  1. From where this thread started from a day or so ago, Chris, you are a complete genius. I can understand the members in the states wanting to get their hands on this, it looks like a beauty!
  2. Good looking driver
  3. Like the grind on the GAS2. I'm sure you will give us a report if you buy them taipanli
  4. Good feedback, as always!
  5. Compared to DGs, approximately what flex would the stiff 1150 GH be?
  6. Guys, just recently pulled an old Wilson Dyna Powered wedge out of the garage. Had a few chips in the park and it felt great. The grooves are of course just about worn out, however if could have them CNCed at Goldsmith they would be as good as new. Do you believe Golfsmith to be the best option?
  7. Thanks for the response plus 1. If you move on from the viq, pm me
  8. Good looking 3 wood! Very interesting information about TMs inventory in the States.
  9. Plus 1, you obviously like the viq, however what benefits does it provide that you felt were missing in the KZG?
  10. Good looking 3 wood. Any photos of the crown, just to get an idea of how it sets up at address.
  11. Plus 1, I am currently using a KZG Gemini 355. I've had the Gemini about 6 months. Prior to the Gemini, I used a Homna Twin Marks 300 for about 3 years. Interestingly the thing that sold me on the Gemini was just how solid it felt. I suspect this is because of the dual face technology. The Homna felt tinny to hit in comparison. That said the Homna face was dead square and the Gemini face is closed. The closed face on the Gemini didn't worry me initially, however it is starting to annoy me. If the Gemini had a square face like the Homna it would be close to perfect. I don't know why most of the manufacturers make closed faces, however in my view they would sell more if they were all square. A ho's work is never done, the next driver will probaly be bigger again, square face and the solid feel of the Gemini. Still researching the perfect shaft to put in it!
  12. I am also particularly interested in the grinds on the wedges!
  13. Funny thing my heads get bigger every time I buy a driver, however I'm "only" at 355 at the moment and loving it. That said the next one will be bigger!!
  14. i'm pretty sure kyoei did the forgings for the proto, retail and studio nc1 and '05 mb. all the "heads only" i've seen come in a kyoei plastic sleeve and sticker with all the specs printed on it. Well, lets ask the question, can you order the nc1s in custom loft and lies?
  15. :wah: Ahhh.............so many clubs, so little time!
  16. Good looking woods!!
  17. :wah: You guys are killing me. I first starting using Mizuno, because Nick Faldo was using Mizuno, and at the time he was winning more than his share of majors. These Gauge clubs are unbelievable  Does anyone know the history of the company? The relationship between Gold's Factory and Gauge Design?
  18. My advice would be to get a cpm read out once the shaft is installed. If you know a good clubmaker he may test a couple for you. I guess the jist of the whole thread is the Diamanas play softer than label.
  19. Well plus 1 does your father play golf?
  20. Good old Ely used to label shafts stronger than what they really were.............. the more things change the more they stay the same!!
  21. Guys you are just killling me. No more needs to be said. Chris I'll send you a pm with a few pertinent questions
  22. Hey plus 1, I know this is pedantic, but could you list the actual lofts of each one NC1s?
  23. As usual Plus 1 a good report. I take it the hand mades can be customised loft wise?
  24. Well guys here we go. I am a dedicated Mizuno man, however Jedi & Plus 1 place the NC1s above all others. Jedi owns the site and as far as I'm concerned he is very unbiased, to the point of being complimentary about one model from a manufacturer and less than complimentary about another model. Plus 1 wins Ho of the year, but he also is very subjective and loves to talk about features and benefits of various brands and models. I've played Mizuno irons since 1992, and have been nothing less than impressed the whole time. Of course there has been some less than impressive swings, but hey that ain't the clubs fault. On the basis that the NC1s are the ants pants, why are they the ants pants? Please feel free to provide as much information as possible. As for Plus 1s hand made studio NC1s, the sooner these are posted in the WITB the better! Guys also interested in the lofts of the various NC1 irons. My mizzys have very specific lofts. You have really hooked me in on these. Look forward to the responses
  25. It sounds like the 1150 tours are the go! Just my 2 cents worth.
