Yep. Don't know how the Canadians do it, b/c my swing is super rusty after 3 months off. I can only imaging 4+ months out of commission...

The camera angle is right behind the ball, not me, so perception is a bit off. However some critiques make sense to me. I always struggle with widening the arc, because it's not a natural movement for me. I also become a bit long on the backswing which explains the club being too inside. As long as I can fix it w/o messing w/my head too much before Myrtle Beach, I'm fine. I'll post a comparison after I've fixed the swing.

Ah naylit you nailed it. I saw it as soon as you said it. Right knee straightens out, puts weight on the left leg, and they you go. I ran out to the range and hit a small bucket...Problem solved! :D Thanks bud. Next time I'll just PM you! 'COZ THEY ARE GOOD TO US!

Alright guys, I finally got the cajones to record my swing & post it. It's a boring day here and the tourney is washed out so I've been brushing up on my web skills (when I should be brushing up on my golf skills). Here's a link to a flash movie I recorded through my digital camera. The good news is I'm hitting 250 and my swing normally isn't this bad. The bad news is I have 3+ months of rust and am headed to Myrtle Beach in 2 weeks. Help me out! I see problems with my spine angle becoming too upright at impact and that I'm not really releasing the club through impact. Look at how bowed my left wrist is on the followthrough. To me, my followthrough looks like Monty's, when I want it to look like Freddie's. Any advice is appreciated! ****update: Will post again when swing is grooved. Thanks guys****
  8. All those clubs are hot looking! I have 1 TourStage club, a 19* F/UT steel stiff & I just got back from the range and can really wallop the thing. It feels really solid. Much better than the Rescue Mids. Very workable too. Oh no! I'm talking up TourStage. Possible addiction starting....I'm becoming "DaHipCheck"! :P
  9. Sorry TM, but I simply refuse to buy a driver that costs more than my first two cars COMBINED. :P
  10.   I'm dying!
  11. Chris, these pics are SICK! Great job! FYI, for large movie files, you may want to load them in a FLASH movie to compress them. 8)

Bought a doz a while back at golfsmith.com for $23. Haven't played them yet. I hope they're similar to the Pro V1. (2 weeks to Myrtle.....!)
  14. I changed from interlock to overlap about 4 years ago. Why? I have no idea. But, I do feel it's a less restrictive grip and gives me more speed through impact.
  15. I agree with the above posts. Saw BSG and was floored! Lots of class, Chris. :)
  16. Big Ben players are always welcome in my book! :)
  17. What a smart ass you are HipCheck  Why it is home to great beer , great peelers , great other stuff that I won't mention and the home of your screen name  But I'll take that in a good way .  All of my Canadian knowledge comes from Hockey and The Tragically Hip, hence my handle.
  18. I got 2 the first time. Then 4 the second. Where is Canada anyway?
  19. dude!!! do the pilates!!! the track that I run on goes around the top of the gym and you can look down into all the exercise rooms. All those jazzercise, yoga, pilates classes are filled with hot chicks in spandex!!!! Sounds like the perfect way to play into a threesome if you ask me... something about exercise gets girls all horned up... I am telling you I see the way they look at me like piece of meat as I jog while they are taking a rest! Damn Pete...you are hilarious. My wife is sitting here about to cry when she read that. I live in a small town and would have to drive about 30-45 minutes to get into a decent gym. Just follow Atkins. But you need to really follow it strictly. My wife & I have been following it for year w/great success! I lost 20 lbs. & my only exercise is the golf course!
  20. Its all about living the dream for the guys who use them... now there are other people who b/s/t them and make money off them. People collect a lot weirder things... I'll clarify. Scotty Covers are one thing. That's a marketing niche. I don't mind putter headcover collecting. It's cool. But a VSteel tour cover? That's a little overboard.
  21. New rant: Tour Only Headcovers :? Huh? Are these really necessary to brag about? Who gives a crap. I don't care if you use 1986 Converse tube socks with two big black stripes on them. Hit the damn ball. What's next? Tour Only socks? Ad: "These are the only socks good enough for Brad Faxon's piggies."
  22. No I am still here :P
  23. Oh I almost forgot my lawnmower that I bought brand new and refused to start after 1 year! SEARS of course! So I beat the sh!t out of it and put it out on the curb. Someone took it w/in an hour. That's the great thing about living on a busy street. Got trash to get rid of? One man's trash is another man's treasure. Also the Craftsman "speed-lok" drill bits fused to the "speed-lok" device so I brought them back....TWICE. They gave me a real hard time both times, saying Craftman sockets/wrenches/screwdrivers are guaranteed for replacement, but everything else is "buyer beware". I said "Hey buddy, I'm not trying to drill through the Earth's crust here, I'm just putting up a friggin' fence!" Now I buy everything at the Home Depot, aka. "the big orange box" or Lowe's
  24. Let me guess --- bad power sander ! Everything! The list: - Dented dryer on delivery - Broke railing on delivery - Items in stock couldn't be found - Trying to force delivery for a broken treadmill - Trying to force delivery for a broken stove - Broken propane tank They suck! Need I go on? :)
  25. I'll start. I hate SEARS.
