shoe295 replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearI see..it helps if I read all the words in a post in order to fully comprehend what is being said, however my reading, like my swing, gets a little quick sometimes, we've had so much rain the last 24 hours I gotta go find my inflatable shoes..one of the course's I play is probably under water by now and more on the way.

shoe295 replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech Gear:roll:   " You bitch, why didn't you tell me it was a rum and coke" Just purchased the Cally driver for Kristin. Man I hope she doesn't outdrive me with it  Serious bag update at the end of the week. I'll post pics when everything gets here. 8) I'm posted at the front door for the delivery guy  LOL...great movie quote......isn't waiting for the delivery guy a lot like watching water boil...seems to slow everything down and take forever? I like serious updates..so much better than those trivial updates involving buying new tees... am anxious to see what you have in store..- Most overrated PGA proffessional current/all time?
I actually thought about Monty but he did a LOT on the European tour ..if only he didn't have to deal with the "fans" in the US he might have done something here...like Double A's quote its all about the 5 1/2 inches between the ears..- General BS Thread
shoe295 replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech Gearyour avatar would recognize a rambler..hell he probably HAD a Rambler - General BS Thread
shoe295 replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearActually I'm a Red Wings fan and have been since the original 6..but since the Flames beat the Wings I have to root for the Flames..besides..they have been playing incredible..how to you shut out Detroit twice 8O- Golf is a game of luck BULLS@*T
I have on certain days managed to beat "good", while I have never beaten "lucky"....but if the other guy is "good" enough I wind up getting my @** handed to me most of the time  - Most overrated PGA proffessional current/all time?
heh heh, I knew I was gonna piss someone off. Look, I'm looking at Palmer the golfer, not Palmer the legend. I do completely agree with you that Palmer brought golf to the masses, and that he had in incredible impact on the game. I think he was in incredible ambassador for the game, and he's done many incredible things. However Palmer as a golfer was completely overrated. Dont' get me wrong I like Palmer, however his swing was nasty and he lacked consistancy. Compare his game to some of the games greats like the ultimate human Bennie, Sam, or even Jack and I don't see how he stacks up. And look what he did with a nasty swing..won one more Open than Snead.....hummm....enough said bout Mr. Palmer..as for overrated today..I'd have to go with DLIII just because of the majors he hasn't won...over rated of all time is Tom Weiskopf...who always had the game and was gonna be one of the all time greats but had a large problem between the ears.. Billy Casper as most under rated gets my vote also..what a putting stroke that man had..amazing- Dual Wall Tourstage Prototype, X-Drive 2 and MR23 CB's 2005!

shoe295 replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearI saw Elvis at the local 7-11 store buying Ho Ho's and cigs..Jimmy Hoffa has been an integral part of Giants stadium for years so he ain't comin' back..figure the Andy Kaufman thing has to be a gag.. A Nash for you youngin's is an English manufactured Rambler, which was changed to AMC and finally purchased by Chrysler in the mid to late 70's if memory serves. Small 2 passenger, you could squeeze small children in the "back" seat if you wanted...resembled a bread box on wheels. Had a 17 inch steering wheel and a pull start, flat head 4, 3 on the column, nice little car for running around town... I promise to keep my references somewhat current from here on out..maybe - General BS Thread
shoe295 replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearThis post makes me feel so old right now it's not funny :( Actually it is just the first two lines that does it today . :( After playing in a 3 day tourney the last 3 days I feel close to 100 today , body and mind are a blank . I don't think I can take anymore advil to releive the pain either as then I would be way over the limit. But I will soldier on and more than likely do something real stupid today like maybe , PLAY again tonight  Yes virginia there are stupid golfer out there that just don't know when to quit and take a day or two off in a row    That's what winter is for...I thought you were in the Air Force? is it legal for you to say "soldier" :?: I once played with a guy who was 93...played 6 days a week cuz his clubs demanded a day off... what a character...- General BS Thread
shoe295 replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearJust needed to vent...nice to see that am not the only one with the consistancy of pudding...gonna miss that old car tho...4 members of the family learned to drive on that thing ..ah well ...pitch yips is what killed my front nine..over a par 5 in two by about 12 yds..on in 6 and 1 putt for the nicest 7 you ever say.  ....what a weinie........ I too hope my Scratch's will help the game..they seem to do a lot for others here so I'll just have to see... now if they fix my computer life will return to as it should be..confusing, agravating and seldom boring 8O- WTF?!
Not from SOME people! :D LOL... but that is one strange auction...I'd like to agree with Mike that the guy is taking off on the wedding dress deal..but this is a whole lot farther over the top..- General BS Thread
shoe295 replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearAt least it's been an interesting last few days..my computer shows me the blue screen of death when i start it up, I hate Bill Gates   , so now I can only access this place from work and they actually think I should work instead of read the stuff here..you'd think they paid me..oh yeah..they do........scratch that last rant sold my old 57 Nash and shot a semi psychotic 49-37 on Sunday..what the hell is that :?: ah well maybe the Flames will win the cup and life will be better..- General BS Thread
shoe295 replied to AKFLY's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech Gearwow that is a long time ago isn't it..I sort of missed a few years say from 1968-1985...was off planet......plus my sense of time is not so good.. so what your saying is that some of the guys on this site won't remember Billy Casper?...ohhhh 8O  - What is fair? Please LOOK!
I'm with you AKFLY just waitin' for competition to do its thing...I see nothing wrong with asking for 3K to see if someone will pay that. It becomes more interesting when you expect everyone else to ask the same outrageous price and nobody listens. A good rant always brings competitors around to your way of thinking  . at least it's good for a few laughs...thanks for bringing back the slam dunk FAQ... - Ranking Names and Pics
