  1. I have a couple of wedges Im looking to get rid of. One is a Vokey chrome 52 degree with a R-300 and a 56 nickel just the head. Both are in excellent condition. Would trade for either one. Thanks, Grant
  2. Do they make anything different for the 983k? Thanks, G
  3. I thought I seen these posted a while back. I cant remember if they were tour covers or from japan spec. They have grey on the cover. I may need 2 but one for sure. Anyone know where I can get one? Thanks, G

Please email me and let me know what you want for it if you are willing to cash out of it. Whats the loft? Thanks, Grant. [email protected]
  5. Is it just common practice to insert shafts 1.75 to 2.00" on the titleist drivers? I reshafted mine 3 times last year and used the full insert and could never figure out why I couldnt work the ball from right to left. The balls would always cut right or go straight right. Wow, does this info help. I put S-flex, dropped to R-flex and was debating to put a A/L in the darn thing. Now I know whats up. Thanks all. G

Nick, Im not sure what type of head it is. I just looked at the Titleist web site and its gotta be a black nickel if anything. Im not a user of the Vokeys so I apologize for the lack of knowledge on my part. I can send out a pic if anyone wants. I would also be open to trades if someone has something they want to get rid of. Thanks. Grant

Hope Im not jumping in here. I have another method for turning down ferrules so theres no worry of scratching the hosel. I put a rubber cone thing I got at the hardware store in my electric drill and slide the ferrule over it. While holding 220 grit paper in the other hand, pull the trigger. Sand as far as you need. Install and finish with acetone. G

Where can we see pics? Thanks. G
  11. My buddies fell out now too. All that holds the port in is some 2 sided tape. Im going to epoxy it back in. I really am not sold on the club either. G
  12. tourspecgolfer, what other cool looking mizuno pics have you got laying around? I need a new set of Irons but all I can get is what Mizuno USA has available. Any sweet blades I havent seen? Thanks for all the great pics. G
  13. That is the Finest set of blades I have ever seen. Where can a guy get a set? Do I dare ask..... *quietly* (how much)? WOW they are spectacular!G

Our Rep came into our pro shop with one. I will preface this by saying I hate mallet putters. I looked at it and said...thats the ugliest putter I've seen next to the futura. Well I took it out and gave it a go for about ten minutes on the paractice greens and words cant explain how delighted I was. I started dropping puts from 5 feet then 10 and then everyhthing I aimed at. Im not sure if the planets were aligned or what, but all I can say is that the putter stays online durring the takeaway and continues to stay online the whole way through the stroke. Im not getting one because Im to lazy to put a head cover on my putter, but it sure was a treat to swing. I suggest trying one on the course because the retail golf shops have such fast carpet you dont ever really need to make a good pass at the ball, so you cant get a good feel. IMO Hope this helps out a bit, it also sounds like most green grass accounts wont have them in for a while..says the rep. Good Luck. G
  15. Sorry to jump in here but I have a couple of questions. I currently play mizuno MP-14's and have yet to hit a blade that feels as soft as mine. I am a Mizuno Iron fan foe life and if possible will play mizuno Irons until I'm hitting the big 19th hole in the sky. My question is: What blades does Mizuno produce (Japan or US made) that would be the most comparable. I dont like thick top lines like the 27 and the 33's seem to feel hard, much like the first new style Hogan blades. I have hit the 37's in a net, which doesnt tell a guy squat and I thought I was S.O.L. if I wanted new Mizuno Blades. Please tell me Mizuno japan has something that will fill the bill at a low pay, pro shop workers price. The pics you posted are heaven sent. Thank you. G
  16. Im looking for one now but I dont know what to offer you. Maybe I could ask what you would like to get out of it? What shape is it in? I work as an assistant professional so I could swap for most anything OEM that you may need. Email me: [email protected]. Thanks, Grant :D
  17. I am curious if the X300 FCI TM forged irons are similar or completely different than the two being compared here. Thanks G
  18. I would like to get some pics. [email protected] Thanks, Grant

Do you have a pic you could send me? [email protected] Thanks Grant
  20. Im fairly new here but have a bit of a mechanical background and have learned a lot through my reading on this wonderful forum. I have to ask... would shaft droop change enough in a club when switching from a certain shaft to a heavier shaft? Does it change because of the different SW? I was thinking that most people seem to change there swings to fit there clubs and figure out a way to manipulate there swing to make good contact. They do this for a couple of years and decide to try new shafts. If they didnt take into account swing weighting, could they possibly have a shaft that doesnt droop as much as there previous set and now are having problems with hossel shots? I think I went the long way to asking how much swing weighting affects shaft droop, so I apologize for the long post. Just thought it may be one of the reasons why the fellow whom posted earlier may be having problems. Sorry if im completely out in left field G

I just reshafted a friends 690.cb and it had a plastic dowel in the shaft which was broken and rattling, hence the reshaft. Honestly what wouldnt work in the shaft? Its just reducing vibration isnt it? Someone should try shooting some urethane rubber or caulking in the shaft before they glue it in. later, G

Im guessing your talking about double sided tape for installing grips. Many stores carry it but it seems like the easiest to just order a half dozen rolls for 20-25.00 from most any golf component company. The answer to your second question is yes. I buy a gallon of mineral spirits at any home depot or hardware store for $5-6.00. If your doing a lot of clubs, pick up a cheap, paint roller pan and a small funnel to reuse the excess. Just a thought. Good luck. G
  23. Anyone have something for trade? TTT
  24. Callaway Great Big Bertha 3 WOOD. In excellent condition with normal signs of use. NO skymarks! Its been in my shop for too long and I need to get rid of some stuff. Its comes with the Accuflex Vision shaft in a S flex but has been tipped for accuracy. This is one of the nicest GBB 3 woods Ive had. Im asking 90.00 for it, or best offer. I would also swap even up for an original steelhead 3 wood in excellent condition. (not the plus). Thanks Grant email: [email protected] Email for pics.
