability as well. Its a hair too small to split.
  9. foaming a head makes it mute & dead feeling, it's a preference usually desired by purists. It ads 4g but it also prevents you from removing adjustable weights. The ZY-11 is factory foamed so you can still adjust weights but aftermarket foaming does not allow that.
  10. It's been a long time since I've hit the Shimada range but the K's 115 sounds like an option. Modus 105's seem like a considertion except for the weight.
  11. get to whack them today, will update with review + photos soon.
  12. This! what matches best is completely different for different people so knowing what you need and why is vital.
  13. About 3-4g.
  14. This is copper mirror looks to me. not rare at all. send any wedge you want to us and I can have this done to it.
  15. only non foamed right now but for 50 bucks TSG will foam it for you.
  16. Very good driver like the last TP-07, face shape is a bit strange but it checks all boxes as far as feel, forgiveness and distance. Will post the (S) shortly, these have been out for some months now but I consider these near the top for heads to consider. Full write up in the blog, pics right here...
  17. 15 & 18* only. This is better player stuff guys. Our reviews are stellar for the Titan FW - here So if you want easy, mid/high launch low spin straight it's up there with the very best of them.
  18. Originally after not being able to hit the CRZ Driver very well I was not a fan, but at Crazy I watched their staff pro whack all the drivers in front of me and now see it's just for a different type of player and after realizing this I approached the entire CRZ series differently as a pro level club. So the bottom line is if you want workable, low spin & trajectory with a firmer solid pop off the face and you have a high swing speed & handicap these are excellent options.
  19. SEVEN X GOLD's FACTORY- Only a few days ago we showed you one of the SEVEN X GOLD's FACTORY putters now another limited one-off design made in collaboration with the Master himself Masayuki Sasaya. This one is very special it's our very first custom center shaft putter with a black center Teramoto shaft. This putter was originally a heel shafted putter, so the master started by cutting the neck off and filling the hole with metal and hand grinding it flat then he welded the hosel to the proper position and adjusted all specs for optimal performance. The sole was then enhanced with two 20g heavy tungsten weights along with a fatter slit line that doesn't extend through the putter; this slit line design is something new for Gold's Factory, and we found it does a great job at enhancing feel yet not changing it drastically as many other slit lines can. Finished in NiCr Satin with Copper Underlay it's final head weight comes out to 376g!
  20. Same here, not a fan of the numbers but it's Yururi so it will sell well. This is a brand we don't really promote hard yet somehow still sell over 1000pcs a year.
  21. Enjoy the pics
