Gemini vs. Nakashima
OK guys, I'm getting kind of fed up with my K. I even tried it w/an NV, but it just gave me more roll, not carry. I want a bomber for a 100mph swing speed (although that may be an oxymoron :P ) I haven't hit either of these clubs, so my choice is going to be made on feedback, advice, etc. I've heard the Gemini is consistent, but I don't know if it's long. I've heard the Nakashima is gorgeous and more workable and looooong if you hit it. I'm looking for the most length I can get with an easier swing and wind up in the short grass. I was thinking about the 26.3 or the 27.3 Fujis stiff (play a YS-6 Stiff now). Help me out! Thanks.

R7 Tour Review
GREAT POINT Chris. I think that'd mess with my head. I'm a 'fiddler'. If something is adjustable, I'll keep adjusting it. I think this driver would cause my head more problems than it may be worth!!

opinions about the TM Lehman grinds or 300 tour irons?
Pretty ironic since Lehman hasn't won anything in years!!! :P

miura CB-201s ?
Paul's a great guy. I'm demoing a 7i blade from him soon. Can I ask what shafts? (I'm looking at 1050s or the TT TX 90s). What do you think of the clubs and could a 10-capper handle them??? Thanks.

Srixon UR-X Ball
As of now I don't spin the crap out of a ball. At least not all the time. Well, that might change with the arrival of my new Scratch wedges... In any case, I'm intrigued enough to give the URX a try when we finally can play here. In the meantime if anybody has some updates on the diff between the URX and the HX Tour, I would apppreciate it. As always! Thanks, haribo Never thought I did, but I guess I do spin the crap out of the ball. I can back up rock hard range balls w/a sand wedge & gap wedge, so I guess I do spin the crap out of it. I really should shoot better scores than I do

Tastless Golf Joke - Enjoy
HipCheck posted a post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearAn American golfer playing in Ireland hooked his drive into the woods. Looking for his ball, he found a little Leprechaun flat on his back, a big bump on his head and the golfer's ball beside him. Horrified, the golfer got his water bottle from the cart and poured it over the little guy, reviving him. "Arrgh! What happened?" the Leprechaun asked. "Oh, I see. Well, ye got me fair and square. Ye get three wishes, so whaddya want?" "Thank God, you're all right!" the golfer answers in relief. "I don't want anything. I'm just glad you're OK, and I apologize. I really didn't mean to hit you." And the golfer walks off. "What a nice guy," the Leprechaun says to himself. "But it was fair and square that he got me, and I have to do something for him. I'll give him the three things I would want....a great golf game, all the money he ever needs, and a fantastic sex life." A year goes by (as it does in stories like this) and the American golfer is back. On the same hole, he again hits a bad drive into the woods and the Leprechaun is there waiting for him. " 'Twas me that made ye hit the ball here," the little guys says. "I just want to ask ye, how's yer golf game?" "My game is fantastic!" the golfer answers. "In fact, that's the first bad ball I've hit in a year! I'm an internationally famous golfer now." He adds, "By the way, it's good to see you're all right." "Oh, I'm fine now, thankee. I did that fer yer golf game, you know. And tell me, how's yer money situation?" "Why, it's just wonderful!" the golfer states. "I win fortunes in golf. If I need cash, I just reach in my pocket and pull out $100.00 bills I didn't even know they were there!" "I did that fer ye also. And tell me, how's yer sex life?" The golfer blushes, turns his head away in embarrassment, and says shyly, It's OK." "C'mon, c'mon now," urged the Leprechaun, "I'm wanting to know if I did a good job. How many times a day?" Blushing even more, the golfer looks around then whispers, "Once, sometimes twice a week." "What??" responds the Leprechaun in shock. "That's all? Only once or twice a week?" "Well," says the golfer, "I figure that's not bad for a Catholic priest in a small parish."

TourStage F/ST Fairways
I was tempted to get a Gemini, but I'm really controlling the K right now real well left or right. But in Myrtle, I couldn't hit my steelhead III fw at all! I hit driver off the deck much better (I'm not kidding... ) Loved the 19* F/UT! It can run 220 or so, or just land softly 190 away. I wish they made a 15*!
-
TourStage F/ST Fairways
I'd be looking for a 4 wood or strong 4. Was it pulled b/c of the shaft, do you think???
-
TourStage F/ST Fairways
DaDriver, FAQ, etc, do these play similar to the F/UTs? I LOVE MY F/UT and would be curious to get a review of the F/STs as well as some advice on where to find them. I swear the F/UT is 'point 'n shoot.' I love the feel and the "click" you hear when you hit it solidly. Thanks kids!
-
New driver, can't hit it!
That sucks. Don't be  though. There's a HUGE difference between those two shafts. Pull out the 757 and reshaft it with an Aldila Green NV 65 or maybe a Purple Ice. You'll bomb it. Sell the pullout for $100 and you've broke even.

Srixon UR-X Ball
That's good news, because I used the UR-X this weekend in Myrtle and that ball spins way too much. It was HIDEOUS. I backed up a ball 5 feet in the apron w/ a pitching wedge. That's stupid.

This Guy's Actions really PMO
HipCheck replied to bookin_4_nub's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearThis is most enlightening statement about this subject I have ever seen. You're absolutely right. You want to run a business, you're going to have costs associated with it. Period. Thanks for making it! Some business owners won't use AMEX b/c of the higher fees, then fine. But even Visa/MC charge something and you NEED to accept one of them.

Here's my swing
Don't know. :D Did you know the old owners are taking it back effective March 20th???
