I still play the Quadra 752 but also have a spare set of 652 SR flex 5-PW set for sale. I know its a plug but since you asked :-). Quadras for me are very smooth, tight and at least as long as the NS pro 750 I played. Key thing is they are mid kick and ball flight is lower than the 750 and also a lot better dispersion wise. If you;re interested in the 652s, drop me a PM :-)

If you like bigger and already like the Epon 208, why not the latest Epon wedge?

Have a few rounds in with the 19 and a couple with the 16. Initial assessment of the 19 in that it's long and forgiving still holds. Very good out of rough as well and given the V sole, up/down hill lies are much better served. The 16 given the lower loft is more demanding than the 19. That I guess is to be expected. Flight is much lower than the 19. Piercing is what some would describe it as but not worn burining low. Über run and very long off the tee. Out drove some guys using a longer length and stronger lofted 15* 3W. Both have the MCH 70 shaft. Good head shaft combo I think. No new tech in this head I don't think but the results are there. Worth a consideration if you're looking for a hybrid.

I think akapur mentioned this to be the case. I think he also said it's higher launching loft for loft?

Looks like there is a serial on the hosel which while not a 100% guarantee of authenticity is better than without serial which unfortunately there are many around.

Nope… I've tried the TP07S and the KPX…found the face too hard feeling and conventional wisdom says I've not enough swing speed but I get along fine with my 435 which conventional wisdom also says requires a faster swing speed. Also, I think all current tech drivers are maxed out and its down to finding the right shaft combo which we all know. Even if its longer, I doubt its 10 yards longer consistently. If someone wants to send me a demo, I'd be more than willing to try it :-)

Maybe I should resurrect the A1SP. Definitely needs a new insert though and more weight… and a refinish… and a sightline...

Also, do inserts feel less solid than one piece heads? I never got a solid feel with my GD A1SP.

Thanks for the write up. Interesting that the Touale SX combo was longest for you. T advises that the Touale SX is the same cpm as the messenger sr which is not stiff at all. Maybe you've been playing with too heavy and overly stiff shafts all this while :-)
