  1. Some of the boutique stuff like TRPX, SDJ, Proceed, Mystery etc if they do attend. Girls are always welcome of course. You should;t need to ask about girls.
  2. I have their older dent back wedges. Great stuff!
  3. Swing is at the end of the day the main determinant. Hope these stay in my bag as long as the original egg ut did
  4. Thanks! I love Nor Cal and spent my undergrad days at USF! I think given the short time we have in the US this round, LA from Vegas may be better. Thanks for chiming in.
  5. Sharing some info I shared with Akapur: No new tech here. I think they are still using the same old managing steel they call super hyten. No special weighting in the heads like the Ryoma, still old school bore through hosel. BUTTTTTTTT…… against the PRGR EGG previous gen which I gamed for a very long while and am very very familiar with (in fact, it worked so well, it stayed in my bag the longest… close to 2 years or more I think.).. : 1. Lets do the easy BUT subjective part. Most say the 1st EGG I+ felt and sounded not the best. I said that in my review of it. If the feel of the I+ felt a tad dull and dead and the sound was a dullish click, the Tornado is quite near the opposite. 19* to 19*, the face feels a lot more explosive in the Kasco. Sound wise, the Kasco is a much higher pitched metallic sound. Now for the 16* KAsco though, its kinda weird. the sound and feel is a heavier, less high pitch but still metallic ting. Face feels tad harder. Go figure. 2. Forgiveness…Yes the I+ is forgiveness defined. The Tornado rivals that or perhaps surpasses that for me. Why? THe V shaped sole. Very very easy to hit off the deck the 19*. 16* being lower lofted is of course more demanding but not 3W demanding. Given the V shaped sole, for ball above/below feet, this is where is beats the I+ hands down. In the rough, the V-Sole also cuts through much better than the flat sole of the I+. This V-Sole I think is the only tech/design enhancement over original Super Hyten. And soley for this I rate the Power Tornado a far superior hybrid because ... 3. Distance… at least as long as the I+ off the tee and deck but off the deck, I would say longer due to point 2. Now .. we win;t talking 10 or 20 yards more but on average off the deck 5-8 yards more on average I would say yes. Off the tee, it can hold its own against a 3W very comfortably. 4. Ball flight… Tornado loft for loft launches a tad lower and I played the same shaft in both, the Fuji MCH. 16* has quite a bit of a lower flight. For me I would say 19* is mid and 16* is mid low but closer to mid off the deck. 5. Roll… 19* not that much and is great for attacking pins on long par 4s. 16*…. this thing is my Road Runner. 6. Misses.. my misses with the Egg I+ was pull hooks and for a fader, that's bad. I do NOT have that issue with the Tornadoes. I would say for every 10 pull hooks I had with the I+, I have 1 with the Tornado. For me that works great as I like to isolate my misses (as my swing seems to like them :-) to the right. This gives my game more consistency and predictability. The I+ as I mentioned I had in the bag for a very long time. I tried the Romaro i-Brid and Type R UTs but they didn;t last long as they gave me nothing over the I+, in fact detracted. I've sold off my I+ a while back and have had no need to look back. Not new tech but an extremely capable and consistent performer. Hopefully they stay for at least another 2 years.
  6. Had a round with the Crazy 435 and the Messenger 1st shaft. What can i say… it's probably the longest combo for me. Still to early to say if that's the case on a consistent basis but on a par 5 I'm very familiar with, it took me to where I have never been (still on the same fairway of course :-) Interesting to note that it changed the sound of the 435 compared to my TJ46. Still metallic but a lower pitch metallic. Also, when spining the shaft, this is as close to a spine-less shaft as I have come and that for me is a sign of very very high quality and craftsmanship when the sheets are rolled. Also, this is a Messenger Stiff which Tario says is 10 CPM more than the Messenger SR in my S-013. In my hands, I would say the TJ46 6.4 maybe plays only a tad softer but not that much. Glad I got the Messenger for the Crazy 435! Its my longest combo by my mortal standards but the 435 long as it is, still loses out to the S-013 forgiveness wise. Given the less forgiving nature of the 435, perhaps its also better that I have a stiffer than normal (for me) shaft in it to help with the dispersion. That it went as long as it did was a very pleasant surprise. Ball flight is also lower than the TJ46 but just a tad. Happy camper here… now I just gotta figure out a cheesy nick for the 435 Messenger combo!
  7. Fantastic looking wedges ash! Congrats! Clean and serious looking. All business!
  8. I've said it several times earlier about the maxima... It's a finicky head and extremely shaft sensitive and not the easiest to fit for but when you do find the right combo for your swing, it's very long! Mygreen, skip the lm, it's what happens on the course that matters. Glad you found the right shaft combo for your swing. Play well and score low!
  9. Then perhaps the deeper new PZ mill may suit you better. That's a really heavy head weight. Look in this forum to see what mygreenalien (I think) has done. He went down a similar route with a really heavy head and shorter length as well.
  10. THe 209J looks very nice and so so they wedges.
  11. For me, the older original horizontal PZ mill. I find the new PZ mill too mushy (just me of course) and I prefer a firmer feel for better feedback. Solely from GF, I also find the roll produced by this mill to give a better roll and I have tried both the old and new mill side by side and both had the same loft as well from what I recall. It really depends on your stroke and what you prefer feel wise. I know many here prefer the new PZ mill.
  12. Just took this out again as part of the 2 week rotation policy now. Still putting well. 29 putts. Can;t fault that. Wish I could say the same for my tee shots LOL.
  13. I know Kamen. No worries dealing with him.
  14. That's what I was hoping for but apparently due to the existing soft black finish, it needs to be refinished as well. I would have thought just adding the sole oribtal weights could be done without refinishing.
  15. Have dealt with nudgee before. No worries with him. Glws!
  16. Selling a set of DWD 52, 56 and 60 wedge HEADS only. These are Japan forged and I think Toyoshima had a hand in these as well so I read here. Not sure though. Paint fill have been removed and there is some bag chatter. The 60 is what I used for bunker play so no surprise that the most sole wear is on the 60. The black stuff you see in the face grooves is dirt and will come out with water and a brush. As you can see as well, grooves are still in good shape and have lots of life left in them. This is a great set of wedges. Very versatile and solid. A played set in good condition with lots of spin and control left in them. $490 for the 3 wedge HEADs shipped airpost with track and paypaled. Insurance extra. Sold as a set only. Thanks for looking.
  17. Thanks Chris. Not sure what to call the mill but its the earlier days mill :-) Some how, it feels softer than my first PS2. Could be be done to the sound slot which is suppposed to have the opposite effect? Or perhaps down to the face mill. Head weight is on the light side and I was thinking on putting on the Orbital G logo weights to get the weight up but T says this will need to be refinished given the current finish and I'm not sure I want to spend the coin for now.
  18. Just got this in. My second GF PS2 but this time with a sound slot, tungsten weights in the face, a bit of bling in the cavity back and what looks to be a light pz mill. I've put in a spare pulled NS PRO XXIP-C2 shaft which needed a shim due to the smaller diameter and my normal Iomic Absolute grip. The NSPro heavy shafts by the way are what I think to be the best putter shafts around. Great feel and feedback at the hands. Only wish they had black versions for my Machine and incoming Nead Damascus. On the putting mat, feel and roll is good enough. Let's hope it stays this time round.
