An adjustible tee at a range !..that would be something..fortunately I live a block from the local 9 hole course's practice range so the only time I ever have to hit off a mat is when is cold and/or rainy. Hit ball higher than I ever do off grass.
  2. my apologies..will post a warning concerning nasty visuals next time
  3. Sorry am no help...don't watch much TV...and if you can't figure it out I would be even more lost.......
  4. I agree it is stunning, and yet I remember their first fight and Jones didn't look exceptionally good in that one which if memory serves he blamed on losing a lot of weight just before the fight. That smack Tarver gave him was a good one. Wonder it there'll be a rematch, although both these guys are kinda old, in my mind. Like that makes a difference..but I miss the days of Leonard/Hearns, Marvin Hagler, and all the other fighters that were worth watching. The whole sport is in such a sad state these days...ah well
  5. I guess a large jar of vaseline and a really big shoehorn would work..can't say what that would do to the upholtery tho?

No shame in not wanting to hit a fade...personally I am indifferent as to how it gets to the fairway as long as it is IN the fairway..of course if I hit a fade it is usually a mistake..but I feel no shame. thanks for the update..I am very interesting in how your wedges play when you get them back.

From reading Joe's thread about open faces hitting the ball lower I believe this means closed.
  8. Nothing wrong with that deal, was also very nice that they offered to do that essentially for free. Cheap way to let you have a good experience with them, I like that.
  9. At top speed of 192mph they'll never be late for donuts again :!: I feel honored to be in the company of so many mental giants.
  10. I like Mike's idea, that way you get both and two is always better than one when it comes to new stuff. But if you can only do one that would depend on how your current putter is treating you. If you still putt ok then get the wedge cuz with a good wedge you can always hit it close enough to kick it in the hole. I am terrible with these kind of decisions..after quadruple thinking them I still think I should have gone the other way. Luck to you
  11. those are just flat out weird looking...what's wrong with the classic looking stuff :?: ah well..they never ask me before they do this stuff so they must not care if I like it or not..
  12. I always used blinded by the glare as an excuse for missing the shot...or the "perfect excuse"........
  13. you might have to replace the rear window a lot though
  14. so if you eat Taco Bell and smoke big cigars would that solve the problem?

  20. Yeah, but it's probably gonna cost me a new driver for her. She's a Cally ho all the way. Have you hit the new GBB's? They seem to be going for a pretty reasonable rate. I think she might actually start practicing again b/c the last time we played I beat her by 5. She was none too happy. Just ONE driver? that be cheap...you could have to toss in a kitchen remodel or worse.. 8O
  21. Thanks Demoman..this is one of those topics that one minute I got it and the next I don't...but I think I understand better...yeah right  I appreciate the answer ...and am glad that you can crack yourself up..it's one of the things I do best myself..
  22. Demoman, help me see if I've got this right..so by rotating the clubhead just prior to striking the ball that open face and becomes square to closed which effectively delofts the club making the ball fly lower? so if someone who had a swing where they rotated thru like that started with a square to closed face would they not deloft that club also and hit a low screamer left? this would be because at impact the face would be more closed if I have this correct? then the reason open faces fly lower is not because it's open but because it has been swung in a manner which effectively closes up the face at impact? and why most guys can't hit open faces anywhere but high right is because they don't rotate enough thru impact... I am confused because it seems to me that if you can hit an open face lower because you deloft it during the swing then doesn't it follow that if you start with a closed face and swing the same way you hit a shot even lower and with more hook than a duck? assistance please
  23. that would indeed sir be heaven...I need to contemplate the Iron choice but you've definitely got the driver on the money :!: :!: thanks for the visual
