I have tried just about every 400+ CC driver out there trying to unseat my Taylor Made 300(360CC) Tour driver. The smaller heads/solid feel and sound just suit me I guess. The big drawback folks mention with the smaller heads is the forgiveness factor but if you aren't comfortable than it doesn't matter how forgiving a driver might be. The Mizuno JPX E310 is one solid driver...Gocchin--paypal is loaded if/when you are ready to part with it.

I tried them in a set of Miura 202's--stiff flex. My ss is around 100 with the driver. Too much shaft for me. In my experience they launched lower than S300 with a stouter feel. Sold em after a few rounds.

I have had several sets and they were all taper (.355)

Been a couple years since I played the UT but the Altus definitely launches higher. Both are smooth in terms of feel.

Played em both and prefer the UT-85 by a mile. The 904HB is medium launch and very boardy feeling. Playing an Altus HB in my one and only hybrid now and it beats em both.

Chris has a brand new set with Nippon 1150's on ebay along with a list of several other goodies including a set of Tour Spec Epons(Type J). I am at $1100 on the ON/Offs but have not met the reserve...yet.

Lamkin Red Torsion Dual Density Interested in trying the Nowon but damn $20/grip plus shipping is alot if I end up liking em.
