I paid $400 for mine a couple years ago...slightly used. I flew all over the place with it and shows some wear but structurally is in great shape. Very well made bag.

5.0 is regular flex Different animal than Nippon in terms of feel. Nippons much smoother at least in my experience.

Here is my take and there are certainly other's opinions that will differ...Do they work for you? If yes, who cares if they are a hot topic on boards or on tour. The hot items come and go and would drive yourself crazy trying to keep up. 2 years ago it was the Gauge NC-1's now it is EPON and next year it will be something else. Play what works for you and gives you the best chance to beat your buds.

I am a little confused by this thread. When the J's came out they were viewed as a player's cb without question and based on what I have read and pics seen they are identical to the 301's. I had a set of the J's and in my view were a player's cb. Are they not the same club other than cosmetics?

I played no less than 5 Epon 460 10.5/shaft combos this year and all were different in terms of distance with the Accra SC65 being the longest. I didn't find them to be significantly shorter or longer than the numerous drivers I played this year from the major US OEMs. All comes down to the shaft fitting your swing profile and more importantly having confidence in the club. As far as irons, it's impossible to compare distances as the lofts are all over the place. There is no standard. My friend plays TM RAC CGB's and hits his PW 145-150 yards but if he was playing Titleist 690CBs he would likely hit an 8 iron from that yardage. Just my .02

From the pics in the Pro Shop the sole if the 701 looks quite a bit smaller than the original X or S. Am I correct? I like look of the 701.

I sold G the Pro II's and were basically new when I sold them. $700 is a bargain plus G ships quick and always throws in some nice baked goods.

I have not but Tbone had a set and Gocchin has hit them. I just like their looks.
