  1. Hey, Aussie Freddie, have a look at Chris' post on the "ONE" by gauge. Now that's a putter!
  2. Chris, I'm a traditional blade man ie Bettinardi BB2, however the "ONE" is HOT :fever: BTW what weight is the head?
  3. Phillip Alexander replied to chiuyaa's post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Those triple sole wedges look pretty funky  Phil is a WEDGE HO.
  4. Plus 1, you really are a club ho...........keep up the good work
  5. Mr Zodia, what kick point do you have in yours. I have tried a Grafalloy pro-launch and liked the low kick point Cheers, Phil
  6. Currently play a Harrison Pro 2.5. It is just a little weak. The cpm is 230, but probably needs to be in the 245-250 range. A smooth swing hits it straight, however an aggresive swing tends to block it. The technology on this shaft may be a little outdated. The Axiv does sound on the money. Is there a differnce between NS Pros and NS Tour shafts?
  7. Sounds like a great shaft. Ok guys down to the nitty gritty. Can I get some idea of shaft weights and stiffness of the various models. As I have stated previously my swing speed with the driver is 108 mph. Looking for a recommendation.
  8. If the shafts are are hard stepped, what shaft do you use for the wedges, on the premise the wedge shaft goes into the 9 iron?
  9. How does the ozik shaft vary from the diamana?
  10. Thanks plus 1, I'm on the case. I'll let you know how they go once installed.
  11. Guys just a couple of questions. What is the difference between hard stepped and soft stepped? Secondly how does the weight compare between say DG 400s, Rifle 6.0 and NS Pro 1150? My swing speed with the driver is 108 mph. What is your recommendation for NS Pros for my irons.
  12. Interesting that most of you guys already have some of the dream clubs in your bag. My bag is pretty much set as well, although I would like to improve what I already have. Currently have a KZG Gemini, however I am thinking of changing the shaft to an accuflex. Also like the look of the Bangster OL. I'll just see what happens here. Bang-O-Matic 3wood. I just love this club. Although it has a deep face, it is very easy to hit long and straight. Shaft Grafalloy pro-lite. The hybrid I am going to replace with a Mizuno UX2. Great looking club. Currently use Mizuno MP11. Love the heads. Fantasy irons would be a set of Custom Grind Mizuno TN87. My irons are going to be reshafted with NS Pros. Just working out what weight. Currently use Bettinardi wedges. Nearly holed a couple of 100 yard approach shots with the 56 yesterday. Undrstandably these are sold out on the Bettinardi site. Also like the look and reports that Scratch wedges are getting on the site. Current putter BB2. Fantasy putter George Low Wizard (just like the one Jack Niclaus won most of his majors with). The BB2 is going to have its shaft filled with sand and a counter balance plug inserted into the grip. Grip would be a C-Thru with he logo of the annual boys golf trip on it. I am going to buy some Iomic grips, just because you guys say their great. Caddie: Angelina Jole Course: Barnbougle Dunes, Tasmania, Australia. 2 years ago there was just Dunes. 1 year ago the course opened. This year the course is rated 49th in the world. Hey give it 5 years.
  13. No current bids on ebay....................guess that says it all
  14. There appears to be a plug in the top of Tigers putter grip. Apparently Jack Nicklaus used to counter balance all his clubs. Quite an interesting subject this one. On a lighter note Betti was behaving herself yesterday afternoon, however I left 4 or 5 on the lip. Should have fillied the shaft with sand prior to the round. Probably would have made them and shot four or five better. On the basis of the counter balance plugs, any ideas what wuld be a good weight for a 35 inch putter?
  15. jt916 you maybe on to something here. I went out and played yesterday afternoon, and whilst I hit the ball pretty good my beloved BB2 was misbehaving. Ended up practicing my putting till it was pitch black. Eventually it got a bit better. To be honest when I putt poorly I feel the putter is a little light. Probably only psycological, but hey psycology is 95% of this game. Looks like the grip will becoming off the Bettinardi, and the shaft will be filled with sand. Did you notice any difference to the balance of the putter once you filled the shaft with sand?
  16. All right guys, which shaft do you think produces the longest drives. I am after something that will really smoke it!
  17. Does anyone have a recommendation as to a good heavy putter shaft for a blade putter? My shaft feels a bit light. Also see that Wilson are now promoting a counter weight in their grips. Having tested one of these it does seem to make the putter feel more balanced.
  18. Does the cpms vary on the NS Pro shafts depending on shaft weight. Does anyone have a rough idea of what the various cpms are on the stiff iron shafts? Also for those of you who have tried the 750 wraps, are they significantly longer than say the 850s?
  19. Thanks Pittbull.
  20. Pitbull, how does the Cameron Nappa compare with the Bettinardi BB2? Also what is the blade putter with the black ferrule with the two red rings?
  21. We all have our own preferances for particular grinds on our irons. That said isn't it great that Mizuno and TSG can accomodate those preferances.
  22. Hey plus1, what time is it in Ireland at the moment?
