  1. These are the Hot new Drivers in Japan: - X-Drive 2 365cc - Tourstage ViQ 450cc - Srixon W505 ( Custom Face Angle Available ) - Nike DFI 395/460 - Callaway X-18 - Callaway ERC HOT - Taylormade R7-XR - Works Golf V-01R - OnOFF MP605D ( Custom Face Angle Available ) If you want something "HOT", try the OnOFF. They have the highest C.O.R. at .89 I believe. I love the looks of the driver but have sworn off HiCOR drivers in preparation for the Asian Senior HGA (Hackers' Golf Association) The OnOFF Plus Series Black is a beauty (MP-605D is the shaft model number); http://www.daiwaseiko.co.jp/onoff/product/...er/index07.html
  2. Wondering if anyone else has seen a pic from the face angle (not the website). Is it just me or does the shape really resemble a brick? Very weird looking. Looks pretty similar to the W404 if you disregard the weight ports. Don't burst my bubble! I've ordered one :surprize:  Never seen the 404 from the face but the 505 really looks like a modified brick with a graphite stick attached. No matter - I'm sure it'll be up in b/s/t soon enough. Everyone knows the only club that stays in D's bag is the airmuscle  :finger:
  3. Tempting offer... :finger:
  4. PRICE DROP on the i404s to $750 shipped (Paypal add 4%). Again, the specs are; 3-PW, AW, SW w/ NS Pro Tour 1150 stiff. The irons are standard lie but the length is 0.5” over Japanese standard (which is shorter than US standard). The club lengths (as measured to butt-end of the grip, not shaft end) are; 3 iron = 39.25”, 4 iron = 38.75”, 5 iron = 38.25”, 6 iron = 37.75”, 7 iron = 37.25”, 8 iron = 36.75’, 9 iron = 36.25”, PW+AW+SW = 35.75” Original Srixon Crossline grips in perfect condition, D2 swing weight. Got lots of pics so email me if you would like them. The set is solid but the HO in me NEEDS to get a set of i505s  Any question better to email me: [email protected]

  6. Great pics. I still prefer the i505s even though I might not get them. Am I biased or do the US irons just not look as well made as the Japanese?? :surprize:

Diamanas have a pretty active tip I believe so, in my opinion, a Diamana 103 might be suitable for a hybrid. The 103 is stated as being an excellent fairway wood shaft so it should work in a hybrid. Only available in the US I think.
  8. Yeah they have both models. I think the weight cannot be moved - hope Chris can confirm the details. For everyone interested, I believe Chris can order custom face angles from Srixon... The W302 and W404 were real solid drivers and I can't imagine the W505 to be anything less. I'm getting one
  9. You're right, the progression numbers do look similar. I only looked at their stock photo and it just appeared that the i505 offset was more pronounced. Thanks for picking up on that.
  10. Absolutely. Although I'm sure the i505s perform, i'm kind of glad there have been no takers for my i404s
  11. Srixon has finally announced their new products which include the W-505 driver, Z-Steel fairway woods, and i505 irons. The W-505 incorporates a 5 gram weight in the sole plate. From what I can gather, this weight is fixed depending on the loft: in the toe for the 10.5*, mid-sole for the 9.5*, and in the heel for the 8.5*. I have translated the info but would like Chris to confirm this once he reads the actual info in Japanese. The Z-Steel fairway woods feature a maraging face and mid-profile. Similar characteristics to the Gauge GAF-1 I believe? The i505 irons look remarkably similar to the Tourstage X-Blade CBs... Here is the page for all the info: http://golf.dunlop.co.jp/srixon/sri_club.html Enjoy
  12. Ok - final attempt at a rock bottom price of $899 :fever: Any enquiries please email me - [email protected] Somebody make me an offer...I might be in a good mood :surprize:
  13. Get your money back from that pro and find a new one
  14. Not rare when released but not easy to find a new one nowadays.
  15. I'm a huge fan of that head shape. Have a CT Del Mar 3.5 3XB SSS which is a beauty and putts real nice. Decided to preserve it for the future. Have had a Tourstage with that head shape which sits in the office for me to use when I'm "thinking". Have also tried the Never Compromise #4 which is also nice. BUT, I recently managed to get a hold of a rare Gauge Handmade Forged L which is more or less like the Del Mar 3.5 with very slightly sharper lines. Put it in play recently and I absolutely love it. Black with triple sight lines is exactly what I like and the putter feels real soft. I've been searching for a back-up already. Ask Chris if he can locate one for you.

Finally something's happening in the golf equipment world! Those MP60s indeed look very nice. With Srixon about to release their new W505 driver and i505 irons, and the Gauge NC-1s, I'm back in HOing mode  Have to dispose of my i404s first... Regarding the MP60s, I hope they are an improvement over the MP32s which, even though they're good, didn't overly impress me when I demoed them. Would love to see comparison pics between the MP60s and the MP27s.
  18. The Srixon i404s are still available. Don't forget this is a unique set including the AW and SW (10 clubs) all shafted with NS Pro Tour 1150 stiff shafts. The wedges are excellent in themselves and match up with the irons perfectly. $999 shipped and Paypaled is a real steal imo but i'll entertain any reasonable offer.
  19. Don't be shy...feel free to make reasonable offers
  20. Would also consider selling the AXIV alone for $190 shipped and Paypaled
  21. Getting bored so I need new equipment and want to dispose of these; 1) Tourstage X-Drive 405 HR 9.5* w/ AXIV 6564M (tipped 1 inch). Head is in 8.5/10 and shaft is brand new. Asking $599 shipped and Paypaled. Will also sell the Graphite Design Tour AD M-65 stiff pulled from the X-Drive for $100 to anyone who buys the X-Drive if they want it. 2) Srixon i404 3-SW (10 clubs) newly shafted with NS Pro Tour 1150 stiff shafts. This is an awesome set of CBs and the shafts are so solid and long. I'm preparing for a new set of customs which will definitely have the 1150s in them as well. Set is in 9/10 condition except for the 6 iron which has a small ding at the point where the leading edge meets the sole, middle of the club head. Doesn't affect play whatsoever since it's been like that for a while. Asking $999 shipped and Paypaled for this set of 10 clubs. Brand new the set would cost $1,300+ without shipping. 3) Also a Cameron RedX 3XB, 34". This one is unique as the sole plate has also been finished in black and is simply a beauty. Condition is 9/10. You will be hard pressed to find another one like it even on Ebay. Asking $349 shipped and Paypaled. 4) Also have a Never Compromise Milled #4 and an Odyssey White Steel #5. Both are in 9.5/10 condition. Take both for $210 shipped and Paypaled. Anyone buying either the X-Drive or the i404s will get 2 brand new sleeves of Tourstage X-01S balls as bonus. Anyone wanting to take the driver and the irons will get a 10% discount and the dozen X-01S balls. Anyone interested in taking the 3 putters can have all 3 for $499 shipped and Paypaled. Not looking for partial trades but feel free to make offers for any combination of the above. Best to email me: [email protected] Thanks for looking.
  22. Great set of sticks. Almost wanted to buy a back up set.

I'm not sure about tip area. Regardless, and as you say, tipping another half inch wouldn't help much. Thanks.

I had been using G1 Golf for a long time. Their clubmaker who recently left was unbelievable. Never seen work as good as his. He went to a shop in Macau but is now back in HK. He will again be doing work for me from now on but we have to sort out the logistics of where. If we manage to get a system going, i'll let you know. Otherwise, IYG and Central Golf should be good enough in the meantime.
