DAMN YOU!!!!!! I'm gonna gonna hafta swing a bit easier & try out the pitch shots today to see if I have the same problem. Today will be the 1st time in a month I am using the TC x1's. I didn't get them in the wedges because obviously those are the 2 clubs I try to hit low punch shots with anyways. I'll post my lil review on the TC's in my new sticks.

its a proto of the r510, i believe it is .330cc. its no different than the 510, but its just cool to have this driver because there aren't many r500 drivers out there oh ok, thanks Homstylz :cool: no problem, thats what im here for, i can tell you one thing, if i could find a brand new 500 id hit it!!!!!

there was a gain with the Avix but it was minimal, maybe 5 yards give or take. i think my diamana was tighter feeling but it is tipped 2" as the Avix was only tipped 1/2". if i were to do it again id tip it the same amount & try it again which i may do after my 1st 2 events as i have a 3 week layoff in between. its a tough choice because they are both incredible shafts but id stick with the diamana.

yes, she made the switch this tourney. she has used 3 sets of irons this year, x-tours, x-14, & x-18's. she started off the year with a win with the x-tours, changed back to the x-14's to win the LPGA's 1st major of the year & last week was the 1st tournament using the new x-18's. i read that she has changed because she likes the ball flight & she really likes the flight of her 4/5 irons with this set. pretty crazy shes one 6 of her last 7 events using 3 sets of irons. pick up a golf world, they did an artical about her changes last week,

they were in my TP2 irons but i went back to the DG x100's because they felt too soft & the ball was aballooning on punch shots. i believe some of this had to do because it is a cavity back iron but ive got another set of TC x1's coming in my Scratch blades that will be here tomorrow, FINALLY!!!! the TS's are great shafts, they just didn't work well on these irons, i think it will be different as i will be able to control the ball flight better with these blades. thats the last time i goto a set of semi-cavity backs!

definatly go with the orange one! its LOUD!!! i had one in my R5 TP for a little while & it was a great feeling shaft, the only reason i went back to the diamana was because i didn't wanna take the time to adapt to another shaft, i wanted to stay with something i knew with 2 weeks until my 1st tour event.

the original r540 has titanium on the toe, only the xd's have the TP crest

the "tour" holy grails are only .335 tip. also you can tell if its a tour buy the "tour" on the toe of the club, it is in black unlike the retail silver, most of the ones i have seen & the brand new 10.5 i have doesn't have an "r" before the 300 & it is a 360cc head.

im so pissed Sergio pulled a Greg Norman & gave up a six stroke lead, ever since i met him at TM he's been my favorite golfer. IMO, he'll have a few major in the next couple of years, he's only 25. by the time im his age hopefully ill have my PGA tour card!

i liked my R7 shallow TP over my df R7 TP, but we all know these were dumped for the R5 dual TP

hey everyone, here are pictures of my new Scratch blades. 3-9 tour blades & 48/53/58 Scratch wedges, they are in a new prototype black finish, sopposed to last longer & from what I know they are dipped 4 times instead of the 3times for the 3x black finish, they yet have a name for it. I will post how I like them, I'm off to practice now.

they would not replace the head nor give you a retail head, they were never released to the public & TM treats them as "hot" goods

the XD TP's are nice drivers, but they were weak as hell, caved in a total of 7 heads in 5 months of use, incliding 4 in 3weeks, i like the driver alot but it gets fustraiting changing drivers every couple of weeks. everyone caved towars the toe area for some reason, but i guess thats going to happen with a SS of 120+. so far no problems with my R5 TP's thank god
