  1. :tsg_smilie_cool: Gotta say Henry you are in the right place. Wrongly or rightly in my view products are produced for particular markets. Dare I say it, the manufacturers representatives are their to promote their products. Have a good look in the pro shop on the site. If there is something you like, buy it from Chris.
  2. :tsg_smiley_yes: Well Chris, I know I'm jumping the gun on this one, however most of us now use a utility. In my view this is pretty much the ultimate comparison. Perhaps throw in the 320. Your views would be appreciated.
  3. Chris, in the original post you had an actual photo of the crown of the new VIQ driver, are you able to repost it?
  4. Joe I understand what spined is, but could you give a more detailed explanation of puring/floing?
  5. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Mizuno and Gauge make the best irons in the world. Where ever those Mizunos find their new home, they will be greatly appreciated!!! :tsg_smiley_yes:
  6. :tsg_smilie_cool: Looks pretty classy to me. As soon as you have some information on the utility Chris, could you post that also? Looks like next year is going to be a great year for golf equipment, particularly GD. :tsg_smiley_yes: Chris, I'm going to be cheeky and ask you to post your current bag. I will only speak for myself, but it sounds very snazzi. VERY SNAZZI!!
  7. :tsg_smilie_cool: Great bag. A club manufacturer making their own iron covers. Now that is class. Mate there is many a good round in that bag!!
  8. :tsg_smilie_cool: The new VIQ driver has all the modern technology, including the space age sole, however the most impressive aspect for me in the traditional shape, looking down at the crown at address. In my view the shape of the club inspires confidence. A real winner.
  9. :tsg_smilie_cool: Hit an 80 yard pitch with the GAS1 last weekend, during the round. It flew 20 feet over the pin and sucked back to a couple of feet. If you really want to have some fun with the short game, the GAS1 is the club!!
  10. :tsg_smilie_cool: The choice in shafts, particularly driver shafts is now pretty amazing. The one thing I would encourage all who are buying a new shaft is to go to and get themselves tested for swing speed. Mine is 108mph with the driver. Once you know what it is, post your details on the site. The members will give you some recommendations. After that email Chris and he'll will outline the best shaft options to maximize distance and accuracy.
  11. :tsg_smilie_cool: :tsg_smilie_cool: Chris, I'm in. Great contest. Thanks to yourself and the sponsors for putting it on!!
  12. :tsg_smilie_cool: I second that!!!
  13. Plus 1, you have used the Graphite Design shafts in the past, care to comment on their performance?
  14. Perhaps throw the Mizuno MP 60s into the mix. Chris could arrange for these or the Gauge's for you.
  15. Certainly looks like a quality product. 16 January is probably going to take a while to roll round. :tsg_smiley_yes:
  16. Phillip Alexander replied to matt411's post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
:tsg_smilie_confused: C'mon Chris, photos and a product review is the minimum required when the "boss" changes his clubs. I am always interested in what you have in your bag, not to mention all the other members of the site.
  17. :tsg_smilie_cool: Hey good question. I have a Wilson 8802 and a Bettinardi BB2, but I would be interested in what the imported manufacturers have to offer in this area.
  18. Freddiec, those clubs look sweeeet! However a little more information would be good. What have they done for your game, how do they feel, how forgiving, how workable..........you get the idea.
  19. Plus 1, I've already said my piece. Two free samples for TSG. One for you, one for Chris. If you and Chris like them, they could sell THOUSANDS. If I was the manufacturer I'd take the punt! :tsg_smilie_rolleyes:
  20. Mate, this is not everybodys choice, however I love my Bang-o-matic. I use the 15*, and it is real easy to hit (and long). The other one that has caught my eye, is the new Taylor V2. Chris has these available in the pro shop. They look like a winner to me :tsg_smilie_cool:
  21. Based on the exposure the TSG site could give these people, maybe you should ask for a couple of free samples. :tsg_smiley_yes:
  22. I had a Homna driver prior to my current one, and I've got to say it was very good. Nice square head and good distance, especially off the top half of the clubface. The new 3 woods look pretty sexy :tsg_smilie_cool:
  23. :tsg_smilie_confused: Any further comment on the ozik shaft? Chris, I know you like steel shafts in your fairway woods, however would you like to comment on the Axiv in the driver and Diamana red in the 3 wood combo? :tsg_smiley_yes:
  24. :tsg_smilie_cool: This may not be the right word, however the Axiv sounds more exciting. Each to their own, but I think that big kick in the hitting zone would be pretty cool.
  25. The red sounds like a better shaft than the blue. The hard question. Diamana red or Axiv? Over to you Chris.
